I have been a writer from the time I was old enough to recognise that reading was a doorway into my imagination. Poetry was my first foray into the art of the written word. Books were my best friends, my escape, my haven. I am essentially a recluse but this part of my personality is impossible to practise given I have two teenage daughters, who are actually my friends, my tea-makers, my confidantes...

My heart is currently broken in two. One half resides in South Africa where my old roots still remain, and my heart still longs for the endless beaches and the smell of moist soil after a summer downpour. My love for Ma Afrika will never fade. The other half of me has been transplanted to the Land of the Long White Cloud. The land of the Taniwha, beautiful Maraes, and volcanoes. The land of green, pure beauty that truly inspires. And because I am so torn between these two lands - I shall forever remain crosseyed.

I love talking to my readers so email me if you have any questions or even if you just want to chat...

I am writing a review on this based on what I believe this to be... Which is a blatant thievery of previously published works by Shannon Mayer.
This review will be a few examples from the sample chapters I read plus my own opinion. Number one tag line and blurb are virtually identical (update: this has now been changed by the author to read as an excerpt from the book instead of the blatant ripoff "I am Mel Morgan and I'm a tracker.")
Here are a few examples from the original Rylee Adamson series compared to what I have read of this one. You can judge for yourself but these are my thoughts and comparisons.

Rylee Adamson (Priceless) "I think you just follow me around so you can watch my nice tight ass wiggle. You've been watching it for nearly ten years, haven't you?"

Mel Morgan (Blood Magic) "I always knew there was a reason you followed me around twenty-four seven, Detective. I just never realized it was because you had the hots for me."

Rylee Adamson (Priceless) "I looked down at the pictures on the cheap hotel coffee table. A little girl smiled up at me..."

Mel Morgan (Blood Magic) "...a worn photograph sat on top of a thick stack of papers. A little girl in blue jeans and blonde pigtails smiled back at me."

Rylee Adamson (Priceless) "...it didn't matter that there was literally no proof she'd killed her sister; he had a gut feeling something was off about her.."

Mel Morgan (Blood Magic) "No matter how hard he tried to uncover proof that I'd killed my sister he'd fail."

Rylee Adamson (Priceless) "For ten years he'd been trying to pin murder charges on me, and for ten years I stayed free..."
".. we may not have a body, but one day soon, you're going to slip up."

Mel Morgan (Blood Magic) "Nine years now I've been on this bitch's tail..."
"he couldn't stick me with a legitimate charge so he followed me around waiting for me to slip up.."

Welcome to the world of I stole a book report off the internet and need to change it just enough to call it my own. NEWS FLASH that is plagiarism!

Even the love interest/detective uses the characters last name to address her just like the FBI Agent in the RA Tracker series. I also understand the use of a last name of a character isn't unique to any series in particular, it just hits close to home with so many other blatant rip off/similarities to ignore! Again many books are similar, with similar stories and lore, similar if not the same titles etc. however with all these "similarities" I also can not ignore the fact that the Rylee Adamson novels are the Tracker series and this one is the first in the Soul Tracker series...

My thoughts are clear on this matter... I will not support an author who steals, especially from someone who lent a helping hand to you... Tsk tsk such a shame to do that to an author who took the time to help you when you reached out to her.
P.S. I read this myself before hopping on any band wagon... After the tag line I had to investigate further for myself. I thought well maybe it's not the same so I read the sample for myself. I will not pay for the book so I do not know if there are different twists thrown into this book however, if tomorrow I wrote a book about Eddard Stark ,the sparkly vampire from the north, who fell in love with a human girl with some mind power whose best friend was a Werepanther I'd be in big trouble. It's a bunch of bits from other people and I mixed it together and called it mine. It's not mine!

Blood Magic is an exhilarating introduction into the DarkWorld: Should Tracker series by T.G. Ayer. It grabs you from the get go. It’s an action-packed fast-paced mystery that keeps you on your toes. I couldn’t put it down.

I throughly liked the idea, mystery, and scenarios that played out in this story along with the supernatural twists.

Mel, I liked. Her character was easy to connect to. She’s enjoyable, appealing, can get out of most situations, magical, capable, and has some great friends plus a background that is just beginning to be told. She is strongly dedicated to what she does and won’t give up on those she made promises too. She puts everyone before herself and her abilities are unique and rare. Those abilities that she has where very intriguing. It just added to Mel’s uniqueness.

