This book is an MC romance and
yes, the main characters are outlaw bikers, but to be honest, they're the best "bad/good guys" characters from all the stories so far.

This series is full of amazing men with principles and honor.
Men that take the word loyalty, dead honest.
Men who don't make empty promises.
Yes, they are criminals because they are involved in the arms trade and
yes, their life is dangerous and can end very badly at any time but to tell you the truth, the way the men are described and the way they love and appreciate family life, that quality is very rarely found anywhere else.

As you can see, I loved the book very much 😂
Why, because the characters are incredibly authentic and brutally honest.
They fight for the right to be free and happy, and that makes the story even more emotional and beautiful.

Yes, I know it's fiction, but let me dream that somewhere in this world, men like this exist and are just like the Henchmen MC members. They should also be tattooed and ride bikes, please. This is very important to make a story believable! 😉😂

Lana is on edge, and not in a good way. In the way that she’s constantly looking over her shoulder while skimping and scraping just to feed her three young children. So on edge, that she decides that she needs to get a black market gun and learn how to use it.

Surprisingly, Repo and Maze’s son, Seth, is not as much of a wild child as one might guess given how badass his parents are. Seth has just opened up his own firing range, bought a big, beautiful house and honestly, isn’t that interested in licking whipped cream and chocolate sauce off of bikini clad hotties at the clubhouse parties. And when he gets a good look (and whiff) of his first customer at the range, a slightly jumpy but absolutely beautiful yummy mummy, his immediate thoughts are to grab her, bend her over his table and make her his, then slightly later, making a family with her and her three little kids. But that doesn’t make him any LESS of a badass. Indeed, Seth’s actions in the face of adversity show everybody exactly what kind of badass he truly is, and babes, that it 100%.

Jessica Gadziala knows how to write amazing suspense, crime, attraction, family loyalty and love. Seth and Lana’s story is yet another shining example of her absolutely brilliant imagination and craftsmanship.

Sometimes the child of the original Henchmen surprises you. Seth (Repo and Maze's son) is such a sweet, kind soul. He is now at the stage in life where he now a homeowner, opening his chosen legit business and not so much on the heavy partying. He is immediately taken with one of his first customers at his gun range who turns out to be a mother of 3 who is hiding both literally and figuratively from a bad relationship.

The author has pointed out she typically doesn't write stories where kids are prominent in the main story, but I thought she did a wonderful job along with giving a realistic view on how sexy times are snuck in. I loved the surprise camo towards the end of a certain character and hope we continue to get more of the second-generation kid's stories.

Definitely one of my favorites! I’m pleasantly surprised that I loved Seth so much; he was always just a side character for me, but his and Lana’s story was so sweet. I love stories involving kids, adorable ones, and Issac, Hazel, and Clara were just that. I’m now more interested in Sully’s story. Jessica has done it again, and as always, I can’t wait for more to come.

I really enjoyed this Henchmen. I love all the Henchmen books but I read this in one sitting. The characters just worked and the flow of this story was spot on. Seth and Lana just fit. Thanks JG for another great read.

It’s a rare thing. Very rare thing. To actually not like a JG book. I’ve read some which were just ok, but never one I actually didn’t care for. I didn’t find the hero dreamy (and I usually do - all her heroes are dreamy) and I didn’t find the heroine any better. In a way, they kinda worked together I suppose.

It’s not that deep, so I’m not gonna elaborate.

I have been waiting to see what Seth’s story would be for a while now. JG did not disappoint. Great story. Loved Lana and her kiddos. This next generation of Henchmen are really giving the originals a run for their money!

So good

I am over the moon happy that the author finally wrote a single parent book. It's my favorite trope and she is my favorite author so I might be a bit biased in my LOVE for this story. Seth and Lana oh my they were meant to be. I loved how funny they were with eachother. The jokes and sarcasm. Seth's moments with the kids, awwww. Sully is the sode character that stood out in this story. That epilogue was chefs kiss, amazing. I love seeing the kids grow up too.

softer side of MC romance

Nice book. Good story. Heroine is leaving an abusive situation and the stars align to bring her earthly angels that help her escape and find her way. Seth has just opened up his own gun range, his first customer? Yep. She’s it. She’s a single mom on the run from trouble. And trouble comes. It’s nice how the story unfolds. And it feels organic. The sexist man alive is one who helps, one who doesn’t add to your burdens in life but helps you carry them or solve them. He’s always looking to be a help mate. We like Seth. Also, they’re hot together. It’s a nice balance.

