Quite a good exercise in nostalgia if you were there, and the book covers the evolution of the music pretty well but I found the book very London centric. It did cover the whole Manchester thing but a lot of other significant parties happened including the protests against the criminal justice bill. Also, not a lot about Sasha and way to much emphasis on Oakenfold which exemplifies how London centric this book is. Also the end was rather negative and concentrated on how the drugs ruined it. Many people grew up and out of the scene without any damage at all, indeed most of us even had jobs!
