Sharon Ashwood is a free-lance journalist, novelist, desk jockey and enthusiast for the weird and spooky. She has an English literature degree but works as a finance geek. Interests include growing her to-be-read pile and playing with the toy graveyard on her desk. As a vegetarian, she freely admits the whole vampire/werewolf lifestyle fantasy would never work out, so she writes paranormal romances instead.

Sharon lives in the Pacific Northwest and is owned by the Demon Lord of Kitty Badness.

ENCHANTER REDEEMED is an epic adventure of betrayal, salvation, and hopefulness. The Camelot Reborn miniseries has been very imaginative, as the first three books told of King Arthur and several of his knights living in the modern world and preparing to fight demons plus the fae. These two groups want retribution for what was done to them when a spell was cast by Merlin many years ago, and now a big battle is looming ever closer. Sharon Ashwood has created an extremely original story where hearts and lives are on the line, and if good does not triumph over evil, the world will forever be changed. I was immediately drawn into each fascinating detail in this novel, where all developments come across as believable.

In order to rid Camelot of demons during the time of Arthur, the magical abilities of Merlin were used and the attempt was successful. But not all were happy with the way everything turned out, and the enchanter has been trying to correct a horrendous wrong ever since. But it seems his time has run out when a foe once banished has come back into his life.

There is one demon in particular that wants to make sure Merlin suffers for what he did to her. He once knew the talented Vivian very well, and has no doubt about her current feelings for him. Though he never wanted to associate with her again in any manner, an incident lets her know something personal about him. Now the unforgiving demon is inside a witch named Clary Greene who is Merlin’s apprentice, and the outcome is uncertain when something so powerful is seeking revenge.

The Camelot Reborn miniseries has been so innovative from the start, and ENCHANTER REDEEMED takes creativeness to new heights. Many beloved characters from the King Arthur fable are featured, and I was especially impressed with how the author made Merlin such an interesting individual. While he is certainly gifted with it comes to using magic, Sharon Ashwood also showed a very personal side to this man, one which desires the same things an ordinary person would crave. I have always been intrigued with Merlin, and after reading this account of possible truths concerning him, I am even more riveted by the myths surrounding him.

Though Clary is a witch, she has come to Merlin in order to enhance her abilities. When her body is hijacked by a demon, I totally enjoyed all the conversations between the two, as they were informative plus even amusing at times. How Clary and Merlin interacted at first had me wondering if they could ever be a couple. Then several unexpected events take place, and their lives are altered in ways they never saw coming.

Any actual physical clashes in the story are packed with action, and all the different species involved were definitely attention-grabbing. Sharon Ashwood always supplied numerous vivid descriptions when it came to locations or beings, thus letting me easily envision the scene in my mind. ENCHANTER REDEEMED will long be remembered for its realistic portrayal of legendary characters.

In this fourth book in the Camelot Reborn series, Merlin has his story told. It’s full of demons, regrets, redemption and love. Merlin’s first love, a demon named Vivian, ends up inhabiting his apprentice, Clary. This leads to all sorts of issues, for Merlin and Clary, as well as Vivian. At first Vivian wants revenge against Merlin, but experiencing Clary’s human feelings, she changes in a good way. Merlin is desperate to correct the horrible mistake he made when trying to save Camelot, which ended with the fae losing their souls. He’s finally making progress in finding a cure, but will need to confront his past and his feelings for his former lover, as well as his feelings for Clary, in order to correct his mistake, even if it means sacrificing himself to achieve it. Clary is a witch who suddenly finds herself working with a demon, as a showdown with the evil Morgan La Faye comes ever closer. I loved seeing characters from the previous stories interacting with Merlin and Clary. With lots of character development, as well as heart-stopping action scenes, this book was a great ending to the series.

In all the different versions of Camelot I have read and seen, there was never a Merlin like this one!

In this edition of the Camelot Reborn Series, our book deals with Merlin. Merlin the Wise. Merlin the Enchanter. Merlin who condemned the Fae to living without souls. Merlin who condemned all demons to the Abyss. Merlin who turned all the Knights of the Round Table in statues. Considering everything he’s done wrong, can he even be redeemed? Well, surprisingly enough, his student Clary thinks yes. After all, he’s a very patient teacher and has managed to teach her a lot. I really do adore this series and love the Camelot of Sharon Ashwood’s imagination. It’s different than the one I am used to, but I love it all the same. These stories are all so very well written and just pull me in. There’s so much action that I just can’t stop reading and they all end with a very satisfying heartfelt sigh. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I've really enjoyed this series and am going to miss these characters. We were introduced to Merlin and Clary in previous books, and it was great to get to know them in this. I found Merlin's background to be both surprising and interesting, and I think a prequel on his long life would be amazing. I did struggle with Vivian as she would have grown on me if she had not caused two characters to assault each other by taking away their control/consent. Said characters were more annoyed/angry versus traumatized by what happened, so they were able to move on and forgive. It just didn't sit right with me and felt glossed over. It was nice to have characters I loved from previous books and see where they are in their lives. I was honestly hoping this series would just continue on, but I am happy with how it all wrapped up. I will miss modern day Camelot and its humans, faeries, witches and demons.

Finally! Merlin gets his gal 🖤 Well, he has to deal with demon Vivian first—she’s so bitter about that spell he ‘borrowed’ years ago … and being his ex 🙄 At any rate, Clary is a perfect match for Merlin, with all her spunk, taking no-one’s nonsense. Merlin is haunted in his own way. Clary helps him find his redemption—allowing for their HEA. *** Recommended ***

An action packed booked that has a superb story line. What a fantastic read this was.,.If you are one that likes fantasy as well as paranormal, this little read is definitely one to pick up and enjoy. A blend of action that is just truly riveting at times through the book. I was totally engrossed in this read. I must say it was a truly enjoyable paranormal. Book 4 of Camelot Reborn series, this is Merlin and Clary’s story with a mix of a demon named Vivian. I like Clary’s sass, and that she doesn’t back down unless she has to. Merlin is dealing with a lot of grief, but Clary makes him want to try again, I also enjoyed that he was very protective of Clary. Vivian is out for revenge, and uses Clary at first to do so, but is also evolving and teachable. I love that we are given a great ending to this story, offering redemption, and new hope for the future.

He is attracted to her, but he tries to remain detached to solve the problem of how to give back the Fae their souls. The exciting retelling of Camelot focusing on Merlin's story with danger and surprises!

Received as an ARC, I am leaving my honest review. I absolutely LOVE this series, and this latest journey sure tests the limits of Merlin’s emotions. Learning the truth has surprises in store for the reader. A student suddenly possessed by Merlin’s ex is a combination of breath holding tension and hilarious predicaments. But when war threatens the kingdom of Camelot, there is no stopping Merlin’s determination to win, making for a nail biting epic story not easily put down!.

LOVED IT. The final installment to Ashwood’s New Camelot series was fantastic. This was Merlin and Clary’s story. It was packed full of action and the story line was amazing.
Clary is possessed by Merlin’s ex,Vivian. Vivian was a demon and she trained Merlin. Merlin stole a battle spell from her which had caused many of the problems in the mortal world.

Finally, Merlin gets his HEA with a woman who becomes his match in every way. I am so impressed by how the author creates Merlin's mate - talk about bringing his past into his present. Love is a many-splendored, multiple-leveled complicated thing, and the author proves it in this novel, as Merlin finally finds true love.
