“You aren’t done with me yet?” He pinned my gaze with his own. With a surprisingly smooth accent, he told me, “Nunca voy a terminar contigo.” I’ll never be done with you.”
“All I can think about is him. His body. It’s like I’m drugged. My brain goes on a loop, replaying things we’ve done, imagining things we’ll do. I walk around in this lust-fueled haze.”
“This food is one hundred percent not drugged because I couldn't find any drugs.”
This is the best type of review....a lovefest so strong you feel it coming off the page. When friends rec books they adore and it all works for the new person reading it....that is just a friends' nirvana....the ones recommending feel justified and the new fan is thrilled they shared it with her. The best part of recommendations.
“I see you, hear you, smell you, feel you. You should be haunted by men.”
"How much will it cost to let me do anything I desire to you?” What would a guy like this— gorgeous, rich, condescending— want? “Some things aren’t on the table.” A flash of anger. “Everything is on my table, little girl.”
“I love it when you call me that.” “I’d rather have a mouthful of you than of your name.” He groaned. “I vowed to myself I wouldn’t book you. I told myself there could be no such thing as a body like yours.”
“Máxim, you fuck me . . . better than any man before.” And then he proved it. Even as I buried my mouth against his neck to muffle my screams, I wondered if I could fall in love with someone in one night."
“I’ve decided to share some of my food with you, because I didnt get you anything else. I was debating on a tall, blond blow-up doll— or a goldfish.”
“I have a closet full of blond blow- up dolls, and goldfish travel poorly on airplanes. Dinner was a wise choice.”
I grinned. “Mojito or wine, Ruso ?”
“Not on your life. Obey my playground rules, or take your balls elsewhere.”
“What do you WANT from me?” He clasped my face, bringing his own close. “Everything.”
I was his sun.Gah! The Master was exactly my kind of book!
“Sevastyan shouldn’t have taken on the responsibility of a new pet if he didn’t have time to watch her. My breed is very destructive.”
’He returned wearing broken-in jeans, with an undershirt for me. “Here. Arms up.”
I hopped from the bed, raising them, and he pulled the shirt over me. It swallowed my body. He grinned down at me. “Almost as fetching as you were in that dress.”