The secondary characters where captivating. I really enjoyed her little gang she has and the love interest that shows up. It was fascinating to find out what and who this love interest is. Though we have a love interest and these awesome friends, our main focus is on solving the mystery and rescuing a little girl.

We do get a few questions answered, yet more questions come up. The ending left me wanting the next book now, so I could dig deeper into the mystery that is left open and those questions still unanswered.

A few things did bother me. Her abilities or at least one was to be a secret, yet I felt everyone knew about it. I also felt like to many things where left open. To many questions at the end.

Blood Magic is a riveting urban fantasy full of mystery that keeps you guessing. I had a delightful time reading and can’t wait to get my hands on book two and find out what happens next.

DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK!!

Plagiarism comes in many forms. Sometimes someone steals your work word for word. Sometimes they steal your cover art. Sometimes they steal your book blurb. Sometimes they even go so far as to copy your ENTIRE SERIES plotline completely.
T.G. Ayer, Author ripped off the ENTIRE concept of The Rylee Adamson Novels by Shannon Mayer and I for one, will NOT stay quiet. This is disgusting-as she copied the concept right down to her sister that goes missing and causes her to track people and the FBI agent following her and eventually becoming her love interest. That wasn’t enough? Then she took the Rylee book tagline of “My name is Rylee and I am a Tracker” and did the EXACT SAME THING?? Let’s go one step further….her covers? They look JUST like cheap imitations of the Rylee covers.
Readers won’t stand for this kind of laziness and unprofessionalism. Authors especially won't stand for it. This is the kind of thing that ruins the industry.http://www.amazon.com/Blood-Magic-Sou...

From the moment her sister disappeared, Mel Morgan’s life has never been the same. It’s always hectic, and there’s never a dull moment. She’s promised herself that she’ll overcome the fact that she’s dead. Yet she can’t help but to wish that she had her sister back in her loving arms somehow. Granted, things haven’t exactly panned out in the direction she’s planned them to go, but she’s never stopped trying to make good on her vows.

Mel is not your ordinary young woman. Her extraordinary powers give her a slight advantage in any situation. Sure, the advantages are sometimes not to her liking, but she’s made do with everything she has at her disposal, nonetheless. She has to. It’s the only way she’ll be able to do what she has to do, and not think too much about it.

When an unexpected case lands in her land, Mel begins to wonder just what she’s gotten into. The case seems to be just like any other, until she begins to delve a tad more deeply into the circumstances surrounding the kidnapping. At first, things seem to be the usual norm. Nothing is out of place. Or so she thinks. Until the little things start popping up. It’s then she realizes that there’s more at stake than she knew.

With time being of the essence, Mel knows she’ll need to step up her game. A little girl’s life hangs in the balance, and she’s the only one who can bring her home. As tensions rise, and things start getting out of hand, she can no longer deny the similarities between this case and several past cases. Though there’s something she’s not quite seeing, she knows she’ll find the link, nonetheless. Only then, can she right all wrongs committed against her and those she’s come across.

A wonderful start to this series, Blood Magic starts with a bang, and keeps right on going. With twists and turns going in every direction, this fast-paced Paranormal Thriller will hook you in, and keep your attention glued to every page. T. G. gives us small glimpses of what’s to come, keeping you interested in the highly volatile plot and world that she’s created. Will Mel come out on top once everything is said and done? I hope so. Until then, I avidly await for what comes next for Mel and her friends.

I'm a big fan of Tee's, have been for a while, and I have read all of her books to date. And this one has to be one of my favourites. I loved the characters and the storyline.

Mel Morgan finds people. Not just lost people; stolen people. Ones that have been taken by Demons. And they are being taken for a reason. Just what that is, is yet to be known.

To complicate things, she has a cop who suspects her of murdering her own family, even though he couldn't prove it, and now he has a partner, a Djinn named Saleem, who for a demon is pretty damned hot.

Mel manages to get herself entangled in something bigger than she is aware of, and finds it hard to get herself out. The story only gets more complicated when Saleem tells her that he needs help finding his own mother.

Tee is a great storyteller, one who weaves many stories into one story that keeps you breathless as the main characters.

An excellent read.

Something just felt a little off to me. The story moved but I didn't move with it. The writing style isn't for me I guess.

