I love Torin St. James...
I need his strength…
But someone from his past wants me dead.

Raine Cooper is certain of two things: her love for Torin St. James and her destiny to be a powerful seeress. But when she starts having premonitions, they are unclear and disturbing. Worse, they involve Torin. With her mother gone, her father dying, and her best friend in Hel, she is not sure who to talk to.

But when the visions become more personal and she foresees her future with Torin threatened by someone from his past, Raine becomes desperate for answers. Just her luck two new students arrive at her school and they seem to have answers. When with them, her powers are enhanced and her visions become clear. There is only one problem: Torin forbids Raine to see the two girls.

I love books that keep surprising you. there were so many twists and turns in this book, I wasn't able to properly guess anything. it was awesome.

I love Torin St. James! and even though Raine was a little whiny in this one she did try to keep it together. she went through a lot of crap. I love the writing style of these books. I love that I feel pulled into the story.

starting book 4 later after I've slept a bit. it's 3 am. I just couldn't stop reading.

Last fall, I'd been your average high schooler with a crush on her childhood friend. Nothing exciting was happening in my life, just a looming seventeenth birthday and swim practice. Then a leather-wearing, dark-haired british guy knocked on my door and my life had never been the same.

Torin St James, how I've missed your cockiness, your passion and that sexy smile. Once again, you managed to have me swooning and laughing.

Raine Cooper has started having visions. Visions that leave her confused by the things that she sees. It doesn't help that these visions aren't exactly clear, or that Torin seems to feature fairly prominently in them. Or that Raine doesn't like the things that she thinks she's seeing in them. As the visions become clearer, Raine realises that the time has come for her to get some answers. But Torin may not like who she turns to to get those answers.

"There. I won't distract you anymore."
Torin chuckled. "You're sitting on my lap."
"I'll move to the other end of the room." His arms tightened firmly around me.
"You distract me period, Freckles. Your voice. Your laugh." He closed his eyes, inhaled deeply and exhaled. "Your scent. My essence has a way of finding yours, so no matter where you run, I'll always find you."

Torin and Raine's love for each other shone through again. They really are perfect together. Their backwards and forwards banter was, as always, so much fun. They both give and take in each aspect of their relationship, even if it does take them a little while to get there. Although they still need to work on the sharing of information. There were times when both held things back from the other, but they eventually got there in the end.

There was a fair bit of head butting between Raine and Torin this time around. Torin was unflinching in his need to protect Raine and she was just as equally unflinching in her need to prove to Torin that she was strong enough to deal with things for herself. But I felt it all made them both stronger as a couple and it sure as hell made Raine stronger as a person. I love that she's grown a little with each book. You can really see her blossoming into the person that she's set to become.

I loved that we learnt so much about Torin's past. As sad and as heartbreaking as it was at times, I found myself loving him all the more. His pain. There were so many times that I wished I could take it all away. Raine really showed her strength and her love when he was going through the worst.

The action really picked up this time around. I was always kept guessing with what was going to happen next. It was suspenseful, dramatic and exciting.

One of the things that I love most about this series is that Raine is surrounded by the most wonderful little group of people, all willing to support her. Even though they are not all related by blood, the love and sense of family is something beautiful.

Ednah Walters Runes series is easily one of my favourites and I find myself eagerly awaiting the next instalment to see what she has in store next. If you haven't read any of the series yet, then you're definitely missing out on a whole lot of awesome.

"We're lucky, aren't we?" Cora said.
I looped an arm around hers. "Why?"
"Our men have the sexiest asses in the entire universe."

* I received a free ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review *

Another 5 star gem from the amazingly talented, Ednah Walters!

The Runes series is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Seeress picks up right where Grimnirs left off with Lorraine Cooper, Raine (with an E) to her friends, trying to navigate her way through this confusing yet exhilarating new life that she's found herself a part of. Last fall Raine was just an average high school student. Now, she's anything BUT average. She's the girlfriend of super sexy Valkyrie, Torin St. James, best friend to soul seer, Cora Jemison, acquaintance to Echo, the best Grimnir on Hel's roster, and she's also a powerful seeress destined to forsee the beginning of Ragnarok, the end of the world war between the gods and the evil giants.

You would think that life would be a breeze with all of that might, magic, and muscle in her corner but sadly...no. Someone is systematically killing off seeresses to get to her and Raine must figure out who it is before it's too late.

