"He should know I'm not interested in an enemies to lovers romance, not when I have the perfect sweet brooding monster right here in front of me."
What a lovely finale to this swoony monster romance! Even though Moth and Heather weren't together for a lot of the book I really enjoyed reading this because of all the fun side characters and drama. I was not expecting the book to go the way it did but it was a blast! And looking forward to the (hopefully) future books with some of these characters. I am very much in love with Gil and the Vampire King. I know I'm supposed to sort of hate the king since he was the "villain" but he was just too charming and funny to hate. I want him to find real love.
One small rant....HOW DOES CHRIS KEEP SHOWING UP?? Take the hint bro...we don't want you around.
I don't know if this counts as a slow burn since the characters have been together for a few years now by the time we get to these events but there isn't any spice until the very end. It's not very explicit but I was excited for the chase! I won't spoil it here but it was different than the typical chase scenes and I loved it!
Can't wait to see what comes next in this world!

in the third book of the mothman in love series, heather and moth are preparing for their wedding…but when heather’s bachelorette party ends with her getting kidnapped by a vampire king determined to make her his bride, their preparations are put on hold.
i had a great time with this book! from heather trying to set the vampire king up on a dating website to moth getting to know his future mother-in-law, there was not a dull moment in this. i believe this is the end of heather and moth’s books, but i wouldn’t be surprised if there were more books in this universe. we got to know several side characters in this installment, and i think some of them would make great main characters! no matter what, i will definitely be reading more from paige lavoie.

The POV shift made sense for the plot but it was weird after reading two books without it. Also, she goes to her bachelorette party with her dog in the faerie realm, dog comes back to the mortal realm to alert mothman to the fact that she got kidnapped, he excuses himself from the conversation with his soon-to-be mother-in-law to take the dog out to go to the bathroom AND LEAVES FOR 24+ HOURS and no one seems to think that's an issue. I would have filed a missing person's report, THEY LIVE IN THE WOODS, WHAT IF BEAR GOT HIM? SHE DOESNT KNOW HES MOTHMAN (at this point)

I loved this trilogy so much!
I’m Getting Married to Mothman was such a good wrap up to the series. I loved every moment with Heather and Moth, from all of their adorable and cozy cabin-in-the-woods moments to their adventures in the fae realm. I am not usually a fan of the instalove trope, but I am for Heather and Moth! Their love story is seriously the cutest! If you enjoy grumpy x sunshine and a cinnamon roll MMC who calls her “his flame”, then this series is for you.
I was excited to see there is chronic illness rep in this series. While I do not have Hashimoto’s Disease, I have Celiac Disease and could very much relate to needing to eat gluten free and all the GF rep in this series. That was exciting and meaningful and not something I usually come across. (My mom has Hashimoto’s Disease, too, so the chronic illness rep is extra meaningful to me.)
This series is a fast paced, cozy romantacy read with wonderful world building, fun characters and cute pets (that I hope to see more of!), tasteful spice and all the cottage core vibes. I could not get enough of Sprout!
I can’t wait to read more stories from the Eclipsica universe!

What a lovely way to end the series! I had my suspicions about a certain character in book 2, but the way said character sidetracked the plot was next level. I adored everyone coming together for Heather and Moth's big day.

Heather and Moth are as happy as can be, all that's left is to tie the knot. With their nuptials soon approaching, Heather heads to the Fae Realm for a Bachelorette Party with her nearest and dearest. Unfortunately, things soon go awry with the arrival of the Vampire King who plans to steal Heather away and make her his bride!
I need to start this review by stating that I have absolutely loved this series and how much I adore the characters. It's so easy to see how much love has been poured into making these. Now we are at the end of the trilogy and what a journey it has been!
It was such a pleasure to see all of our favourite characters once again, they have grown so much together. In this book, we explore old and new characters as well as this extended world which leaves space for spin-offs to be made.
Heather struggles with some of her old insecurities but Moth is always there to quash them when they arrive - their communication is unmatched!
Sadly, I do have some minor criticisms. This, for me, was not the strongest book in this series. Our main characters spent most of the book apart, and it personally didn't feel like there was a sense of urgency to get them back together even though the wedding was looming over our heads. I understand the importance of them being apart as it helped to show the bond Moth also had with their friends, it was really sweet to know that they're not just there for Heather. Nonetheless, it made this no longer feel like a grand finale.
Despite this, I still really enjoyed this read! Those final chapters were really something special. I will certainly be keeping an eye out for anything else Ms. Lavoie releases, especially anything set in this universe.