Plus, I get so frustrated with the MC who does such dumb things for someone who actually has a hotshot reputation. I mean seriously. First she tried to cheat a necromancer in a REALLY dumb way. Like he wouldn't know what blood that was. And that's AFTER she sought protection from a white witch which (ha) she ditched anyway.

And she keeps trusting the Necromancer to keep his word. She should have asked for the spell first THEN give her blood (and who knows what the Necromancer will use that on, probably that's how he broke her wards), but noooooo, and she should have asked him to set Drake free first before giving him the port key and then she's all 'that wasn't the deal' when he refused to do so. I mean REALLY? He's a necromancer, he uses dark magic. You really think he'd be willing to part with leverage.

It's just arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh.

Let me say first, that I did see some parallels with this story and another series I read. They were very similar to start but seemed to take a different path as it progressed.

That said I enjoyed this read. Thought the characters and world building were good. Hopefully, as the series progresses the characters will continue to develop and become a bit deeper and more complex.

My favorite character was Saleem, the Djinn. (Can I have one of my own?) He was yummy, funny, and I look forward to seeing more of him in the second installment.

The story's action moved at a decent pace and kept my interest. That being said I felt, in many ways, as if I had read the story before - nothing new or earth shattering in this UF - but a decent read none the less.

"Blood Magic" is an interesting tale about a djinn investigator, Mel Morgan who specializes in locating missing people especially children through her abilities to teleport. Of course her almost 100% track record causes her to become under the suspicion of a crusty detective and his new djinn partner, Saleem. Mel has a trusty sidekick, Drake, who is a gargoyle. Quite honestly I'm not sure why the author wrote his character as this mythical creature when we really never read about any abilities. He just seems like a regular man we are told is special.

When a little girl named Stephanie goes missing her father hires Mel to find her. It doesn't take long for Mel to realize Stephanie has special abilities and is located in the demon realm under dark magic. To complicate matters Mel knows in order to rescue Stephanie she will have to seek the help of a dark witch and they are not known for being honest.

As Mel gets closer to rescuing the girl Saleem comes to her and asks for her assistance in locating his missing mother. Try as she might, she finds it hard to minimize her attraction to him. Will he assist her in her quest to rescue Stephanie or is he dangerous? For this and other answers you will have to read the book. I enjoyed the characters in this read I just wish the author had developed them more fully and did more world building. I struggled with the first third of the book and almost didn't finish. However, I persevered and truly began to enjoy it. Read it for yourself and decide.

In dire need of editing: to vs too, going to FirstName's LastName's place, etc.

Character development was lacking and the relationships between characters never developed either, they were just suddenly risking their lives for each other right after they met.

The plot was interesting and fun, but the writing could definitely be improved.

Blood Magic

An enjoyable fun urban fantasy. I really liked the concept of trackers that can project themselves not only in spirit but physically as well. I can't wait to discover more about each of the characters.
The story was fast paced and full of different twist and turns that once I though I had it figured out the author would throw in a new twist.
I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Add another exciting story to Ms. Ayer's ever-growing library of paranormal / urban fantasy stories. Melisande Morgan has spent the bulk of her life searching for her missing sister. Her sister who disappeared the same night Mel watched her parents murdered, close enough to feel their still warm blood hit her face. So she's got some serious energy pushing her to locate & rescue her little sister.

Unfortunately she's also got one pissed off detective riding her ass day and night. When he can't solve a case it usually gets brought to Mel by the missing person's family. And Mel's closure rate is close to 100%, even if it doesn't always mean they get their loved one back alive. At least they get the body and some closure, which is more than Det. Fulbright ever gave her.

This time around Mel is up against some serious dark magic, which means she has to go to the dark side to crack the spell. All her friends advise against it, but they know she can't leave this little girl where she is for much longer. With the help of her former teacher Samuel, Mel has become one of the best Trackers there is, though she blames herself for Samuel's current condition. So she is leery of any of her other friends helping her. But Drake is a real, live gargoyle, so she couldn't stop him even if she wanted to. With Drake by her side, Mel sets off to rescue her latest charge.

But life never works out the way you expect it to, so she ends up working with Detective Fulbright's latest partner, Saleem, who just happens to be a djinn (djinn are demons who have lived in the human realm for so long that they pass for human). Saleem is helping Mel because he needs her help. But what are they going to do about their very intense attraction to each other? Especially once Mel learns more about who Saleem really is.

