I can see why it's free

Horrible. The book appears to.focus on stereotypes and basic observations vs. any sort of science and research. For someone looking for anything useful about body language, look elsewhere.

Horrid

This is the worst written drivel i have ever experienced. I have never read a book i could not find something positive about until I read this. It absolutely sucks beyond anything I have seen.

Body language

If you were reading my body language, it would be saying I wish I didn’t buy this or waste my time seeing if it ever got useful. I can see where someone trying to fit into a foreign environment might find this useful. I however found it antiquated and boring.

Much of the book makes for reasonable refresher material on the many fascinating nuances of body language, such as body pointing. However this book is nothing monumental and at times comes across as slightly presumptuous.

it's not that it is badly written.. but gsus .. THIS IS NOT A GUIDE cause there is only common sense and the whole "how to get a man/woman's attention" section!????? tf no thanks. I thought it would never end. I still don't know how I pushed it, though. Also, I totally agree with the person who said that the examples of studies were just random ones, lol. there is nothing you dont know

The Body Cannot Lie

A good introduction to body language as indicator of sincerity, this work by Glenn Wilson is also clear and concise. He provides a list of sources as well as fact-filled addendums.

Don't read if you're politically correct and easily offended. It comes off a little man-splain-ish at times and seems the text is begging for narcissist or sociopath to misuse it.

Easy to understand a couple of unknown body languages I didn't know but most were common ones but I enjoyed reading not sure why so many people rated this book poorly for the novice person it's informative.

A good read

Interesting learning of our primal instincts and actions our body's conduct in our every day lives that were oblivious to.

Mediocre at best.

Learned all of this in high school psychology. Waste of my time for sure! Glad it was a freebie through Amazon prime.

Just not interesting

The author wasn't able to hold my interest. The material felt gimmicky and cheesy without much deep research or analysis.

Being Aware

The book has really taught me to be aware of the slight body language that can hint us on what the other person is feeling. Good book, it’s a must read for Employers.

Interesting interpretations on male & female body language. With short modules you can experiment with. In all it is curious that woman interpreted emotions & expressions better than men.

I gave up on this book. Boring crap.
I should try having my off the wall stories published. If Glenn Wilson can do it then surely I can too.

I think it is because the author is English (meaning not American) and body language has a lot to do with culture, I felt that I couldn't relate to a lot of points he tried to convey.

Full of unexplained theories and non-evidence based assumptions. Moreover, there are even some hypotheses that include high-level sexism and patriarchy. Did not like at all.

Disappointing. Most of the material seemed basic and commonly known. I also felt the book was slightly unorganized and difficult in which to remain interested.

Ends abruptly!

Don’t want to give the wrong impression definitely a good book with some insights, but there’s hardly any conclusion or even leading questions at the end.
