I wanna start this off by saying I’ve read a lotta books. A lot. I want to say that not to toot my own horn but to make a point when I say: This is so far the only book I’ve ever read, that successfully conveys a coherent and satisfactorily written story regarding god like powers and being at the very top of a power structure in a series. So far the only book I’ve read.
That is in my mind an unbelievably incredible achievement.
As for the review of the book: Pretty darned good. I’d say like 9/10 There were a few rough patches early on, and a time or two when mc needed a hit with the ol’ clue by four, but by and large after the first 1/3 things went smoothly and developed great. Long story short this was a freaking amazing book.
Ugh. Time travel shenanigans are always headache inducing.
It took me ten books, but I wonder if the author got the protag's friend's names (Dean and Sam) from the TV Series Supernatural?
This novel was a big boy. I can't remember if previous books in the series was this chunky, but this did take a while to complete. I wonder if this is the last book in the series.
Ten would be a good place to stop. I just hope the author don't follow others in this "multiverse meme", where all the series are connected.
If this is the end, that would be two series completed. I wonder what the author will write next.
I really enjoyed Theo’s adventures all these years and I do hope you come back especially with some Adventures of the kids, but honestly a little spoiler

all the alternate reality stuff gets confusing after awhile and kinda really confused me with all the reality/time portal jumps, it was done well with the time weavers and primordial world arcs, but with how rushed the ending is, it’s just feels very eh and not a exciting mystery discovered more like oh I guess that makes sense?
All the time traveling and the alternate timelines and all that bollocks was starting to get mega confusing. And really? MC is on the hunt for a missing Sam and Dean? Again? Weren't they missing like 2 books ago?
Otherwise, this is an excellent series. I really enjoyed it from start to finish. The MC is highly likable, and the power progression is godly (literally). And hey, it was nice that the Hearthwood nation wasn't attacked in this book (for once).
I wasn't sure how things were going to go with the final book. I sort of assumed the majority would be fighting the Cult and once they were defeated, a nice little epilogue of Theo and company settling down. That's sort of what we get, but with so much more and a lot of wibbly-wobbly time-travel and alternate universes as well. A very satisfying conclusion to an epic series.
I will be the first to admit that I could probably go without reading another book/series that involves time travel/parallel universes cause it can get damn confusing but Marvin Knight, you did a damn good job at it! Great ending to the series. Maybe a bit convoluted, but I still enjoyed the heck out of it!
Since this book was described as the end of the series, I was hoping for more of a wrap up. Instead, I was left with a lot of questions and felt there was a lot left unexplained. I'm hoping that there is more coming, perhaps as a spin off series.
A mostly fitting end to a long but yet bitterly short series
I'll start by saying I don't care for the cultivation genre or grinding in general but I was addicted to this series in the first 5 chapters of Volume 1 however the ending although mostly satisfying still left a few questions to be answered that could have been done if the book was extended by a few more chapters finalizing his return to the world and repairing his relationships with his family and friends
