The way I DEVOURED this anthology. Why choose the bear, when you can be one!

Each story was so dark and fast paced and had me wanting more! I literally want all of these to become novels. Check the TW on this one y'all! ⚠️

#115 - Layla Moon: this one was gut wrenching and left me so satisfying with that man's end. He truly earned that meal. Ruby went through the Wringer from such a young age.

Hush Now - SK Pryntz: I LOVED how unhinged Aurora was, and the lullaby aspect brought that creepy edge I'm so here for. I really would love to see more about Ivy too sometime! Everything had me hooked.

Trigger Point - Ivy Graves: the way I NEED more about Sylvia. The entire concept of this life force garden and her basement pets.. I was speechless! (In the best way) remember, always eat your fruits!

Salvation Is Created - Sage RelleAnne: what a story, it gave me Hunger Games vibes and Purge. With a Russian twist. Just chefs kiss! It was how should I say this... *electric* 😉 (IYKYK)

Burn - Emily Klepp: I hate that so many of us absolutely understand that moment when people call us crazy and a liar when it's nothing but truth. I was so happy that Chelsea had support in Jaxon. He really was a real one for her. And honestly? Her revenge was so satisfying.

Matricide - CJ Riggs: Holy. Shit. I mean what better way to take care of your husband and best friend for betraying you? And okay I had to re read that last part a couple times because WHAT?! Who exactly is Duke now?? I want a whole prequel to understand this one deeper!

Control - Licia Dawn: okay when I say I feel so deranged by how hot this one was though. 🥵 Aurora and Amira made quite the duo team and I loved it! And Amira's dad Drake? Yesssss. I was so here for it!

I just loved every single one of these stories for different reasons! I love that this anthology is for charity, and I highly recommend it anyone who loves dark/horror/gory stories! 💛

"As one of the contributing authors to this series I wanted to inform you all it has been taken down and it is with a heavy heart we have to inform you all that the organizer Layla Moon promptly stole all the funding that was meant to go to charity and deleted all her socials when the contributing sought retribution for the readers 💔

All the evidence can be found all contributing authors Facebook pages. From the bottom of my heart I am so truly sorry💔"

Because of this action, I refuse to support Layla Moon by not reading any of her work. Despicable.

It’s a relatively quick anthology read. Covering the rage of females who feel justice has not been served. Please read the trigger warnings, as this contains SA, childhood abuse, gore and violence etc.

The stories are well written, expletive and descriptive. You do feel like you are there going through their pain and subsequent revenge. You need to read it to know what I mean.

All proceeds from sales of this book go to ‘Map your Voice’ ❤️

Excited to see where these stories and characters can be taken to next.

My oh my, what a collection of darkness bound by loss, pain and reclamation through revenge.
Each author brings their particular brand of deliciousness and love of the macabre— depending on your point of view. A must-read for fans of deeply twisted minds and the feminine rage movement within the dark romance and horror genres.

Holy shit! Honestlythat pretty much sums it up. This is a powerful and ragey collection, and I loved every second of it. It's dark....like really dark. Definitely for people who love dark romance and erotic horror, and even those readers should tred lightly and view all trigger warnings.

If any of the authors ever chose to expand on these shorts and make them into full-length novellas/novels, I would devour every single one. I'm sad to admit there was only one author in this collection that I had read anything from, and boy, have I been missing out! Do not sleep on any of these authors like I was. Grab this collection, and when you're done, go look up other works from them and add them to your TBRs immediately!

ANOTHER really cool thing about this anthology other than the stories themselves is that all proceeds of this story are being donated to MapYourVoice. Prior to reading this, I had never heard of MapYourVoice. It is a free, anonymous nonprofit service for sexual violence survivors worldwide.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely ATE this feminine rage anthology up!!! 🔪🖤

I was very lucky to have been given the opportunity to ARC read this and I am so glad that I did.
7 short stories that made me rage alongside the FMCs and ready to back them up all the way. 👯‍♀️

If you love an unhinged FMC who revels in dark and twisted deeds then this book is a must for you.
Enjoy 📚

A brilliant collection of seven short stories centered on female rage and revenge. It’s dark, intense, and absolutely compelling—I enjoyed them all, but MARITICIDE by CJ Riggs stood out as my favorite.

I loved this anthology and I think I found some more favorite authors! First off, the proceeds from this book go to a charity called Map Your Voice which is huge reason to buy and read this book to begin with. The stories though?? Each one of them were amazingly dark and full of well deserved revenge towards men who did these FMCs wrong. I read this book for Layla Moon but I loved each one of these short stories and NEED more! Here's a short run down of how i felt about each authors story in Written In Blood.

#115 by Layla Moon : If you've read The Offering you need to read this for the backstory/closure of a certain character. You will not regret it!!