Seeress is a fantastic book that only gets better the further you get into it. I love the camaraderie, the family and friendship dynamics that are so prominent in this book. There is plenty of action and suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat but even in the midst of fight scenes and the race against the clock, the love and friendship and family elements are so strong. It's also nice to have a leading (YA) female character that teens can look up to for a change. Raine is loyal and kind, brave, always there to help a friend and her relationship does not include sex or the pressure to have sex which I found refreshing. That doesn't mean there is no romance. There is plenty of steamy scenes to be had in Seeress. It truly includes something for everyone.

Seeress is a great addition to an equally great series and I for one can't wait to see what this author comes up with next!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was filled with oodles of YA goodness. There was teen angst, controlling boyfriends (and alpha males), smoldering looks, and action action action! I recommend reading these books in order so you get the full impact of the Raine/Torin (and Cora/Echo) story.

Raine and Torin are the sizzling couple we’ve come to expect from previous books. There’s no smutty goodness, but it’s as good as somewhat caste YA gets. Between that, there’s also some pretty unique and engaging story. The pages flew by, filled with Norse mythology and witches brewing up trouble. Raine is still working on becoming the seeress that everyone expects her to be, but when she starts predicting trouble on the horizon, everything changes. Torin ramps it up into crazy overprotective mode while at the same time keeping lots of his past from Raine. We do eventually get lots of information about Torin’s history, but it take a lot of pushing, stress, and outside factors to make that happen.

Cora and Echo remain my new favorite couple. I’m sorry Raine and Torin – I just because completely addicted to them in their book. Luckily, they play key roles in this one and continue to be their awesome selves. I look forward to a lot more from them in the future. There’s also the usual cast of characters, complete with drama and unrepentant attitudes. This gang of misfits has completely grown on me now, too. We even got some new faces thrown into the mix.

Overall, this installment pulled at the heartstrings a bit (Raine’s father plays a big role) but still managed to be the action packed YA read I wanted. There’s no major cliffhanger, but there’s still lots of unanswered questions that will keep me coming back to this series no matter what. I really hope, though, for my own peace of mind, that Raine and Torin find a better balance between their personalities. It was nerve wracking watching them battle over even the littlest of things. Making up was fun, though.

Seeress is the third book in the Runes series by Ednah Walters. In this book, Raine is coming to terms with her new abilities – including scary visions. On top of these confusing visions, she's dealing with her dad dying, her mom being gone, and Torin being secretive. Worst of all, she finds out that somebody evil is after her. All of this on top of trying to lead a normal high school life. Raine's life isn't easy right now.

This is a good book involving lots of mythology and mystery, but so far I think this is my least favorite book of the series. I think it's just because romance is my favorite aspect of a book, and things just aren't as exciting with Raine and Torin as a couple. Don't get me wrong, they still have lots of chemistry together. It's just, they have been a couple for awhile now and are focused on other things. I'd like to see Raine turn 18, and have her and Torin move to the next step in their relationship.

I love Torin's protectiveness, even if Raine isn't so thrilled about it. I actually even love their bickering – they are such a cute couple! Torin is probably the best book-boyfriend that I have read in young adult fiction. He is drool-worthy, humorously cocky, fiercely protective, and an all around good guy.

There is a lot of suspense in this book, with wondering who the bad guy is. I'm glad there wasn't a big cliffhanger ending. I would like to see another book out about some of the background characters, such as Blaine, Andris or Ingrid. If you like YA paranormal romance and haven't read this series yet, then I definitely recommend starting it!

I don’t think I could write a proper review of this fine novel without spoilers, so here’s your warning. If you read past the opening blurb, you will find some plot spoilers for this one.

Seeress is such a great installment in the Runes series, leaving you with questions, both answered and not, and so many emotional quandaries as to create your own break down worthy of a stay at PMI.

Herein we find Raine being hunted for her abilities and the ever protective Torin trying to fight demons from his own past to save his love once again. Lavania and Svana are MIA as the latter awaits the decision from on high regarding her status as a Valkyrie, and Raine’s Dad is still in declining health. With everything going on, you find yourself being pulled into the characters emotions more than ever, and the action smoothly intertwines with the drama and romance throughout the story.

Major props to Ms. Walters and her current editors as there were little to no proofreading issues, and the plot confusion was actually intentional and comes to a (not quite fully resolved) conclusion by the end of the book. At one point you get so confused and feel like you missed something only to realize the brilliance at play as Raine herself is being toyed with and made to feel insane. Damn those Norns.

