This is the third and final book in the Driftwood Key Beach Series. You definitely have to read them in order to completely understand the storyline. This series is a clean fiction with some romance.
In each book we have watched the Steele family go through heart breaking, loss, remembering the past, finding a future, a lot of self discovery and so much more. Jessica had never dreamed that the amazing life she had would suddenly turn upside down and it would take going back to this small Florida place in order to settle everything including who she was. Now would her and Cliff be able to work through everything to discover love again? How about Jess’s oldest daughter Liberty and her husband Chase, would renewing their vows take them a step closer to having a family through adoption? Middle daughter Anthem had the chance of a lifetime in her music career but would she be able to convince Zara to leave Driftwood Key? Youngest Glory going into her senior high school year, would she be able to work through her heartbreak and find true friends? Would the house that had become a family home be able to survive the incoming major storm? Then there was Jess’s niece Justine who was getting really close to her due date, would she make it past that storm and be able to handle it all?
Throughout the series Clara has been able to capture and hold our attention completely. Her words keep you wanting to read well past your bedtime because you want to find out what happens. While I am glad the series came to an end, a part of me had hoped just maybe one more, just so we could be transported to this amazing place called Driftwood Key.

The Steele women are strong, loving and put family first. Jess has her daughters staying in Driftwood Key, in a home she inherited. The more time they spend there the more it feels like home. Jess has her niece, Justine who’s pregnant staying too. As they struggle with hurricanes, her children are making decisions about their future, Jess struggling to keep her feelings in check with Clint, who has always had a crush on her, and the birth of her great niece during the one of the hurricanes. Can her daughter and son-in-law find a way to have a family, like fostering and adoptions? Can her artist daughter finally make a success out of her song writing and singing? Will her youngest want to stay there and finish high school, especially since it’s her senior year? Will Justine stay there after she has her baby or will she move to her father’s house? Will Jess finally have her happily ever after? So much going on but worth every turn of the page. Each one will have to decide what is right for them. The characters are wonderful. Clara Palms has you rooting for each and every one of them. The series is awesome. Worth the read.

This series gets better and better. Reading this book was like getting a letter from home that catches you up on the happenings with family, friends and the town of Driftwood Key. The characters are well developed and have such depth to them. Jess and Clint are still a thing but will they be together as a couple or friends? Liberty and Chase renewed their vows will their dreams of a family happen? Anthem and Zara love to write and sing will they get their chance? Justine is pregnant how will having a baby impact her quiet life? Glory is coming along with friends so what will life be like for her in the Keys? And of course there is Mary and her family and all their interactions. You will be longing for the next book as soon as you finish this one. Can’t wait to see what happens next. 5+ stars.

Book three and the final book in the Driftwood Key Beach Reads and it was a well written, entertaining read that ticked the boxes for me. One of the things that I appreciate about Ms. Palms stories are that the writing is was descriptive, and I found myself transported to the Florida Keys as I read.
If you haven’t read the previous books, then STOP as these books must be read in order. With the revelations from the previous books, I was excited to see what
Ms. Palms had in store for Jessica and her family. Will all their dreams come true?
Questions are answered and all is finally revealed. Promises In The Sand is an emotional read that had me in tears as well as smiling.

This was a satisfying conclusion to a lovely series of books. If you enjoy clean sweet romance and you value family, this is definitely the book (and series) for you. All the main characters' story lines are wrapped up in a wonderful bow. It's really obvious that Clint is made for Jess, and she really deserves this amazing man in her life. The whole family is so happy that you feel the same way once the book is done (I love how Clint questions whether it's the calm before the storm.) I love this author's writing style and storytelling technique, so I can't wait to see what other stories she publishes.

I Absolutely loved this series and book 3, Promises in the Sand, was everything a final book should be. It has surprises, laughs, worries and lots of love. Jess and the girls are still overcoming life’s changes to all their lives. They deal with unexpected joys, hurricanes, a few regrets and so much more. But all is done with pure love and family values.
I can’t recommend this homesome, romantic beach series enough. Just please remember the 3 books are not standalones and must be read in order. Grab up all 3 now, you won’t be sorry.

I absolutely love this series! Driftwood Key beach reads series is fantastic! Jess and her girls are all dealing with their life changes and are doing pretty well. Will Jess and Clint work out together or just be friends? This book tugged at my heartstrings and touched me so much. They have a beautiful family, by both birth and by choice. They’re building an amazing life in Driftwood Key. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

The Steele women all show what they are made of in this third book in the Driftwood Key series. They go through a tropical storm not completely knowing how to prepare for it. That is followed by a full hurricane (this time very much prepared)! Once again Ms Palms keeps us in suspense with the many happenings with each member of Jess’s family and with Jess. This book brings fulfillment into each of their lives in ways we didn’t expect. You will enjoy the whole series on the beach with the Steele family!

