This book starts out with pure chaos and pretty much stays in that state the whole time. The only change is that by the end it's sort of an organized chaos and the crew has managed to come to a place where they all like each other and support each other. It was tough getting there, this book proved that, but the end result is a good one. Love these Friday night meetings by the fire where anything goes and they can just have fun. It was also fun to see Kru and Cadence both over come their past to find a place where they can be happy and have someone in their life that really cares for them. Nothing but good vibes for this crew from here on out.

Cadence has always felt like she wasn’t enough. She’s currently in a Crew with two of her exes just as an example. She is also fascinated by Kru, another member of the Warlander Crew.
Kru is still trying to come to terms with his past and gain control of his animal. Cadence settles something inside him and his animal starts to feel more in control. But his past is about to jump up and bite him in the rear😳
I loved Cadence and Kru and really feel like we got to meet them for the first time as their depths were unveiled❣️ A fabulous story and I’m excited for what’s up next❤️

Absolutely wonderful. Kru is such a great guy, especially to Cadence. He understood her before he even understood himself. Cadence reminds me a lot of myself, and for that reason alone, it was an emotional read for me. Oh that ending! I'm so glad we're back "home" in Damon's Mountains!

I love this series
I'm just so obsessed with Joyce's writing and love these books. I have no idea how she does it. Each time I want to re-read all my favourite couples and just bask in their journeys. I didn't know how I was going to handle Candace's book because it felt like she had made some big errors in the past but Kru - OMG he is the best! So sweet and I loved the text banter they had and the relationship when they were friends wanting more for each other. Can't wait for March, just grateful she writes so fast and loves writing these types of stories.

Oh my Heart
So many happy tears reading this, I really had tears running down my face for half of this book! From watching Jenna, Lucia, and Cadence find the friendship bonds, the crew coming together, moments between Gunner and Kru. The sweet moments between Cadence and Kru. Loved it!
Such a good read! I love seeing the crew come together. Having Damon and the others show up was next level. For me this book was what the mountain was all about. Being there for each other. The humor is always good. Fixing the broken and lost comes together in their own Quirky way! This book filled my heart in the way that only T.S. Joyce can do with the special shifter crews on Damon's Mountain! So loved it. Such a good story!

I wasn’t sure how I felt about Cadence before, but I absolutely love her, and I think Kru may just be one of my favorite characters in this series. He and Cadence are perfect for each other. I love the way the crew has come together and can’t wait to read both Lucia’s and Gunner’s stories. I adore this author’s writing style.

This is the second book in this series. They can be read as standalones but I think they are better read in order. We are back on Damon’s Mountain with the second generation. Kru didn’t grow up on Damon’s Mountain but Cadence did. Beaston helped form this crew through his visions. They are all part of the crew for a reason. Cadence was told the knife to cut off her past would be there. Now Kru has been told his past is coming back for him. He had a mate once. Only it wasn’t a true mating, it was an arranged mating of the last two sabretooth tigers. She wasn’t ready and blamed Kru for everything then left. She continues to try and pull him back every time he is ready to move on. It’s the same this time. Kru and Cadence are circling each other. Will Cadence give up and let his ex have him or will she fight for her man? Kru will have to decide as well. If he wants to fight for what is beginning with Cadence or let his ex mess with him some more. Kru is getting better the more time he spends with Cadence and in turn is helping other members of the crew. Will Kru’s ex just let him go, not likely. They should be prepared. The characters are fantastic. I am so happy to be on Damon’s Mountain again. I am loving reading about this second generation. I can’t wait to read more about this crew. I love Willa and she was in this book. She is crazy funny. Congrats on a fantastic book T.S. Joyce.

Not gonna lie, when I saw Cadence was the FMC in this one, I was a little nervous. We had so much drama caused because of her in the past (and hashed out in Warlander Silverback) that I wasn't sure if I could handle her getting together with yet another guy from her pack.
But, boy, was I wrong.
Cadence was spectacular in this. I loved her sassy baddassery, and how it complimented Kru's wacky snark.
From the beginning of this one, we see that Kru and Cadence are interested in each other, but both of them have past relationships that make them wary of jumping into a new one. Honestly, I don't think it would have been possible to handle the OW drama any better than Joyce did in this. It was just the right amount of angsty tension without ever feeling the MMC wasn't totally in it with the FMC.
I thought for sure the first book of this Warlander series would be the best and no other would live up to it, but I was wrong. This one was even better.
But, boy, was I wrong.

