Himeko and Zero stumble upon a life-sized castle made of candy! Himeko runs right in to start chowing down. Zero follows, but no sooner do they get inside than they find themselves trapped and at the mercy of an eccentric princess named Kashihime! Like Kurohime she also has magical bullets, but hers aren't quite perfected. Zero and the candy-grabbing Himeko just might make the ideal targets for Kashihime to test out her dragon bullets!

La serie prosegue nel secondo volume in modo piuttosto prevedibile grazie alla rigida struttura di ogni capitolo, i nostri si ritrovano inseguiti dalla solita banda, si imbattono per coincidenze incredibili in una nuova minaccia magica, kuohime riesce momentaneamente a liberarsi dalla maledizione degli dei per poter eliminare la minaccia di turno con il suo pieno potere per poi tornare al punto di partenza...
Ma la serie non va giudicata sulla mancata progressione della trama, perchè il manga è incentrato sui personaggi più che sulla trama, e sono i personaggi a reggere ottimamente il ritmo narrativo, tra il sempre nobile ed estremamente ammirabile zero e la divertente e misteriosa Kurohime, la serie scorre in modo più che piacevole.
