16/20 13 mins. Part of LibriVox Audiobook “Short SF Collection Vol. 058”. Well narrated by Dale Grothmann. Story about a new treatment for a seriously ill patient. Basically presents the patients partner with a moral dilemma, whether to administer an unknown drug guaranteed to do no harm or not. Whether what happens next is the correct or moral solution for such a scenario is a modern philosophical question as addressed in the Matrix. To me it’s ok, but some poor religiously indoctrinated people may worry about escaping from reality, false gods/heavens or whatever...I dunno and don’t care, it made me think for a couple of seconds but now I’ve got it totally out of proportion. Overall not bad, but a tad too predictable.