Loved reading this series, and keeping up with Jess and her family, and the community of Driftwood Key. You’ll love it too! Promises in the Sand is a beautiful conclusion to the Driftwood Key Beach series. I loved this so much. There is so much heart and soul in this that gives you all those giant heart squeezes you are looking for. Jess and her girls finally have everything falling into place. Family is everything and I love how everything is full circle. Jess finally sees the signs that's it's okay to move on and you will just love every step she takes. Anthem has her dreams finally coming true. Glory finds what she has been missing. Liberty will just give you smiles. I love all the growth and togetherness these ladies are pulled into. My heart is happy and full. I could not put this down. You need to read this entire series today.

This is the third book in this amazing series, and Jess and her family have finally found a place to call home, but a hurricane is threatening to destroy everything they have built together. This is a well written easy to read, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, secrets, togetherness, heartbreak, unexpected bonds, survival, humor, witty banter, personal growth, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and heartwarming story, which pulls at the heartstrings throughout.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This is the third book in the Driftwood Key Beach Reads series, and it is not a standalone. Jessica and her family are back, and they each have some obstacles to work through. It is a roller coaster of emotions that take readers on a wonderful journey. Jessica is dealing with a rekindled romance with Clint and they are just perfect for each other. Jessica’s daughters prove that they are cut from the same tough cloth as their mother in their strength and resiliency. The beauty of this book is the love and kindess of the characters emphasizing their strong familial bonds as they boldly make the best decisions to move them forward in their lives. I love this series and cannot wait for more.

I love my visits to Driftwood Key and I was excited to see how the final book in the series would pan out ….well this book did not disappoint, it was everything I have come to expect from the very talented Ms Palms.
The final book in the series was an emotional read but it was also entertaining and it was wonderful to see Jessica and her family get the HEA they all deserved. This is a beautifully written series that I highly recommend to all romance lovers.

What a perfect ending to a beautiful series! I've loved everything about it. Jess Steele and her amazing daughters brought so much love and light to my heart. I haven't read a series that uplifted my soul in a very long time. Promises in the Sand is the final.book I'm the series so please read them in order. I cried pretty much through this entire book. Your heartstrings will be tugged and your smile will be wide when you read it. Love the strong independence of these women emphasized...as well as the bond of family(including the family we choose)

Promises in the Sand is the 3rd and final book in the Driftwood Keys series. This series is absolutely perfect if you love clean romance novels or need a smut detox. All of the characters and their stories are very well written with a lot of detail that makes you feel like you’re there. I absolutely loved the fact that I could imagine the house and all its old beauty. I couldn’t imagine going through everything Jess has went through, but she’s so strong. I love how close everyone is and are always willing to lend a helping hand.- Elizabeth

This book is absolutely amazing, the love this family has for one another is beyond measure . This family goes above and beyond for each other and the community is always there to help anyone in need. The way Clara Palms writes her stories is just like being there in person. This whole series is fantastic, I wish it would go on and on but I know all great things must come to an end eventually. I highly recommend this book and the entire series to every. Thank you Clara for your amazing gift that you give to each and every one of us. Keep up the great work that you do.

I appreciate that the author made it clear Fromm the beginning that the first book was one of a series of three, leading to the conclusion. I’ve read others that leave you dangling, looking for the next step.
This is a nice, sweet story about people who care about each other, even if they have problems communicating their thoughts clearly at times. And, as a longtime foster parent myself, I appreciate the kind and thoughtful portrayal of what good foster families can bring to the children in their lives.

This final installment of the Driftwood Key series wraps up some of the loose threads left from Book Two but leaves more than one or two things up to our imagination as to the HOW those things will play out. I was pleased with the new insight into Clint's past and how Anthem and Liberty's stories were moved forward. Very pleased overall with this series and look forward to looking into what else the author has written.

Such a beautiful ending to this series. (So sad, but all good things must end) Everything is wrapped up so wonderfully with all the family and extended family members. Lots of things occur and you just don’t want to stop reading until the end. It would be a dream to live in someplace like Driftwood Key.

Great Series!
These books are chock full of family, love , loss and heartache and you don't want to put them down until you find out whether or not everything turns out with an acceptable solution. I read them one right after another and I want more! I would love to know these people and it made me wish I was more like Mary. So glad I discovered this author and this series!

Great series
If you like strong women, this is the series for you! Jess and her daughters are so strong and are really there for each other. They all grew up and matured. It was a great series. I highly recommend it!

You just can't put it down. You feel like you are part of the family. You gotta know what is going to happen to each character, and just when you think you know the outcome, it surprises you.

I enjoyed this series. I only wish the author would have finished the series with an epilogue. I missed not knowing for sure how the house was completed along with the closure of her husband’s estate. I do like the author’s writing style very much.

So sweet and full of love and happy tears. But I honestly only read it to find out what happens with Jess and Clint and that isn’t revealed until the veryyyy end. But a nice ending to a cute book trio ☺️