I dont usually include spoilers in my review, but there will be a mild one in review - But like spoilers that are in the description on the back of the book, so is that even a true spoiler?
I breezed through the first two books in this series easily. I love mothman, and found these books delightful. I picked up book 3, without reading the back (because i find there can be Spoiler), and the big Ole vampire steps in and claims Heather. And i put the book down. I just thought it was so frustrating to make this the conflict and i was annoyed. Don't get me wrong, i knew this book would have a happy ending. I just really, dont like plots like this.
So I put the book down for several months, and here we are. I picked it up again to finished off the series, and check another square off for bingo
And honestly, although i was incredibly frustrated with the concept of the plot... it was well done. It was very silly, the direction the story took, and i like that. I got super frustrated with Heather for making a deal with the fae - like that is the first thing anyone should be advised against when entering a fae world.
Over all this was a silly conclusion to the Mothman Arc. Im glad to finish this story, and knock if off my tbr.

What a ride.
The characters are over the top, the plot is completely off the rails, but everything's fine. The editing drove me batty (again!) and imma be real mad if Paige Lavoie does my man Magnus dirty in another book.
The only solution is to write a fanfiction first and accept it as canon.

Wow, what a swoon-worthy ending to this lovely trilogy! I have absolutely adored this series, and I am honored to have received an ARC of I’m Getting Married to Mothman in exchange for an honest review.
One thing Paige knows how to write extremely well, is an annoying ass man. You thought Chris from book one was annoying? Girl, get ready. Because the Vampire king is back and boy is he a big ol’ baby. I loved how this book took a twist and gave us an adventure that kept me on my toes, ready to see what would happen next! I’m so happy to we got to see Heather fully embrace herself and not hold back. We get to see a totally new side of her that is stronger than ever (if you know you know 😉). And we get a dual POV in this book!! Our boy Moth is going through it lol, but I loved seeing his perspective on things and his constant love and adoration for Heather. Though I did love this story and was rooting for Heather and Moth to find each other once again, I wanted more time with them just being a happy couple! The ending was the absolute best because we got to see just that. From their beautiful wedding, to the start of their married life together. I really hope Paige writes some short stories of these two so I can read more fluffy Mothman romance with a dash of spice!

ARC REVIEW!! To preface, I am not usually into girly pastel cupcake lovey dovey type books. I usually read super dark enemies to lovers with very morally grey MMC. HOWEVERRR I have a soft spot for Mothman, and this series has given a new life to that love of mine.
Overall for the series, really interesting take on Mothman that I've never heard before & didn't expect. Super sweet and lovable guy. FMC was not my cup of tea, but I think it's because I'm a little jealous I won't ever be as lovable and bubbly and optimistic as her. This last book brought it all full circle. HEA (:

I love this series so much. Once I start it’s so hard to put it down.
This was a perfect ending to Heather and Moths story while building on the side character's. I also LOVE a duel pov book. I truly can’t wait for more stories.

Honestly I can’t believe our time with Heather and Moth has come to an end! This was such a cute finale to a wonderful series. It took us on an adventure through more of Eclipsica and introduced us to more fabulous characters I hope we’ll get to see again. There’s a little less spice than in previous installments but that hardly mattered with all the action! Honestly this book made me SO excited for more stories from Eclipsica and felt like a perfect send off for our wonderful entry couple.