Hush Now by SK Pryntz: WoW! Talk about revenge!! This main female is out for revenge on rapists and heading towards eliminating her own monsters of her past. Her sick methods had me giggling and kicking my feet.. loved it! I absolutely need this book to be a full lonnnggg novel!!

Trigger Point by Ivy Graves: You, Ivy Graves, threw me for a loop with your story after reading the first two authors. I was so confused throughout your story but fully intrigued. I'm still so confused about what the first man did but after the other pets showed up, I was excited for Sylvia to exercise revenge. Again, I need way more of this book too and a lot of answers!

Salvation is Created by Sage Relleanne: I really enjoyed this sad short story and want more of these characters and this world. Sophia deserved so much more time to show her revenge but I loved how she delivered it with the amount of time given.

Burn by Emily Klepp: This short story gave me slight stranger danger vibes with her new man, but I still enjoyed it. This main female was really brave and so smart with her plan for revenge. I was getting really nervous without all the details of how she was going to pull her plan off but at the end I was like "ohhhh that's the plan, love it!"

Mariticide by CJ: This story may have been my favorite. Woman gets revenge on her cheating husband and best friend. The spice between her and her accomplice is amazing and I absolutely loved the plot twist at the end!

Control by Licia Dawn: I also really loved this story. The spice in this story was incredible and with her best friends dad?? Loved it! I definitely need more of this book as well because I feel like Aurora needs to get better revenge..

"Written in Blood" is a gripping anthology featuring various authors who delve deep into the macabre and the twisted. Each short story offers a unique take on dark romance and horror, exploring themes that will send shivers down your spine. From sinister plots to captivating characters, this collection promises to keep you on the edge of your seat.

**Review:**

1. **#115 by Layla Moon:**
This story had an intriguing FF concept and a plot that’s sure to captivate. Though the narrative was a bit confusing and closed-door, the overall darkness and twisted nature of the tale was more prominent than its smuttiness—something to keep in mind when reading the trigger warnings. It’s definitely one to dive into if you’re looking for something more eerie than hot.

2. **Hush Now by SK Pryntz:**
A must-read, but do check the trigger warnings first! This story was intense and left me wanting more, especially with the character of Ivy. It’s mysterious and suspenseful, perfectly fitting the anthology’s theme. Definitely would love to see more from this storyline.

3. **Trigger Point by Ivy Graves:**
A quick, twisted tale that fits well with the anthology’s dark theme. The story left me wondering more about Sylvia—was she a vampire, or just insane? The ambiguity adds to the intrigue, though a bit more detail about her would’ve been appreciated.

Unfortunately, I didn’t finish this one at 50%. It wasn’t due to the quality of the writing but rather a mismatch in personal reading preference. This might appeal more to others who are into a different take on dark romance and horror.

---

**Tropes and Triggers:**
- FF romance
- Dark and twisted themes
- Closed-door scenes
- Trigger warnings for intense and potentially disturbing content

I averaged out the stars on this one. A couple were 5, some 4 and up until about 2 minutes ago one was a 3 but I’ve thought about that one a lot and it now clicked. I genuinely didn’t see how it fitted in with the rest of the stories but as I started the review I realised what I had missed.

I loved that little twist at the end of Mariticide with Duke.

I did really like Burn but then I’m already a fan of Emily’s books.

I was only aware of the book because of Emily Klepp and although I had heard of most of the other authors I hadn’t read any of their books but after reading this collection I’m sure that will change.

The collection of stories are for a good cause but keep
In mind that it for and about SA survivor so if that triggers you the don’t read but if it doesn’t give it a go.

#115 by Layla Moon
Oh wow this was one h$ll of a short read. Ruby sure was one h$ll of a lady. Her story was short but man it definitely has all the goring details.

Hush Now by SK Pryntz
Wow ok with this small peek we had here of Aurora I would say that her full story would be a blast. I can’t wait to get more of this one.

Trigger Point by Ivy Graves
Wow this Sylvia lady is one h$ll of a cr&zy lady. I would definitely not want to get lost in the woods and come across someone like her.

Salvation Is Created by Sage RelleAnne
Man this woman she has been through so much. I really don’t know how she got the strength to keep going. But I definitely love that she got her justice in her way. It would be interesting to know more about her. So I hope there would be a full story for this strong woman.

Burn by Emily Klepp
Chelsea story was so heart felt. Even with the drama she went through she was a survivor and the justice she took in her own hands was much deserved. Love reading her story.

Mariticide by CJ Riggs
Oh my goodness this was beyond of what I was expecting and looking for! Nora this woman was one h&ll of a woman she definitely is the definition of h&ll hath no fury like a scorned woman. It was definitely a good read.

Control by Licia Dawn
This one not so bad of a read. But it was missing a bit of intensity of the feelings the characters had.

