This was assigned reading for my daughter's 4th grade Literature class using the ACE curriculum. I read on my own to be able answer any questions she had, and found the story very touching. Biddy shows a heart for Jesus and others through her generosity and sharing of the gospel.

This is a great story to teach about God's love, forgiveness, and generosity. The light that we give lets people see who we are. When we follow Him, people can see where we get our generosity from. I wish I read this in school when I was in grade school. But we were taught based on evolution, not Creation. Everyone should read this! Whether you are, a young reader, in grade school, teacher, or parent. I'm so thankful that my girlfriend's mother told me about this book. It was the best three dollars I could have spent. To all who trust in the Lord, keep sharing your faith. God will provide!
This is Really cool because I read this book for my literature when I was younger. I’m not so interested in it now but it’s great for the 8-12 age range! Very clean, intriguing, and has great values!
My son had to read this book for his 4Th grade literature class. It was an easy read, a delightful read. The author kept our interest from.chapter to chapter.
I loved this book when I was a little kid and had to read it in school. It's been a lifetime ago, so I have no idea what I would think of it today, and I don't intend to ever read it again. I don't want to go back and find that I hate it now or something.
