Another webcomic, and I've managed to catch up!

The humour is prevalent in this one- seriously, it had me giggling so much. It's about some kids (a new one), and a teacher, and supernatural/paranormal ('paranatural') stuff that they fight against, combined with a bunch of people wanting to kill the new kid because he's new and he may have landed on one of the school bully's face using his scooter.

Johnny's actually nice, if you ignore the part where he steals and beats Max up. Johnny's cool.

Also it takes typical paranatural tropes and twists them and it's done hilariously. Also, good family dynamic and stuff. *Thumbs up*

Rating this webcomic on a scale of yes to no: YES.

Paranatural is my all-time favorite webcomic. The beginning pages are a bit rough, but keep in mind that it's been running for years without any revision to former submissions (that I'm aware of). You can watch Zack's style evolve, take true shape, gain life with the characters who shed their awkward introductions into fully fleshed out little gremlins. I've laughed out loud in the same chapters that edged me close to tears. It's fabulous, and I'm so glad I get to see it grow.

Paranatural is an absolutely fantastic story about friendship, ghosts and middle school. It strikes the perfect balance between being unbearably hilarious while also digging deep into morality, spooky supernatural plotlines, and genuine character relationships. Truly one of my favourite stories ever, and still as good as it was when I first started reading it years ago.

A favorite of mine! I started reading it around 2018 and stopped about a year later; but I picked it up at the beginning of the week and read through all 5 chapters in what, 3 days?

I absolutely love the lore that's gradually being given to the reader, and all the character designs, wether human or specters, are an absolute bop.

Plus, this comic features great diversity that doesnt feel forced at all!

I like that characters are allowed flawed and emotional, while the comic manages to keep an overall light hearted and comedic tones.

The artstyle is a bit rough at first but it polishes though the pages, and I did I say how much I love the character designs in this??

This comic is hilarious and complex. The art slowly improves as the story continues. Id reccommend this to anyone who enjoys imagining the supernatural.

À funny and over-the-top fantasy webcomic that constantly deconstructs and make fun of the tropes of urban fantasy. With a nice and expressive cartoon style that evolves over time, it lends itself to a charming and often plain weird story with eccentric characters. It is exiting, surreal, has some eastern elements, it's diverse and it got one of the funniest bullies ever.

I'm all caught up (chapter 6, page 8). It's been a pure pleasure to see not just the art style change throughout the comic about also the character developments. I can't get enough of the humor and quirky characters. When I first started reading I had no idea that I wouldn't just be laughing, but deeply invested in the emotional wellbeing of the characters and hanging on to the edge of my seat for the plot and so impressed by the action scenes.
