Very well written and edited novella. Major cliffhanger.
This series starts off with a new angle to the MC/biker genre. A society girl and an extremely bright, but fatalistic Hispanic boy destined for two very different futures meet in high school and are reunited ten years later. The main female character is smart and independent. She doesn't need rescuing and other than the a grasping, ambitious mother, seems to have had a nice childhood. That background pretty much sets this series apart from most of the other MC/biker books I've read.
Because this is just a novella, we don't learn much about the her former boyfriend, now biker, except he and his club are 1 percenters, involved in some serious criminal activity. We learn a little about her current fiancé, but the cliffhanger makes it clear there's more to come.
I'm not a fan of cliffhangers or serials, but I really enjoyed this installment, so am looking forward to the next release. Recommend for fans of the MC/Biker genre.
