Three reclusive brothers, two dark secrets, and a curious golden-haired woman who’s the key to unlocking their destiny.

When a midnight call takes me to a mysterious house in a deep, dark wood, I find a forbidden secret behind a closed door that could be the key to unlocking my darkest desires. But the imposing, intense, handsome triplets there have bigger plans for me and an even bigger secret.

When I uncover their room of pleasure and punishment, I want to give myself over to experiences I’ve only ever imagined.

Robert Bjorn is calm, brooding, and enigmatic. With whiskey eyes and lips that never smile, his fantasies perfectly match mine, but he wants more than I’m willing to give.

Evan Bjorn is unrestrained and funny, the lightness to his brothers’ stoic reserve. He takes nothing seriously except his desire to make me theirs.

Hunter Bjorn is the eldest and fiercest. He eyes me with feral hunger and speaks in riddles that drive me insane. But his protectiveness makes me feel safe in a world suddenly filled with peril.

But when I discover they’ve been hiding their true natures, I’m faced with a choice.

Return to my life, which is now more dangerous than I could ever have imagined, or make a deal with three huge bear-men who believe I’m their fated mate.

Will anything ever be just right again?

This is a BDSM modern fairy tale retelling of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears,” featuring three bear shifters and their very curious, fated mate!

Love Stephanie Brother

It's been a long while since I've read Stephanie's books, I binge read probably 20 of her titles some time ago. It felt sooo good jumping back into her books again and what a book to read!
Can't say I've read Bear shifters before, but I'm here for it. And a Goldilocks and the Three Bears retelling into a smut book? Yep. Not even sorry that I loved it!
P.S. Please keep writing more of these!

I'm finally letting lose my three huge, rugged, sexy bears! Are you ready for Hunter, Robert and Evan?

In case you're new to paranormal romance, here's some info about what to expect from SHARED BY THE BEARS A PARANORMAL BEAR SHIFTER REVERSE HAREM ROMANCE by Stephanie Brother :

🐾

3 huge, sexy men who happen to be able to turn into giant, sometimes ferocious, sometimes gentle brown bears

🐾
1 very growly alpha

🐾
1 inquisitive heroine who discovers she's their fated mate

🐾
Some kinky, sexy times (don't ask me why I thought that men who are bears would also have a secret sex room in their ancestral mansion!!!)

🐾
Love, drama, and the patter of tiny bear feet!

I hope you'll give it a try, and even more, I hope you'll fall in love with Goldie and her three bears. They really are good men who can tear an enemy limb from limb—just the way we like our book boyfriends!

Stephanie Brother has delivered again!! For her first-ever dive into paranormal reverse harem romances, she has outdone herself and risen to the top as an author. Three hot as sin brothers and an amazing female coming together for a love so fierce, they would do anything to bring it to life. From the beginning, I was drawn in and could picture Hunter, Evan and Robert. Their personalities complement each other, turning three individuals into one force to be reckoned with. Goldie brings out the best in them and they bring out the best in her. The writing was so vivid I was able to picture everything happening, just like watching a movie. Don’t miss out on this story! It’s hot, steamy, takes you on a roller coaster ride, and what an amazing ride it is!!

Everything about this book was a disappointment and a letdown.
In my opinion the author couldn’t pull off what needed to be pulled off. She said that this was once a short story that she made into a book and I feel like it should’ve stayed a short story.
It started off with so much potential and promise and it just kept going down the hill from there.
The idea of the story was very cool, especially with the BDSM twist to it.
When she goes home with him for the first time and they’re in his version of a red room that is filled to the brim with anything that you could need and want fora Dom/ Sub relationship, I got really excited for all the potential hotness that could happen. I felt like that first scene was kind of lacking, but it was OK. And that was pretty much the entire end of anything sexy or BDSM for the rest of the book.
After that, she decides she doesn’t want to have sex with any of her three fated mates and doesn’t have sex with them for another month, even though she lives with them and dates them.
She becomes the most annoying infuriating, entitled, unlikable, and odious character ever. I wanted to throw my phone at the wall multiple times with how annoyed I was with her.
It takes till 75% in the book for something to happen and even then after it, it’s just boring even the epilogue was fucking boring.
The sex scenes are pretty much nonexistent and even though they’re supposed to be BDSM they’re so boring and predictable. I don’t even feel like you could call it BDSM.
The back story is so lame. Nothing really happens at all. There’s only one tiny altercation and that’s it.
This bitch is so ungrateful it’s unreal.
Her fated mates offer her the world, to be in a relationship with all three of them have twins or triplets of their own to take care of all of them and the home, which is such a beautiful offer and just a beautiful life to be proud of. But not for this ungrateful bitch, she says that none of that could be fulfilling and she needs to be an independent woman, so what does she choose? She chooses to sell sex toys online, yeah cause that makes you feel fulfilled in life not being a mother and a mate to three beautiful men who love you.
It’s this whole disgusting narrative nowadays that being a mother and a wife isn’t good enough or fulfilling enough no, you have to go do something like sell sex toys online to find joy and fulfillment in life. What a crock of shit. It was just so cringe and this whole story was just disappointing .

