Yuki Midorikawa (緑川ゆき, Midorikawa Yuki) is a Japanese mangaka (manga artist). Midorikawa is best known for drawing the manga series Natsume Yujin-cho ("Natsume's Book of Friends").
Yuki Midorikawa started writing manga when she was an elementary school girl. When she was a junior high school student, she sent her manga for the first time to "Hana to Yume", a semi-monthly Japanese shōjo manga magazine published by Hakusensha. Since then, she had kept drawing manga to become a mangaka.
A nice end to this auction story. Still leaves multiple unanswered mysteries behind which will hopefully be brought up again in later chapters. Loved the little carousel chapter. It's nice to see Natsume remember a happy time from when he was young.
i WISH i had more volumes every time i do read one. at least this time around it wasn't a cliffhanger. midorikawa manages to keep things so consistent character wise through 20 years that it's impressive. i haven't read many, if any, manga where the story runs for so long but doesn't go through a major shift or change or time jump. i love the inclusion of matoba's sister, she's eerie but interesting, and i love tanuma finally helping out. i also adore the cats.

WOW! A very packed and full of adventure and intrigue volume! The continuing adventures of Natsume, his cat\Wolf, and his many friends in the human and Yokai world! Natsume continues to grow and gain knowledge and power! Hope we learn more about his Grandmother Reiko!
I feel like this series cannot end until we know what Reiko was really up to. Obviously she's a chaos goblin and that was most of her motivations, but maybe there was also something else? Or maybe she just chaos goblined too close to the sun.
An end to the auction story, plus a one shot. I didn't love the plot of the auction story, but the characters were all fascinating. And the one shot was really beautiful, the sort of story that I most like in this series.