I’m so happy to give this one the first 5 star rating in the series, and now can’t wait for the next piece, Witches, due out next year.

***I was given a copy of Seeress in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own, and I was in no other way compensated or given ideas.***

First of all, If you haven't started this series, you should because you will be disappointed you missed this New release in the Runes Series.

Raine is still learning about her new abilities. She is finally starting to have visions, however they aren't very clear. Torin doesn't like this one bit. Eirik is still MIA, and Raine's mother has gone to try to regain her Valkyrie status. And Raine's dad isn't getting any better.

This story is fast paced and exciting with so much drama, you can't help but read late into the night to finish. Twists and turns, Norns, and Raine's spunky behavior fits the bill nicely. One thing I love about this series is that you really get to know all the characters. Each one has a background that relates to the story in a significant way. How everything is tied together is just complete brilliance.

You won't believe who is behind attacking the seeresses and who made the call to draw all the witches into town. However, someone always has Raine's back. Raine is becoming a little more confident in her abilities, and is getting upset with Torin's protectiveness. Torin, Torin St.James....yeah, he's hot as ever I must say.

It's really interesting to see how the Immortals, Valkyries, Grimnirs, and witches all work together in this story. It's creative how the story unfolds before your eyes. It's one of those stories where the words literally disappear off the page.

Raine is SO ANNOYING! She and Torin are supposed to be soulmates and all that but they spend most of their time arguing. He’s a control freak; she’s impetuous and thinks she knows everything. And then, they’ll be having a fight and she sees how handsome he is and whatever she’s mad at him about is forgotten. Their relationship just seems so superficial. She’s always mad at him but - wait! - washboard abs!!! Everything is forgiven!!! Then she’s back to being mad at him again - until the next time she sees his hot body. Ugh. And what is it with these heroines thinking that the guy being all controlling is sexy if he’s trying to protect them!??

Plot wise, this was pretty weak and hard to follow, I think because there was too much telling and very little showing with regards to what was going on.

I also think this book was the worst, typo wise. At one point near the end, two paragraphs were duplicated. There were comma errors and subject-verb agreement errors and awkwardly phrased sentences.

I have the others in the series, but at this point I am on the fence if I will continue. I believe the next book is another one from Cora’s perspective and I like her better, so maybe I will.

Seeress picks up after Grimnirs drops off. I know that Grimnirs is a different storyline because it’s Cora’s story. But it bridges the gap between Immortals and Seeress. So I consider it to be book 3 instead of this one. That’s just an aside. Raine and Torin are still tight as ever. Only now there is someone from Torin’s past (before his days as a Valkyrie to be exact) that is wanting Raine to serve his own purpose. Both Raine and Torin do the best that they can to figure out who this person is but instead of working together they do it their own way. Slowly they figure out they make a better team. We see Raine continue with her training to become a Valkyrie and she finally starts to have visions. Though most of them are pretty scary and at one point it becomes hard to differentiate between vision and reality. To say much more would give away...(http://textuallove.wordpress.com/2015...) I cannot handle this, somebody get me a Torin St. James pronto!
I am lost for words, I truly am. Ednah has blown me away AGAIN and now I don't think I can deal with reality. Seeress has taken this series to the next level, coming back into Raines point of view we continue the story to find out how Raine is coping with the knowledge of her future, becoming an all powerful Seeress and her breath catching love her our favourite male Torin! The twists and turns that occur in this amazing next instalment of the Runes series will have you gripping the edges of your seat while you enjoy a ride on an emotional rollercoaster. Seeress will have you feeling everything our characters are feeling and the ending will leave you begging for more!

I cannot believe that happened... Now I have to wait even longer for the next book to come out! That's just not fair!!! I loved it... At least Raine is getting brave enough to stand up to Torin, that takes guts. Especially after she figured out what he would do. Eirik was almost on my hate list but then he came back around so he's all good and Torin is happy now that someone is where she's supposed to be. I still cannot believe I have to wait till the next one comes out, it's going to drive me crazy that I don't know what the Norns are going to do or why they were smiling at the end. I want the next one now!!!

Loved it! The change in Raine is huge and I start to like her new side. She is maturing and becoming a brilliant young woman.
Torin, oh, Torin. He is one HOT, that I would snatch for myself.

