Nobody wants to hear the word “diet” from your doctor but it’s the best word ever said to me only AFTER reading this book. Starting anything new in your senior years can be daunting. My doctor suggested the Mediterranean diet. I downloaded this book and it was EVERYTHING. It simplified the thought process behind it, explained it fully, and then provided delicious recipes. I have been beyond satisfied and love all of the food. I’ve been on a diet program on and off my whole adult life. But on that diet I now see that you actually concentrate more on staying in your points value to get the faster result than choosing healthier foods. Not the diet’s fault just makes you lazy to choose easier foods pre-prepared that are not necessarily good for you as you get older. Thank you to the author for making this journey easier. I’m feeling so much better internally. I removed the word diet when I talk about it. I say I’m eating on the Mediterranean “Edit” switching the evil diet word around. I’m just editing my body.