So I read this for the sole purpose of reading another Layla Moon masterpiece but I loved every short story. There is just something about the perfectly written FMC who is a match all on her own. I knew as soon as she promoted it, that I would need to read it. Layla has quickly become my top dark romance mommy and if she is teaming up with other authors, it's for a reason. This was truly a great collection, no limit to imagination and the spice was spicing. I will have to go and look up the other authors and read some of their books. Thank you all for coming together and putting this one up for us to enjoy. Don't miss out on this one, it's so good.
*I read this all in one but you could def. read one story at a time and just keep coming back for more goodness...the book as a whole is 300, so no shortage of a good time.

Written In Blood (An Anthology)
4⭐️s

I’ve never reviewed an anthology before so I wasn’t sure if I should review each individual story or the collection as a whole; I’ve decided to go with latter.

This collection as a whole is full of feminine rage and angst and tbh I love it. There’s a little bit of romance in each story and a whole lot of revenge. I would say these pieces all go together in the perfect puzzle of why not to mess with a woman, especially one with access to 🔪 and time to plot! The pace is all around good, themes are super dark, and endings are 👩‍🍳💋. Make sure to check out all content and trigger warnings before diving in, this set can get pretty dark. Happy Reading!🖤

Seven amazing dark romance/erotis horror authors.
Seven amazing novellas with a badass FMC´s.
Seven times I yelled at my kindle "YEEEEES GIIIRL!!!"

This book was SO good! I loved that it is an anthology with each story written by a different author. I have already read a couple of books by some of the authors, and I had a feeling that I was gonna love this book - and I did!

The stories are all unique and intriguing. Read the whole book in one day, and Im NOT a fast reader. But the FMC´s just called to me, I could not put this book down!!

So grateful that I had the opportunity to arc read this amazing book. I sure hope there is more books to come!

This book as a whole has short stories from 7 different authors who came together to encourage women who have suffered, that they have a voice, and that their voice matters! They came together to write this Anthology in support of the MapYourVoice nonprofit. Here are my reviews for each individual story, but as a whole, this book earns 5 freakin stars. It is extraordinary!!!!

#115 by Layla Moon -
Wow! This short story is filled with so much pain and revenge. I absolutely loved seeing Ruby get her revenge, but also, I loved how she finally was able to open up about her demons. Layla Moon did an amazing job!

Hush Now by SK Pryntz -
Freaking amazing! I absolutely need MORE of Aurora's journey and story! I need to see her get her revenge and learn more about Ivy. I'm very curious about Ivy's brother, too. Please, please give us more of this phenomenal story, SK Pryntz.

Tigger Point by Ivy Graves -
What an interesting story. Fast and creepy, it'll definitely keep your heart beating a million miles an hour. She is definitely the horror queen.

Salvation is Created by Sage RelleAnne -
Please, Sage, please give us more! I need to know. This story had me captivated! I needed to know what was going to happen next. I cried for Sophia. That poor woman and her journey of revenge was so emotional, raw, dirty, and downright gritty. I want to know her future, what happens next, does she get past her trauma, will she get her HEA? It was so good but left with so many emotions. It was a truly amazing end but totally left open for the possibility of more. FREAKING PHENOMENAL!!!!

Burn by Emily Klepp -
I really enjoyed Chelsea's story and the fact that she formed such a strong bond with Jaxon that he was willing to help her see her way to revenge. It's a short read, but the plot is spectacular and gets right to the point. The bad men got what they deserved, and she can heal and move on to live a better life filled with happiness and love.

Mariticide by CJ Riggs -
Epic, freakin extraordinary. This is my first time reading a story written by CJ Riggs, and let me tell you, she did not disappoint. Nora's story was amazing. Never piss off your wife or break your vows. This is the perfect example of why. I'm not sure what it says about me that I freakin loved it, but I don't care! *insert evil witch laugh*

Control by Licia Dawn -
Talk about Daddy vibes. I freakin loved it. I hope Licia writes a full-length novel with this vibe. I devoured it because I NEEDED to know. I was hoping to find out more about Aurora's past and would have enjoyed more of her and her healing with Drake. But even with how short it was, it was excellent and delicious.

I loved how this book was specially for SA survivors!! It really brought into view of all the different experiences and how each person over came/overcomes it with some help or all alone and standing proud and tall and bravely to have announced that they have survived it and there is no one stopping them or are going to question them on anything!! It's a well written book and I loved it soo much.loved the feminine rage theme

This is 7 short stories from 7 authors, an anthology written by these lovely authors for charity for an amazing cause

I enjoyed these short stores full of feminine rage. The badass FMCs in these stories are survivors of SA in some way shape or form and are all hell bent on revenge and boy do they get it 😈🥵.

So if you’re into badass FMCs with some spice and bloody gore thrown into the mix this anthology is for you.

Definitely a GIRL POWER book—but the dark version, not like Spice Girls girl power✌🏼 lol. Some of the violent/dark scenes I was even like “oh, shit.” And I am very desensitized by the nature of the work that I do. Overall tho loved the short stories, made it quick to read, and liked the variety! Cheers, gals. 💋