One of the things I really like about this author is that her books move along at a nice pace. Both these main characters were in the previous book so we already had some notions about them. But we learn quickly from each of their POVs who they really are according to their past traumas and histories. As usual with this author, there's plenty of fun banter and set up for future main characters.
One of my favorite moments is this little speech from Lucas (the MMC from the last book). It's adorable and inspiring to watch him go from a typically self centered young guy to a real leader,
“I have all these instincts now,” Lucas admitted. “And I don’t know if I like it. I barely like you motherfuckers most days, but I’m standing here torn between getting Gunner home and protecting you ladies, and figuring out what the hell is happening with Kru. My silverback wants me to Change and gather you all together and just exist knowing I’m looking at you and you’re all safe. I don’t know what is wrong with me.”
So many people never grow up - they just stay self focused and whiney. One of the many fantasies that romances fulfill is people growing up into strong, caring adults who take care of their communities.

Love Being Back in Damon's Mountains
I'm loving this new series and being back in Damon's Mountains. New characters and old friends make up the storyline. Cadance is drawn to Kru and at first they're doing a dance around each other. Then they end up at a speed dating event at their favorite bar but the truth is they only have eyes for each other. Just as they start to express their feelings Kru's ex shows up and wants him back. She's the reason his shifter animal has been messed up but Kru wants nothing to do with her. As the story unfolds Kru almost dies and the ex comes back with her crew to kill Cadance. All hell breaks loose and it's a fight to the finish. Such a good book and I highly recommend reading it.

Breaking the Chain
Wow, Kru and Candence story is my favorite so far in this series. It was truly amazing. Having Will a brought me so much joy. Will a has always been my favorite of all the series. I have all of this authors books. The author knows how to, not only keep you engaged in it, but keeps all of your emotions at the forefront. The character's bantering throughout makes these stories grand. The emotion she also brings touches you. Here as time goes by, we learn about Kru's past and his hurts...but we also get great glimpses into the crews individual issues as well, also with Landon. Loved this one. Now, I can't wait for who's story is next! I am hoping we don't have to wait too long for War landers Book 3!

Ok, so I wasn't sobbing like I did at the end of Jenna and Lucas's story.... lol! Who am I kidding? I freaking love, Kru!!
I felt Cadence pain. A strong and powerful shifter and feeling like a failure as a woman and love-mate. A filler.
Krueger was almost the reverse version of damage. As a man, he was fine, but his animal was broken. I hate Sasha myself from trying to break that beautiful man/soul!
I love it when those hills come alive with the sounds of War. There is always one crew that thinks they came come into those mountains ⛰️ and quickly realized "they don't want that smoke"!

Damaged people healing each other
This is a sweet romance. Both the characters had failed relationships in their past. This one is good. The conflict is mostly with Kru's ex.
Four stars because I didn't really connect to Constance. She's prickly, but also social? She has history in the area, but where are her old friends? Why did she decide she should join a crew with two of her exes and none of her current friends? She doesn't seem to have any hobbies or a relationship with her parents.
This is a sweet romance. Both the characters had failed relationships in their past. This one is good. The conflict is mostly with Kru's ex.

A beautiful connection for Kru
I am reading this series and as always TS Joyce tells the most compelling stories. I am a fan of all the dragons, bears, and her other shifters. This is back to the newly created crew. Lucas and Jenna are happy and mated. Gunner is still struggling. Lucia is healing and finding acceptance. Cadence isdoing better as well and working with Willa. She has feelings for Kru, but not sure how to approach him. So she decides to go the befriending route. It’s humorous but also sweet. Another beautiful story in Damon’s mountains. Read On!