The Light To Their Darkness

I have no doubt that Stephanie could write about anything & it would be amazingly good, and her direction into the paranormal, with this newest story, shows that to be very true! If you’ve ever wanted a fascinating retelling of Goldilocks & the 3 Bears, then your wait is finally over because this was PERFECTION! While it was a retelling, and you definitely could see the similarities, it still held an originality & uniqueness that Stephanie blended seamlessly into the fairytale. Once I started reading, I was instantly drawn into the story, and the characters solidified my unwavering attention until I finally got to see them get their HEA (which I enjoyed seeing played out over the last few chapters instead of just 1 or 2). I enjoyed the element of danger that was added due to the ongoing rivalry with the wolves, and how that extended to the wolves wanting go get back at the bears by going after Goldie. Goldie was the perfect mate for 3 bears. She craved to give the submission that their dominance craved, and yet she was sassy, strong willed & independent enough to be able to stand up for herself when their animal instincts tried to take over. Although there were definitely times when she was quite thankful for those animal instincts 🍆👀👀👀😈🔥 There was a touch of reality & believability where Goldie’s reactions were concerned, and I loved that she didn’t allow herself to get caught up in the pull of her fated mates…although they were pretty awesome. Hunter was arrogance & intensity personified, but also loyal, protective & ALL alpha. Robert was her comfort zone & her peace. Always mindful of how she was feeling, and making sure she had everything she needed, in all ways. Ethan was laughter & brought a lightness to her heart. He could be serious when needed, but he instinctively helped balance out the rough edges & sharp corners of his brothers’ personalities. And OMG….that little twist at the end, in the form of Goldie’s dreams, was BRILLIANT, and now I need that story too 😂 I’m really hoping that was a hint from Stephanie of something she has waiting for us in the future 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 I truly hope Stephanie will give us LOTS more PNR stories, because this one just pushed all the right buttons for me, and I would love to see more from her now 😉🫣❤️

While the Goldilocks and the Three Bears references were tedious at times, I enjoyed this book overall. I am all for sneaking in a reference here and there, but it got to be a bit much - I would be getting into the story and then another fairytale reference would pull me right back out again. That said, I thought the characters had well developed personalities, the conflict was realistic both within the family and the outside danger, and I love that their HEA didn’t start at the very end. They bonded around the 75% mark.

Goldie is a locksmith, and when she takes an emergency work call in the middle of the night one night, she unknowingly meets the three men who will change her life forever. She is a human, and in this world humans don’t know that shifters exist, and they certainly don’t believe in fated mates. That said, she feels a pull to these brothers that she can’t explain. The men - Hunter, Robert, and Evan know right away that she is meant to be theirs. However they disagree on how and when to reveal their secrets, and with danger lurking outside their home they will need to do it fast to keep her safe.

✔️MFMM why choose
✔️bear shifters
✔️fated mates
✔️BDSM
✔️pregnancy and birth on page
✔️no 3rd act breakup

I freaking loved this book! Stephanie, you rock!! I love supernatural books. And this was Stephanie's 1st shot at writing a supernatural book.
Once I started reading it I found it a bit odd. Why would 3 huge men need a locksmith? Ha Ha! But whatever, I loved all 3 men who are also bears. Hunter is the serious alpha who is the oldest. Robert is the middle son and calm. Evan is the youngest of the triplets and finds the humor in everything.
When Hunter 1st came into the story he was so serious due to his being the alpha. He was by the book needed to follow in his ancestors footsteps. Sort of a caveman dragging his cave woman behind him. As soon as he saw and smelled Goldie he knew she was their mate.
I loved the relationship between all of them the further I got into the book. I couldn't put this book down. It was definitely exciting with the wolves being the enemy of the bears. Constantly being on edge. I absolutely loved the last 5 or 6 chapters. Most books don't really go into having children and how they affect everyone. I gotta say, I do love to see a huge man holding a baby.
Great, great job Stephanie! I cannot wait for more supernatural books from you!

I usually love Stephanie's work, but I struggled to get into this one.

The frequent callbacks to the original fairytale felt a little unnecessary. I don't mind some mention, but having the fairytale practically spoon-fed to me made the actual story feel disjointed. As I was getting into the story, there'd be a sort of segue to the fairytale to point out how alike the story was to it.

The relationship between Goldie and her three bears checked all the typical boxes that you would expect but didn't seem to do much else. To me, I ran down the checklist of a paranormal shifter romance, but I didn't get much development or characterization outside of that. I wanted to feel more for the characters and really get behind their relationship instead of ticking off mental boxes. It didn't feel concrete and deep to me like I wanted it to.

