So far much more balanced than the average textbook. I'm learning a lot and finally connecting a lot of history dots from other things I've read.
I did finish and found it fascinating. My point of view on several presidents has changed somewhat (since in high school years ago the 20th century was covered exactly once, while we studied George Washington and the revolution two or three times in elementary school).