Love it
As always, T. S. Joyce does not disappoint. Great characters and a well developed storyline makes this installment in the series another hit, IMHO. T. S. has developed characters that make you laugh, repeatedly, love, and find hope through their journey. Like other stories and characters she has written about, I just hate when I’m through reading them and look forward to when the next story will come forward. Additionally, I know this will be a series I will enjoy rereading in the future 👏👍

Cadence and Kru were both bad at relationships. Cadence didn’t know what she’d wanted, two guys in their crew were her exes. As the last of a breed-able saber pair, Kru’s parents promised him to Sasha but she wanted to try all the other males first, whenever she heard a female caught Kru’s eye, she returned. Still finding their way as a crew, all the warlanders and Sasha end up at bar’s speed dating event, Kru and Cadence found something between them. Sasha saw it and wanted to crash that party!

Warlander - Another Love Story For The Worst of Us
T.S. Joyce never fails. I love everyone of her misfits. Their scars -- internal and external -- reflect humanity. Their willingness to fight for those they love is inspirational. Their mistakes are reflective of mine. Their animals, in this case tigers, saber-tooth tigers, silverback gorillas, grizzles and more somehow show that the strongest among us need as much understanding as the weak. The various crews continue to defy the odds and the Warlanders stories continue.
T.S. Joyce never fails. I love everyone of her misfits. Their scars -- internal and external -- reflect humanity. Their willingness to fight for those they love is inspirational. Their mistakes are reflective of mine. Their animals, in this case tigers, saber-tooth tigers, silverback gorillas, grizzles and more somehow show that the strongest among us need as much understanding as the weak. Oh My Gosh! I LOVED this one! This is filled with all kinds of fun and heartfelt words. I was hesitant at first because I wasnt ready for Cadence’s story yet but she was ready to tell it! She is quite the woman! Impressive with her skills! Kru was a mystery but he gets revealed in here. I was surprised at where their story took us. But it is a ride! They have wonderful chemistry! The pack is becoming more too! They made me laugh and that Lucia! She is going to be a good story! She is really changing and coming out of her shell.

Awesome storyline!
I’m loving every single word of this new series! It’s such a homecoming for me! I’ve reread all the books of Damon’s Mountains for years, venturing from the beginning first book all the way thru to the newest book! It’s pure heaven to go back to where it all started!

I’m loving every single word of this new series! It’s such a homecoming for me! I’ve reread all the books of Damon’s Mountains for years, venturing from the beginning first book all the way thru to the newest book! It’s pure heaven to go back to where it all started!

Not a fan of Cadence due to her previous relationships and current interactions with Lucas and Gunnar.
Though she gives her reasons, I didn’t feel they exonerated her.
Loved Kru’s shifter side, what a wonderfully different animal.
Hated how the poor animal had been treated by his supposed mate Sasha. She is toxic.
But wanted a cleaner break with Sasha being put in her place.
Jenna does her bit there, so good.
And I really enjoyed Lucia taking the girls to her place, so sweet.

I love these books!
Besides getting to know the new generation, I absolutely love that this series is back in Damon’s mountains. Building this crew is unique and while it has the familiarity of the original series in Damon’s Mountains, it is unique to them. You don’t need to have read the previous series to enjoy this book, but once you read one you will want to to read all of them!

In all honesty, I was thinking I’d put the story on the DNF shelf. As usual, I keep reading it. The story started slow. It was heading into the middle part that I appreciated the pace of the first part of the slow it was the perfect beginning and perfect middle to bring you to an emotional, ugly tears ending. I don’t know how to describe the story without giving things away so I will leave this as the end We are “home” again.

Warlander Beast Cat...
Warlanders book 2. Kru gets his story and it is simply marvelous. Kru stole the show in book 1. So his book shares his history. Which is twisty and hella dramatic. No spoilers from me. Applaud Candace in this book, she changes some things. The Crew is trying to come together. But pasts ghosts keep popping up. Angsty AF, WTF craziness, and plenty of smexiness.

Cadence is in a crew with her two exes, and a third shifter that she wants to help out. She thinks she's a filler, because of her past and not finding a future. Can Kru be her forever? Kru wss only 18 when he was set up with his ex Sasha. Sasha broke his saber tooth, made Kru just want to kill everything, but cadence has changed him. Will Sasha give him up so easily? Great read.