In here we can see that so many things are revealed. So much hurt and pain for Torin and Raine. My heart broke so many times, but their love is everlasting and they both know they have each other

I really enjoyed the content of the book, the characters, and the general feel I got from reading this. I didn’t, however, enjoy the increase in typographical errors. I try to give some leeway to digital content because it seems digital books often have more errors, but there were quite a few. Try not to let it bother you too much, the story itself was very enchanting.

That.Was.Killer. Seriously?
I just died and came back!
Seeress was the 3rd book but 4th installment in the Runes Series and Ms Walters brings it!! One thing I must say is I still have so many questions! Luckily they aren’t old lingering questions they are bright new ones. I am a mega fan of this series because it’s hard not to be. Ms Walters world building is excellent, the way the words flow play out like a movie in your mind as you read. When I finished Seeress I wanted to cry scream and run through the meadows. Seriously if I had a meadow I would have run through it.

In this book we go back to Raine, where in Grimnirs we got a switch to Cora's POV and I admit I was curious if that would continue or even a swap back and forth kind of deal. No we stick with Raine which I don't mind at all, but I do hope to get more of Cora's POV in the future knowing how much I enjoyed it. Where was I? Oh yes I was back with Raine Cooper who is a complicated girl who is pretty much sure of a few things in life, that she loves Torin (then again who wouldn't), and she is a powerful seeress, even if she doesn't know what that means yet. She is still training but with things spinning around a mile a minute to say her life is chaotic is an understatement. Her mother is sequestered, her father is dying, her best friend Erick is in Hel, she's a seeress without visions, then when they come they are all messed up, who's a girl to talk to?

What do you do when your visions are so disturbing and they try to make you doubt the only things you are sure of in your crazy world? She finally finds someone who is able to help clear things up but Torin forbids her from seeing them. Can their love survive without answers or trust?

Now as with the rest of the books we have the characters we've come to love. Raine is still the girl we met in the first book but she has grown with the series thus far, I mean she kind of had to with everything she'd been through. It feels like a natural development. She is still confused and unsure of so many things, and I find that refreshing. Having power and knowing how and when to use it are very different things. Then there is her relationship with Torin. If you remember I wrote how much I loved his dark tortured soul. He is horribly flawed but still good. He's a good guy but he's kind of an ass. He does things, all be it for the right reasons, but he is a jerk about it. He is overpowering, manipulative, and dominating, all of which could have turned me completely off from him as a character if it wasn't balanced with his sweet heart and his clear cut reasons why he thought it was the best solution. This could have also turned me away from Raine, giving into someone who is going to demand you do as they say, not hot. Raine calls him on his crap. She fights back but she also knows when to pick her battles. And I give her credit, she gets upset but she isn't as rash as I might be. I'm just saying, someone tells me they won't allow me to do something, that just makes me want to do it all the more and probably will just to prove no one allows me to do anything. Yeah, I'm working on my own issues of adjusting/compromising.

We also get to see more into the world of the others. The Valkyries have been around for a long time, some coming from different areas and different reigns. We got a bit more depth and back story into some of the others which I liked. Also we learn more about our the other types of magic can exist in this world with everything else. I liked learning about the witches also, a whole other community. I also enjoy that even as they are preparing and dealing with so much major stuff they still deal with the normal teenage things that help ground them, TV marathons, sleepovers, double dates, high school gossip and an after school job. What can be more grounding than something simple.

Overall I really liked the newest book in the series and can't wait for me, keeping fingers crossed for more from Cora's POV also. There is so much brewing all waiting for Ragnarök and I can see many more juicy stories coming out of this before the end.

Rating: 5 Artavo

Walters has done it again by releasing another captivating installment in her imaginative Runes series that brings Norse Mythology to life and takes readers into a world where Valkyries, Immortals, and Grimnirs hide in plain sight unbeknownst to mortals around them as they carry out the bidding of their gods and goddesses. Because of her supernatural lineage the young heroine of the series, Raine Cooper, has now become part of this paranormal world, learning to create magical runes and discovering her powers as a Seeress.

I recommend readers new to this series read the books in sequential order to fully understand and appreciate the comprehensive plot that expands in each installment. However, Walters does an excellent job of providing ample exposition throughout the novel to explain and remind readers of important events that occurred in the previous books that remain relevant to this novel’s storyline. She also includes a glossary at the beginning of each installment to help readers become familiar with the Norse terminology frequently used in the narration and dialogue.