This wasn't a bad story by any means; it just didn't blow me away. I think I'll stick to her other works if anything further comes out in this universe and keep reading my way through her other series.

Absolutely loved this 💕

This story was so 😩 I absolutely loved it. Especially with the Goldilocks retelling…well kind of 😂

Goldie is a locksmith who is tasked with helping Robert fix some locks in his home. But an immediate attraction between them has her thinking of him constantly, especially when she finds out he is a triplet & the other two are equally as drool worthy.

When the triplets keep showing up near her she can’t help but feel the pull to them. After her shop is torched, she stays with them so they can keep her safe.

Eventually she realizes that she feels the pull they feel & she can’t deny it any longer. Once she finally gives in to it, their mating happens quickly.

The last few chapters are a summary of sorts of what happens after the mating. Between them meeting her parents, and it not going well, to then meeting her best friend Rosie, to finding out she’s pregnant & the delivery.

I loved the relationship between Goldie & her three bears & I loved the HEA they had at the end, definitely loved that epilogue.

Amazing job!

Goldie finds herself in her own fairytale with 3 Bear Shifters. Owning her own locksmith business, she makes a house call where she meets the Bjorn triplets, Robert, Hunter and Evan. Fate will have her way when she puts Goldie in the path of these three, they realize quickly that they all share the same kinks and desires but trust doesn't come easy for Goldie. Where the Bjorn brothers have known their whole lives that they have a fated mate, Goldie is shocked to discover that Bears and Wolf Shifters exist, let alone that she may be the fated mate they've been waiting for

I like this book. It's well written and has a good storyline. The author did a good job of providing detail that allows you to visualize and bring the store to life in your mind's eye.

I was luckily enough to receive an ARC for this book and it did not disappoint. It follows Goldie and her chance encounter with the Bjorn brothers, Robert, Hunter and Evan. They all have their own individual personalities. She is instantly attracted to them, especially Robert. After bumping into them multiple times things develop and she find out the danger that she is in. They reveal themselves to be Bear Shifters and that she is their mate. The book follows their developing relationship and how Goldie deals with their secret. It is a fantastic read and insanely hot. The chemistry between them is palpable and Goldie is finally able to explore a side of her sexuality that she thought was taboo (BDSM). This is a definite must read.

Goldie is a locksmith that receives a call late at night from the Bjorn brothers. Upon arriving she meets Robert, Hunter, and Evan. Being the Alpha, Hunter intimidates her and makes her cautious. However, the triplets immediately recognize that Goldie is their fated mate that they have been looking for. However, Goldie has a harder time understanding how that could be and takes time to come to that understanding. Discovering that the brothers share the same kinks as her, Goldie begins to slowly open up to Robert and Evan. Taking more time with Hunter as he is still very intense. Throughout their journey there are threats, and ups and downs to get them on the right track with their relationship. This was the first paranormal/ shifter book I've ever read, and Stephanie didn't disappoint!

There is just something enticing about doing something that even hints at a taboo that is so enticing. I am not into BDSM, but I see the appeal. It will require a LOT of trust to get into this kind of relationship with anyone, what more, any THREE!

I love shifter romances, so for Stephanie Brother to foray into this niche was intriguing to me. Bears are not known as monogamous animals but I guess it works for a reverse harem situation, just beware of the Alpha, as they tend to be possessive, no matter what kind of animal they are. :)

I'm not a fan of inflicting or receiving pain, in general, but that aside, I think Stephanie did a bang-up job in writing a shifter romance. Great work!

Loved It!

Goldie is a locksmith with an obsession with locks and kink. Of which,  she never imagines she'll meet someone with her same interests.  When she's called on a job late one night,  she might have finally found someone that does.

I love this author, but wasn't sure how her first foray into shifter books, updated fairy tales and bdsm, was going to go. The beginning had me a little worried it would be an insta-love I couldn't buy into.  I should've known I could trust her to do these genres justice.  I devoured the book and couldn't stop reading it once I started.

I highly recommend for those that like these genres.

Brother Bears grrr, lucky Goldie

First, thank you for the Spotify play list, that was incorporated in the story. I loved that extra.
Goldie, who loves locks, ha. She got a call out in the middle of the night. Who knew she was about to meet three huge men Robert,Evan and Hunter.
This was a great shìfter book, I couldn't put it down. I had to read it straight through. I've read several re-telling of fairy tales, but they never quiet hit the spot.
Stephanie makes her characters feel like you know them. It's more reality than fantasy .
Which pulls you in. Loved the bears, even Hunter. More please.