ARC REVIEW 📚
This is the final book of the "Mothman in Love" series, and I can't believe that it has come to an end. Here, we follow Heather and Moth, who are getting ready to be married, only for Heather to be kidnapped at her bachelorette party by Magnus, a vampire king, who is interested in making her his bride. With Heather determined to escape, and along with Moth and their friends working together to find his flame, it is up to them to put a stop to Magnus' plot and to make it in time for the royal wedding.
While the story started off strong, the pacing of the plot became relatively slow after Heather's abduction, and parts of it bore similarities to the first book, which affected how invested I was in the story. Despite this, the author did well in expanding worldbuilding. It was interesting to learn more about the other fae realms and their politics, as well as meet new characters that belonged to these places.
As for the main characters, Heather showed some character development in this story. Although she was continuously assertive and firm with her boundaries, due to the pacing of the plot, it hindered her ability to shine fully, and she was only able to do so at the climatic point of the story. Whereas for Moth, he showed positive changes in how he socialized and cooperated with the other characters, but still retained his original qualities as a dark and possessive person. For the new characters, I don't have much sympathy for Magnus' actions and behaviors despite his background, and did not find his personality likable. Gil, on the other hand, was the most interesting side character. He was a respectful and honorable gentleman, and served as a great addition to the story. I look forward to reading his book in the future! He definitely deserves a chance in romance. Finally, the smut was relatively light yet passionate.
I WOULD RECOMMEND IF 📒
If you're looking for a cozy, cryptid romance with featured themes such as "forced proximity," "abduction," "marriage," "monster royalty," "pr!mal play (chasing)," "touch her and d!e," "found family/family reunited," "portal magic," and "HEA," then this is the book for you.

With Heather determined to escape, and along with Moth and their friends working together to find his flame, it is up to them to put a stop to Magnus' plot and to make it in time for the royal wedding.
While the story started off strong, the pacing of the plot became relatively slow after Heather's abduction, and parts of it bore similarities to the first book, which affected how invested I was in the story. Despite this, the author did well in expanding worldbuilding. It was interesting to learn more about the other fae realms and their politics, as well as meet new characters that belonged to these places.
As for the main characters, Heather showed some character development in this story. Although she was continuously assertive and firm with her boundaries, due to the pacing of the plot, it hindered her ability to shine fully, and she was only able to do so at the climatic point of the story. Whereas for Moth, he showed positive changes in how he socialized and cooperated with the other characters, but still retained his original qualities as a dark and possessive person. For the new characters, I don't have much sympathy for Magnus' actions and behaviors despite his background, and did not find his personality likable. Gil, on the other hand, was the most interesting side character. He was a respectful and honorable gentleman, and served as a great addition to the story. I look forward to reading his book in the future! He definitely deserves a chance in romance. Finally, the smut was relatively light yet passionate.

If you're looking for a cozy, cryptid romance with featured themes such as "forced proximity," "abduction," "marriage," "monster royalty," "pr!mal play (chasing)," "touch her and d!e," "found family/family reunited," "portal magic," and "HEA," then this is the book for you.

This is the final book in Paige Lavoie’s Mothman in Love series, which has been a journey since I started it back in October 2023. The series as a whole is full of cozy and cute romantic moments and the titles of each book speak for themselves.
In this final book we’re following Heather as she prepares for her wedding. But when she is kidnapped through a portal at her bachelorette party, she is determined to not be a damsel and works on her escape plan. Meanwhile, Moth is ready to be married to her, but is shaken with her missing and his own past memories of his home being foggy. He has to work with his friends and his future mother-in-law to find his bride in time for their wedding.
I went into this book very blind because I was not expecting her to be kidnapped within the first two chapters. I only thought this was going to be their wedding book, which totally makes sense that it is not because then there would be no real plot.
Overall, I enjoyed this book while I was reading it and was glad to be back with Moth & Heather. These books are campy and cozy, while not being too serious. If you’re looking for an intro to monster romance, this could be a good place to start. We also got introduced to the character we will be following in her next series, which means that there will be more stories set in the world of Eclipsica which is great because I think this is a large world that could be explored for multiple series. I’m giving this one 3.5 stars. It was enjoyable enough while I read it and I look forward to reading more from Paige. I have now read all of her books that are currently out and will continue to pick up more as she releases them.