Even if they save the girl, they'll still be going up against some pretty powerful players to get Saleem's loved one back - if they survive that long. But Mel intends to do whatever it takes to survive that long, because she can't rest until her sister is home safe.

Full of action, emotion, magic, and just great characters, this is start of yet one more exciting spin-off series by Ms. Ayer. And it looks as if it could grow some legs and stand alone just fine, developing a following all of its own. I know I certainly plan on reading the next book in the series as soon as it comes out, and I'm already anticipating a third book, if I get so lucky!

Blood Magic is a quick, enthralling read following Mel, a famous tracker and skilled teleporter, as she rushes to save a young girl from demons. She meets some shady characters along the way and has to make some immoral deals in order to finish her mission. Twist? The little girl is special, and the demons will stop at nothing to get her back. Uncovering a huge plot of some darker plans, Mel pairs up with Saleem, a Djinn, in hopes of beating the odds and solving the mystery.

The premise of this novel held me captive, as it was promising. Mel lost her sister at a young age, and now she has a job where she tracks and rescues missing children to fill in that hole. She takes pride in returning children to their families, because they feel the joy she never got. What I had trouble understanding however, was why she was this master tracker everyone knows about. Can no one else follow a magical trail by touching something that has the missing person's DNA on it? Admittedly, the magical concept of this novel was fairly intriguing, full of teleporting, tracking, projecting, spells, witches, necromancers, demons, the likes. However, it fell a little flat. The magic in the novel was huge for the plot, and it never really delivered. Yes, there is magical wards and spells and trickery, but not as much as you may expect from the synopsis. This is only the beginning however, and the second books holds a lot of promise.

Romance plays a small part in this book. It's one of those, "I saw the stranger and immediately fell in love with his intense eyes, and he couldn't look away from me, nor could I look away from him" kind of things. Thankfully, there were only a few cringe worthy sentences. Most of the romance centered on the two characters helping each other out and worrying about them. There was a kiss here and there, something that was never really built up to because the romance itself is fairly underdeveloped. I have hopes that the second novel builds on that more, because as instant as it is, the characters do seem to work well with each other, and the romance is more so a back burner to finding missing people and uncovering a large political plot.

Overall, Blood Magic is a whirlwind of danger and magic, secrets and deceit. This quick read is full of mystery and action, something most everyone can enjoy!

This book was amazing! It kept me hooked all the way through. This was one of those stay up until 3am books. I was literally up all night with this one, and I have no regrets doing so. Sleep can wait, because this book was so worth my time.

This book was filled with a whole new world. You wouldn't think of someone making a book about a soul tracker, so this one kept me interested. It had just enough description so that you could feel how certain magics in the book felt to the main character. It was as if I could feel it running through me myself, and I could really live out the story. This book is not only about a soul tracker, but a good hearted one too, that always puts others before herself, even if it means putting herself in danger. She has a good soul that I was easily able to bond with, and ultimately become a part of her. Mel was the perfect type of main character for the book.

That being said I have already decided that I want my friends to know about this book, so I am raving about it to my best friend. I love being able to share how much I love a book with others. That being said I would definitely want to read more of this authors books, and I can't wait for book 2. I can't get enough of this world.

Blood Magic by T.G. Ayer is a magical story that everyone who reads it is going to instantly enjoy. From the very beginning, I was pulled in and couldn't put it down until I knew if Mel could save the young girl she was searching for.

This book is thrilling, shocking, and leaves the reader begging for the second book. I admired Mel from the very beginning. She was so young when her world was flipped upside down. Yet she grew and fought to become an inspiring young lady who is determined to save those who need saving. When she meets Saleem, I couldn't help but hope she would finally find someone to help her feel less alone in the world she dealt with. His character is so charming and leaves a smile on your face.

So if you appreciate a book that can magically transport you into the world it creates and one that has supernatural beings, then you need to pick this one up.

I give Blood Magic by T.G. Ayer 4 out of 5 MYTHICAL STARS.

