Ok so yeah this is The Lion King story about Prince Simba who later on becomes King Simba after his father King Mufasa's untimely death due of course to his Uncle Scar but we won't get into that so after SImba is born he is introduced to the Pride Lands by Rafiki...then months later King Mufasa shows Simba what will be his one day when he is king then using Zazu he teaches him to pouunce..Along comes trouble from the Hyneas so Mufasa has to chase them off then later Simba and Nala decided to check out tthe Elephant graveyard after his father told him not to.. Mufasa saves them and he tells Simba about the great kings in the sky etc..then later well Mufasa is killed and Simba is blamed so he runs away and meets Pumbaa and Timon who live in the jungle and live with the motto Hakuna Matata which means no worries for the rest of your days..he grows up with them then one day Nala shows up and tells him what has happened to his people in the Pride lands and that he needs to go back..will have to read it to find out the rest
Cutest edition I found of the Lion King, love the scene with Mufasa and Simba and the colors are just what i was looking for, the illustrations don't disappoint. If i ever have kids i will be reading them this book everyday until they beg me to watch Frozen so i can dishonor them
This book is fairly text heavy. It outlines the plot of the movie, following the lion prince Simba as he grows up. The book is good for ages 4-7. It's very good for narrative skill and vocabulary.
