Rock out with this book of fun facts about xylophones, cymbals, concerts, and more!
Did you know that the violin contains more than 70 separate pieces of wood? How about that you can tune your guitar to the sound of a dial tone because it’s an “A”? Or that the Beatles were first called the Blackjacks, and then the Quarrymen?
Filled with tons of cool facts about musical instruments, plus colorful, humorous illustrations, this book is sure to be a hit!
This is from the “Did you Know” series and it’s all about music. It’s got tons of facts, but it’s written in a fun way. Have you ever been excited about something and you go to share it with someone else…that’s how this book is written.
It covers musical instruments, operas, one man bands, spoons…everything musical related.
Great introduction to all things music. The drawings are fun and I would recommend this to younger elementary aged kids. Although to be honest, I enjoyed it AND I learned some things. Like Frogs really do play the cello 😉.
I thought this was going to be a totally inane book and I actually learned a lot. I only wish I could have read this as a child, because I would've been sprinkling in these fun facts into everyday life like nobody's business.
Lots of fun facts and information about musical instruments. Lots of pictures of frogs (and other animals) demonstrating how to play the instruments. :)
An introduction to the instruments played in an orchestra and the differences between them, i.e. strings, winds etc. all done with adorable, colorful animals playing them. Very informative
Even though I knew this was an ongoing series, I was still surprised to see a new title. Fun and informative book about musical instruments. I did feel it was wordier than the previous books.