I received a copy of this book at no cost from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

The first book in TG Ayer's "Soultracker" series gets it off to a good start. Melisande (Mel) Morgan has a number of paranormal gifts which she uses to track and hopefully retrieve missing persons. She can locate the person psychically using an object they've been in contact with or a sample of their body - like what law enforcement would use for a DNA sample - and can project her consciousness to different locations, such as where the person she's seeking is located or a room she wants to check out, even if it is in a different dimension. She can also physically jump herself pretty much wherever she needs to go, and can bring one or more people with her as long as they are all in physical contact. Her home base is Chicago, and while few officers are aware of her talents (or the existence of the paranormal world, for the matter) the Chief of Police knows what she can do and the two have a good working relationship.

As I've come to expect from Ms. Ayer, the story is well plotted and her characters are distinct and dimensional. Even the strongest characters have their weaknesses, and these vulnerabilities feel appropriate given what else we know of the characters, rather than a flaw that seemingly exists simply to move the plot further. Ayer does a nice job of setting up the different turns the story takes so that while they're surprising, they also make sense.

Soultracker is part of Ayer's Dark World universe, a setting shared with her Skinwalker series, and there are a number of mentions made to characters and events there. These are nice "Easter eggs" for fans of both series, but no knowledge of the Skinwalker story is needed to understand this one.

I do wish she'd sometimes back off from the "insta-romance" trope that is used so often in any kind of romantic storytelling. Her Valkyrie series is a great example of just how effective it can be to build a relationship more slowly, giving the reader more time to get invested in the couple and enjoy the different milestones they pass as they grow closer. Fortunately, though, it's not a major annoyance and the other elements of the story are strong enough to outweigh it.

Ayer has quickly become one of my favorite authors because I know I can rely on her to provide a well-crafted tale, full of interesting characters and set in a fully-realized and unique world. Her work is definitely worth checking out.

We meet Mel Morgan, a tracker and a master teleporter. She specialises in finding lost people even long after it turned into a cold case with the police.
Set in DarkWorld, where vampires, shifters, witches and demons are very very real.

When she follows the lead on her new case involving the disappearance of a little girl, Mel knows she needs help. This is one case that she wont be able to solve alone.
With her gargoyle partner, her hacker friend, a sexy Djinn with his own secrets and other allies, will she find the missing girl in time?

My take on the book:
I enjoyed it, it kept me captivated and entertained throughout.
It was fast paced, though sometimes a tad too fast. Keeping a slower pace would have given plenty of opportunity to flesh out the storyline, cast and the settings more.
I have high hopes for the rest of the series concerning character development and interaction, hoping to find more motive, more insight and history.
The plot of the story was good, with some unexpected twists here and there, so don't think you figured it all out until you read the last page! :-)

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book, but will be putting the next few in the series on my TBR pile for when I want a quick read!

I loved T.G. Ayer’s DarkWorld SkinWalker series, so it’s no surprise that I quickly glimmer on to Blood Magic, the first of the author’s new SoulTracker series, which is a spinoff and also set in the fantastic multiverse created for the DarkWorld series (though this series can standalone so you don't have to read that series first, even if you’d be missing something grand). You gotta love any story involving gargoyles, demons, sorcerers and Djinn - or a take-no-prisoners snarky feisty heroin like Mel Morgan who, oh yeah, just happens to be a Master Teleporter capable of moving through the “Veil” into the otherworldly planes (and is wickedly powerful). This is a great adventure with wonderful writing, some neat twists and turns and a fabulous cast (I especially liked Saleem the Djinn). Really this is a superb series start of what I can already tell is going to be a new addiction. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

This is the first book in the SoulTracker arc of the Dark Universe series, which feature Mel the tracker and Saleem the Djinn (previously seen in the SkinWalker books). While I wasn't 100% sure where this action took place in relation to the SkinWalker books (from references in the book it's obviously after Kai's attempts to save her sister, but otherwise I'm not sure), it didn't really make any difference, and wouldn't have mattered if you hadn't read any of those books either, and were approaching this book as your introduction to the Dark Universe. The writing was excellent (as I've come to expect from TG Ayer!) and I really liked getting to know Mel and Saleem better. The storyline was really engaging and kept me hooked from beginning to end, thrilled to know what'd happen next. I loved it, and can't wait to read book 2 to find out what happens next to all the characters. An excellent read, and I definitely recommend it to all Dark Universe lovers, and anyone who is a fan of the paranormal and supernatural.
NB I received a complimentary copy of this book, but I always give an HONEST review based wholly on my own opinions