Our beloved human(ish) ex-influencer finds herself kidnapped by a lonely vampire who drastically misread the room. The Eclipsica gang and the humans closest to Heather form a search and rescue team while Heather tries her own methods to get back to Moth. Moth is a wonderful partner and I love
how much he cares for Heather and the ways he tells and shows her. I'd love to read about Moth's adventures but if I'm being honest, I personally have no interest in the aspect of their future.
I know Magnus is supposed to be a villain here but I mostly just felt bad for him. I'm obviously team "Moth and Heather forever!" and yes, his methods are definitely questionable. At the same time, though... the poor guy just wants to be loved and doesn't seem to have many social skills that would help him find it in a normal way. (#relatable) I was hoping that Heather's would be successful.
It sounds like we might get a book about Gil and his lost love, which I'm definitely excited for. Maybe one (or multiple) of Gil's brothers will end up with Holly, too? There are definitely still a few more tales from Eclipsica that could be told and if they get written, I'll be reading them!.

This third and final part of the Mothman trilogy is, admittedly, better than the first two books — but to be fair, it couldn’t really get much worse. The stakes remain surprisingly low, and despite some improvements, the story is still riddled with inconsistencies that pulled me out of the plot again and again.
For example, the dog can apparently open portals on his own now, since he managed to return from the fae realm and alert Mothman. Then there’s Mothman taking the dog on a “walk” lasting more than 24 hours — something any normal person would worry about, but our influencer heroine barely reacts. These kinds of contradictions appear throughout the book.
There is some actual character development for the female main character this time. After two books of being mostly a damsel in distress, she finally gets to take action during her kidnapping and works on freeing herself — and honestly, that was refreshing to see.
That said, the pacing is still jumpy, the plot has holes, and the worldbuilding remains underdeveloped. The story also suddenly switches to a dual point of view after two books written entirely from a single POV. It feels like this third book was written at a later stage in the author’s life — the writing style is noticeably more mature — but it also makes the trilogy feel inconsistent as a whole.
Overall, the content of all three books could have easily been condensed into one much stronger novel. Even though this installment shows improvement, I still can’t recommend the trilogy unless you specifically enjoy inconsistent worldbuilding and chaotic storytelling.

It’s wedding time! This is the third and final book in the Mothman in Love series and it’s a doozy. A notable difference this time around is the addition of Moth’s POV.
Heather’s bachelorette party takes a turn when she’s kidnapped by a vampire king (Magnus) who has taken an interest in her. He intends to marry her and will seemingly stop at nothing. It’s up to Moth (with the help of friends and family) to rescue his flame.
This book has a wildly different feel than the first two books. Although I absolutely loved the addition of Moth’s narration, I wasn’t super into the plot. A 'me' issue for sure as I’m more into magical realism if I pick up the fantasy genre (which was prominent in the first book, less so in the second) rather than full-on fantasy. I still enjoyed visiting with these characters again. I was also happy to see more involvement with the side characters as well. (Makes me wonder if there will be a spin-off series in the future?)

My favorite book so far in this series. I was surprised and happy for the chapters told from Moths POV. I really liked seeing Heathers growth as a character too. The author did a fabulous job concluding Heather and Moths love story…for now. I hope for more stories from this universe. I really enjoyed this book. The writing flowed so well. I could really tell how the author’s writing craft has blossomed. I was so engaged in this story. I wanted to know what was happening next with each twist and turn in the Plot. I fell in love with the new character Gil and don’t get me started on my now favorite, Magnus-the pathetic vampire king. I have this weird desire for Magnus to be set up with Heather’s mom. Weird I know. More Magnus please. I'm here for good story telling, suspense and mystery. Personally, not a fan of spice and was happy to only find 3 spicy scenes. To sum up: All around a fantastic romatasy.
