Can we go back to having random women with weapons in bodies of water electing our leaders? I mean, imagine the headlines: Local mayor chosen by lady of the swimming pool with a nerf gun.”

Marvelous stuff. Oddly enough, Roland was a more popular character in Italy than France, so he appears as "Orlando" in most of the legends.

A fascinating read, particularly the selections from the Mabinogion and the Legends of Charlemagne.

I just couldn't get in to it. Too much like a college textbook.