Author T.G. Ayer brings us a different perspective of her Darkworld universe with the first in the Soul Tracker series. Mel Morgan is a soul tracker who goes out of her way to help those that come to her to find a family member or an object that they've lost. When she is asked by her police contacts to look into a missing girl case, she takes it and is able to track the girl to a demon plane where they are holding her. Along the way she runs into a Djinn named Saleem who asks her to help him track down his mother, the former ruler of the demon plain. Mel also goes and gets help from a Necromancer who has a devilish side that she doesn't know about. This is a great beginning to the Soul Tracker series and since we've already been introduced to Mel before in Tee's Skin Walker novels it really good to see this universe expand. I'm looking forward to read the next novel in the series and I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed this book.

The main character, Mel Morgon, is interesting and you get to know a good amount about her. There is some back story as well knowing her friends and flaws.

The story is exciting and there are a lot of things happening that are all interesting. Not everything gets resolved in this book which is both good and bad. The good is that it's improbably for every problem that arises to be tied up in one neat little bow. The bad is having to wait for the next book to know what happens!

The other characters are fun too but I want to know more about them so I'm hoping for more back story of everyone else in the next books. I also hope for more perspectives then just Mel. There was some of Saleem's but I would love more from his perspective as well as some of the other characters.

I thought adding saleem's point of view was completely worthless. He hardly has any chapters from his point of view, and they don't add much to the story or romance. Speaking of romance, there isn't any; it's all lust about how sexy they find each other. I think removing saleem's point of view and removing the "romance" would have helped the flow and pacing of the story. With that said, the rest of the story was ok. I thought her tasks for the necromancer were a little too easy, but it wasn't a big problem.

Note: the ebook only went up to 66%. after that were sample chapters for "skin deep", a different series, sample chapters for the same book Blood Magic (I don't know why these chapters were repeated...), and Retribution, chronicles of irin, book 1

Could have been better....

This was my first book by new to me author Ayer. After reading some other reviews I realized that this is a spin off from a previous series which explains my slightly lost feeling. I felt as if there was backstory i was missing, unfortunately I didn't like this enough to go back and read the previous series. I did find that Mel and her powers grew on me as the book progressed. There seemed to be the promise of romance with Saleem that wasn't realized. For the most part I enjoyed this book. Will I continue the series? I'll have to think about that. Cautiously recommended.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for voluntary review consideration.

I really enjoyed this book. This is one of my first books by this author and I am glad I had the chance to read it. I like how strong of a character that Mel is and I like the idea of a master teleporter. Of course gargoyles are alaways cool too. I love the interactions between the characters and how they go about doing what they need to do. There are plenty of twists and turns and its enough to make a very good book. Mel is a character that will have you rooting for her as you go through the book with her as she tries to save as many people as she can.

I know for a fact I will be looking forward to more in this series!!

It all felt a little jumbled and stilted at times, we don't really get a backstory of Mel except the tiny part of the fact that her parents were murdered and her sister missing but sorta in a casually mentioned in passing kind of way.
Mel was a petty cartboard cutout version of a character and maybe I would have liked her if the writer actually let us know who she actually was and why she does the things she does.. But nope.

She also was pretty damn dumb for someone who is supposedly the best there is in her field, which was disappointing.

So, obviously I will not be continuing this series.

Great book to get you out of your Paranormal book funk

This book had my undivided attention at the first chapter . Mel is a tracker she can jump to other plains of existence but in this book she mostly jumps into the demon plain. Mel is trying to find a lost little girl as she progresses on her mission she meets Saleem who works for some kind of paranormal police force. Saleem needs Mel's help tracking his mom you see Saleem is a Genie . Mel and Saleem have some kind of chemistry going on but they just kiss in this book . There are plenty of characters in this book but The authors writing is so smooth I'm never confused who the character in the scene is.

Thrilling

A action packed story with a head strong caring heroin Melisande willing to do what needs to be done to accomplish her goal. She has worked hard to embrace her abilities and to push herself beyond her comfort zone to understand them even further. Characters like Drake her best friend, Samuel a mentor, Storm who took her in, Chloe a confidant, and Saleem a detective that bring personalities and different aspects to the story. Each have intrig and abilities of their own making the story interesting and action packed. I recommend this story wholeheartly.