Epic

Let me just say…WOW! This was such a departure from her typical books and I have to admit I was a little skeptical before starting BUT this book was amazing! The storyline was well thought through ( although I wish there had been a callback to the names from her mother’s dream when her parents met them since her mother claimed she couldn’t remember what their names were in the dream). I am so looking forward to the next book in this series! Oh and since some of you hoochie mamas just want to know the spice rating lol, I’d give it a solid 3.5/5 but I honestly thought there was the exact right amount of smut for the storyline.

This is my kind of fairytale!! Goldie is oblivious to what she is walking into but throws caution to the wind and follows her desires. So awesome seeing a strong female take command of her life and take what she wants. You would never know paranormal is not Stephanie’s normal trope as this book is incredible. Lots of chemistry balanced out with an action packed story line. The brothers compliment each other perfectly and together they are invincible. I devoured this book. Let’s hope it’s not the last of this trope from Stephanie!!

Started strong frizzled quickly.

Fairytale retellings are a hard one for me. I think they flow better when the author isn’t continually referencing the source material. We get that this is your take on the story, you don’t have to keep reminding us the original one exists. Goldie’s parents and their attitudes were also unnecessary. Don’t want to deal with her family? Kill them off. Want them to be a plot device? Actually make them critical to the story. This book lacks the maturity that her inked beasts series has. Too much angst for me.

Kinks/Tropes: fairytale retelling (Goldilocks and the Three Bears) bear shifters, mfmm, group scene, bondage, DP, anal, toys, dom/sub, masochism, dirty talk, pregnancy (with near death birth on page)

Thoughts:

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by this author, and I enjoyed the multiple love series I read. This book just left me wanting and not in a good way. Everything was smoothed over too easy and felt surface level. Where was Hunter’s groveling?

Wouldn’t reread honestly.

Goldilocks or Goldie for short, has her own business as a locksmith. One dark night, she is called out to change the locks where someone has broken in. This will be her first introduction to three gorgeous men, otherwise known as bear shifters. The three men are triplets and will claim that she is their fated mate. OMG, this story was amazing. Such a great first paranormal romance from this author. Hopefully she will write more in this genre.

Goldilocks and The Three Bears retelling, but RH style, with triplet bear shifters!!
I love how the author added some darker elements to the story. It kept me interested to the end.
There was danger, some action, steamy scenes, and some drama.
I think Goldie was the perfect fit for the brothers and visa versa.

While PNR isn't the usual books this author writes, I think she did a great job with this one!!!
I loved it!

What a great story. I enjoyed reading about Goldie and her 3 bears Hunter, Robert and Evan. The inserts of the actual fairytale gave it a bit of nostalgia and was whimsical feeling. I enjoyed the storyline and the steaminess of it. It had the right amount of heat to go with a slightly suspenseful thought provoking storyline. I highly recommend this book if you like fairytales with a BDSM and RH feel to them.

The storyline was amazing and it was so well written. These characters were fantastic and I felt like I truly knew them. They were absolutely captivating! Loved how this story played out! Such an interesting and engaging read and I highly recommend! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book

Triplet bear shifters have dreamt of their fated mate for years. Goldie longs for a family and connection, but she also longs for dominance. When the triplets need a locksmith, Goldie is the only one in town. That job sets their fated love in motion. These bears are dominant and desperate for cubs, but Goldie isn’t sold on the idea of 3 husbands that are bears. When their union does happen, it’s everything and more than any of the four could have dreamed.

Porridge, please

Goldie, the locksmith, is so not content with her life. She loves her business but her personal life is lacking until she goes on a job and finds way more than she bargained for in the guise of 3 brothers who may be more than they seem but then shoo her away. Talk about weird, but still, she is drawn to them. Fate and destiny and fairytales abound in this shifter RH.

This is a very well written Goldie and the Three Bears Retelling! It was sexy with their shared bdsm kinks and fun with our mmc’s being bear shifters! We have our bear triplets Hunter, Robert and Evan who meet their mate Goldie when she comes to fix locks that were vandalized in their house. At first I was like ugh Hunters a douche and Robert lied to his brothers that’s not cool but than it gets a lot better once she finds out about them being bear shifters!!

Goldie and the three bears

It was a good read. Locksmith Goldie has wanted fairytales her whole life. Loves hearing her mom’s dreams and asked for the story a lot but her mom wasn’t that mom. She was alone and went on a call and met the triplets brothers and it was destiny she was their mate. I don’t feel anything got closure- her parents, the wolves, the other bears. There is separate spice and some together. It was sweet love story and happy ending.

While I enjoyed the story and fairytale retelling, there were a lot of conflicts and arcs that could have been followed through or deepened but were just glossed over. The wolf pack conflict was never truly resolved in the book, and while I know it's partly to leave open for another book, this one feels unfinished. However, I liked the work the MMCs put in to prove themselves to Goldie, and their relationship arc was worth the read.
