Coming home to a delectable slow-coked dish is always a delight. You open the door to delicious, tantalizing smells, take a few moments to assemble plates and cutlery, and tuck in. MMMMMM-YUM!

I love cook books, and I really loved this one. Let's start with the pictures, absolute tons of them, not just the end product but of the steps involved. There are over 400 recipes in this book, and they are calling my name to make them all. Yes even Jambalaya!!! Can't wait to try that. Jambalaya = one of my favorites, when I go out to eat, so can't wait to be able to make my own. There are several different ones contained in the book.

There are useful tips on how to prepare ingredients so the recipes can be tackled with confidence. This section is what is great for me. I know I'll be re-reading it many more times, as I explore new to me dishes.

This book was designed for those with busy lives, who still want to eat wholesome tasty foods without the fuss and time consuming cooking techinques. I have made many of the dishes since I purchased this book, and they have yet to disappoint me.

This has been one of my favorites and thought I need to spread the word about this wonderful cookbook. It's a real keeper!!!!

There were some really good looking chicken recipes but there were quite a few I had no interest in. I like how the book introduces you to the different kinds of one - pot meals and the pots that are used to make them. It does a bit of info on ingredients and cooking styles, as well as preparation. There were a lot of seafood recipes but being that I don't live next to the sea and the fact that what I get isn't as fresh I don't think I will be making them. Some of them looked really good though.

The pictures were gorgeous and a couple of the chicken ones made my mouth water. As did a fish stew one - it looked delicious. Like really delicious. Someday I'm going to visit the ocean and make that dish. Yum.

Have had this book for just over two years. It gives lots of useful 'general cooking' information, yet I haven't tried too many of the recipes. I think it may be as I don't store many of the 'store cupboard' ingredients... Lots of ideas though and I hope to be tempted into trying something soon (I bring it out each October, browse then put it back in the cupboard!)

This was a Costco impulse buy. Haven't tried any of the recipes yet and, frankly, it has a lot of recipes I'm not really interested in trying.