Seth is the ninth book in the Henchmen MC, Next Gen series by Jessica Gadziala.
If I'm being honest although this was an enjoyable read it was not how I saw Seth's story going and thought it was very rushed.

Good lord I cried rivers of happiness by the end of this book. This one is a soul feeder for sure.

I really didn't know what to expect from Seth if I'm honest. He surprised me still. He was patient, kind and had his head screwed on. He didn't have time for young fun or quick romps. He was focused on having something just his and put everything into the range. I loved this. I loved him. Him with kids.. My ovaries exploded. This man is a saint.

Lana blew me away. She a mom with the kind of strength that goes soul deep. Despite her hard life and the fact this woman could not catch a single break.. She never did make out like her life was hard. She chugged through giving her kids her very best. She was sweet, present and independent. She loved her babies more than life, a proper momma bear. I adore her.

These two had my eyes watering with all the sweet. Not the cheesy cringe kind. The genuinely sweet can't imagine them not being a them kind. I love that they were both stubborn and bickered over the silliest sweet things. The chemistry was instantaneous but the way their connection developed through their journey is real special. A mutual respect and love for one another. The swoony goodness and the witty sarcasm... I loved it all.

Their are so many characters that I want more of. I feel like Jessie spoiled and overloaded me and my needy brain with them.

Their really is nothing like the family ties and how these big burly men and kickass women wrap new comers into their family like they were always meant to be there. The hilarious banter and bickering. The ridiculous conversations, outrages titty shirts and out door shenanigans ... The support, protectiveness and love. Everything about them, I love.

This one was a swoony gooey I loved it hard kind of read. I picked it up with the intentions of reading a few chapters and picking it back up the next day.. Safe to say at 1:30am, hella over tired and squinting.. I could not put it down. Fabulous read, I'm curious to see who is next...

Genre & Tropes : romance biker x suspense plot x violent and creepy ex x single mom x forced proximity

Un biker badass et une mère célibataire ?? OUI !!

PS : OUI je vais relire Of Snakes and Men parce que Andres reste mon favori <3

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

A badass biker and a single mother ?? YES !!

The single mother in distress trope is one of my favorites, and I LOVED seeing Lana fall under the spell of the badass Seth (who's totally ready to have a family, which I also really loved !)

The kids were adorable, Lana was so strong (when she talks about her past !!) but at the same time super cute, and I absolutely adored Seth, who does everything to tame her but also protect her (and I loved the way her ex ended up =D And the little appearance of A, all relaxed xD)

In short, a sexy and cute biker romance that I devoured !

PS: YES I'm going to reread Of Snakes and Men because Andres remains my favorite <3

Seth

I liked that the MFC has three kids when the story starts. It's easy to guess that she is running from a man, but as with most of this author's work, I appreciated reading this woman's story. So often we relate to statistics as numbers rather than actual people. Domestic violence and stalkers, and the women who get victimized, don't actually feel like people until we hear a story. So yeah, I appreciate being present to a story that is real for many women.

I also like being reminded of all the parts of the systems that are in place that create and sustain these horrible situations. The MFC talks about how she got stuck with her ex,

“You see, I just… went along with it. It wasn’t coercion or abuse at the time. I just… let things happen, even though I wasn’t feeling it.”

There are lots of reasons for why she behaves this way - hope, longing for a family, the American dream, security - the list is long and comes with our socialization, and is well described in the book.

I love that the MMC intentionally creates a gun range that women would want to go to. Also, his conversation with her son near the end of the book was really beautiful.

My favorite lines: in regards to maintaining a house and taking care of kids - this is definitely the mantra:

“Alright, well, that wasn’t how I planned for that to go,” Seth said when he was done.

“That is pretty much my personal mantra,” I said, getting a little chuckle out of him.

Seth is the ninth book in the Henchmen MC - Next Generation series. He’s the son of Repo and Maze from the original Henchmen series.

Lana is a single mother of three small children on the run from their abusive father. She’s had such a hard time with things in her past and deserves to meet someone special.

