The Story of Benjamin Franklin, Amazing American

Rate this book
Ben Franklin was an amazing American because he was:
* a printer and businessman who created Poor Richard's Almanac
* the inventor of the lightning rod and the Franklin stove
* a community leader who started the first public library in America
* a statesman who helped to gain our country's freedom from British.

These are only a few ways in which Ben was amazing. This book tells you much more about him.

I know that most people hate this book and think it's so boring, but I enjoyed it very much!!! To all of you who are saying to yourselves "How can someone have enjoyed that book?!?!" I love American history so what can I say? This book explains very well a summary of all the highlights and a few little details about the life of the very famous scientist that we all know and love, Benjamin Franklin.

This book is an interesting children’s biography about Benjamin Franklin. He was quite a writer and came up with some of the well-known quotes we still hear today. This book gives details about his life and shows he truly was an amazing American (“wise, witty, funny, kind, generous, and caring”). Since it is a children's biography, it is not boring at all and is a very quick read.

Benjamin Franklin is my favorite Founding Father. This book states calmly the facts of his life in a simple, easy-to-read, but enjoyable format. Frankly, I liked it (pun intended). ;)