Seth is a really great guy. He has always wanted a family, so it was really sweet watching him fall in love with not only Lana but her kids Issac, Hazel and Clara. Being a member of the MC, Seth is able to teach/show Lana she can ask for help while also learning she can depend on him.

I hope we see Amos again. He’s a new character that’s introduced who works at Seth’s new shooting range that I’m thinking has MC potential or one of the other organizations in the area.

Seth is a quick good read in the Navesink Bank world with very little drama, told from dual POVs and has a happy ending.

.

Seth, son of Repo and Maze, full patched brother and now owner of the Navesink bank shooting range . All that’s missing is his cherry on top dream of a wife and kids.
That arrived in the shape of Lana and her 3 kids, on the run from her abusive ex she wants to learn to shoot . They Zinged from first sight, his employee Amos called it from the get go ( he called Lana baby girl from the start *swoons*. I laughed when all his female cousins pegged him as falling for a single mum .
Typically just as happiness is showing its face the abusive ex turns up . Funniest scene is the elderly neighbour turning up with her shotgun saving Lana and scaring the bejesus out of the ex

Seth is Repo’s son, and he is a new owner of a shooting range. Lana is a single mom of 3 that needs to learn how to protect herself. She heads to the shooting range, and meets Seth, who decides it is his responsibility to protect Lana and her children.

I adored this story. Seth was sweet and kind. I love a good single mom story, and this checked all of the boxes. There was drama, laughs, adorable children, and of course sexy times. I read this in a couple hours because I didn’t want to set its own.

A new favorite

Wow this story has all the feels. Life doesn’t always go the way we want and for Lana and her kids it was just traumatic and unsettling. When she finds a way to keep herself and the kids safe it proves that there are good men out there. She found one with a family that would love her and her kids. Keep your heart open to new possibilities even when you feel like you are beat down. Unfortunately some do not escape the evil of domestic violence and that is heartbreaking.

Seth is definitely swoon worthy

Jessica delivered another hero who not only saved her from an abusive ex. But loved her 3 adorable kids as well. Lana never thought she would trust another man anytime soon when she had herself & her children to protect. But meeting Seth had changed all that for the better. This book left you feeling that there are definitely good guys out there that will stand up and defend those they love. And who doesn't love to read about Scilly and his cream & chocolate slip-n-slide.

Lana & Seth

Omh! I love these two so much!! 😍 Every story in this series touches my heart in one way or another. I ached for Lana & what she was running from. I was overjoyed that she & Seth found each other. The chemistry, of course, and the depth of feeling for each other, and the kids! And those kids wiggled into my heart just like Seth's, too, ya know. Also, like Hazel, I enjoy ketchup on my scrambled eggs & omelets on occasion. 😁

We get steam, suspense, lots of laughter, and so much love!!

I’m not a big MC reader but I love this author and thought I’d give this a shot. I’m glad I did. This was a great steamy read. The chemistry between the hero and heroine was fire and I loved the hero had already lived some life and knew exactly what he wanted. There were no games and he knew he had to go all in to show her that since she was a single mom. I will for sure be checking out other books in this series.

Hopefully not the last....

Read all the OG Henchmen along with the next Generation & Golden Glades series. Now onto Shady Valley. I'm assuming more of second gen is coming, plus the hint to a Texas spin off. Now about Seth he was just what I expected down to earth, loyal & sexy. Perfect for a mother of 3. Wish we could all find that...lol Love how A made appearance, just wish could have seen Lana meet Seth's mom & girls club.

Seth

A perfect story with a beautiful ending. So much more than a simple HEA. Seth was looking when Lana came into his gun range. There was no denial of love and attraction. Seth knew from the start that Lana was what he had been looking for. Shout out to Isaac, Hazel and Clara and especially Rodney. I love all the Henchmen. There is never a disappointment in a book by Jessica Gadziala.

Great story

I really liked Seth and Lana's story. Seth is a really nice, gun range owning, gun runner Henchman biker and when he meets Lana, he really likes her.
The story goes through the angst of new relationships - not too much though, as they navigate Lana's problems.
Its a great story.

WARM

One thing I noticed right away was how warm and caring Seth was as a human being. He was the perfect man for Lana and her children. I could see how they’d fall in love. Seth’s talk with Isaac about asking his mom to marry him was precious and a positive in Isaac’s life after all the stress of his previous life.

I loved this story!