Since Raine has learned that she is an extremely powerful Seeress, the one destined to foresee the start of “Ragnarok” or the war leading to the end of the world, her elevated status has made her a target in the Immortal world for those seeking to use her gifts for their own agendas. The Norns continue to antagonize Raine in their efforts to get her to join them, and now a new threat has emerged, one connected to Torin’s past that will test the solidarity of Raine and Torin’s relationship. Finally, I was so glad to learn more about Torin’s family and some painful moments of his past that continue to haunt him.

The attraction and chemistry between Raine and Torin is still as strong as ever, and although they have some intense make out sessions, I admire the restraint they show before letting things go too far. I can appreciate that they are taking their relationship slowly, especially since Raine has experienced so much change in her life in such a short amount of time. Raine isn’t as snarky as when she was first introduced; she’s more serious but still has the feisty streak in her that I like. She also still does a lot of drooling over Torin, which at times was a bit much for me, but I guess it’s typical for a seventeen-year-old who’s in love.

I was glad that many of the supporting characters I’ve grown fond of and have become invested in, such as Andris, Cora, Echo, and Eirik play active roles in this story, and many of these characters continue to grow and change, so they don’t become static and predictable. Andris is still the flamboyant Valkyrie who is endearing one minute and infuriating the next, but in this novel he seems more subdued. Ingrid is becoming stronger and more expressive than she has before. And Eirik’s behavior is becoming more erratic. His attitude hints that he has experienced some traumatic events during his stay in Hel. I hope he will be featured more prominently in the near future.

Walters kept me engaged the entire time as I followed Raine’s journey in learning to discern and control the premonitions she begins to have when she touches people or objects. Her visions are confusing and disturbing and call into question whom Raine can trust. Just as in the previous books, not all is as it seems, and Walters continued to surprise me all the way to the end. I look forward to what’s next for Raine and the gang.

After reading Grimnirs I thought this series couldn’t get any better. Boy, I was wrong. Seeress put the bar really high for the next books in the series. Starting right up where we left in the novella, Grimnirs, Raine is dealing with her sick father, her mother gone and her new Seeress role. Being a witch in the training is not easy when you start having visions about someone coming after you.

Fast, exciting and full of surprises this book is everything you expected and more. The danger seems bigger this time and the words are so charming that is easy to get lost in the reading. FYI, I read the book in less than two days. This installment has a faster speed than the others and there isn’t a single moment of peace.

Raine is stronger than ever, she has grown up to be a decided young woman with good intentions and the determination of protect those she loves. One thing I love about her is her attitude toward Torin's overprotective actions. He is really sexy, strong, loving and all, but he is too suffocating at times and I hate when he tells her what to do so I’m really glad that she doesn’t take orders from him. I think is important to portrait a young woman that doesn’t allow his boyfriend to act like a psycho, there is a line between protecting the ones you love and wanting to control their every move.

I have to say that I love how Raine’s and Torin’s relationship is evolving. They have great chemistry and I love how the heat goes up when they get together. I think the author does a great job transmitting the unconditional love they share.

Of course we get to see the rest of the characters; Andris continues being a hilarious guy. I enjoy seeing Echo again, I'm glad he is here to stay. Cora is present too as well as other characters.
The actions in this book come to action at the end of the book. There are a few exciting moments during the book but the good part is the finale. Is similar to what we read in the previous books. Is a formula that doesn’t fail.

Ednah always create real, tangible and completes worlds and this series is no exception. In this third book she writes amazing dialogues, uses references to contemporary TV series, music and movies creating a fresh and engaging story.

If you have read the previous books, YOU HAVE TO READ Seeress, it brings new elements to the series, the characters you love are better than ever. It has humor, action, love, good fights and the promise of more books in the future.

The Runes Series by Ednah Walter is a creative, engaging, and gripping paranormal romance that I just love. With a Norse Mythology theme in a modern day setting, Ednah Walter's has created a paranormal world that sucks you right up into it. Valkyries, Norns, Grimnirs, Seers, Witches, Immortals, and more are part of this world. Seeress picks up with more of Raine and Torin's story, which I have thoroughly enjoyed watching progress over the course of this series thus far. Raine is now a powerful seeress, even if she doesn't believe or fully understand it yet. She is head over heels in love with the Valkyrie, Torin St. James, who in his hundreds of years of existence has never found love until this 17-year-old feisty and freckled beauty grabs hold of his heart and won't let go. Torin and Raine have faced some tough things together, but some things happen in Seeress that put that love and trust to the ultimate test. Danger lurks around every corner, and things get even more complicated when Raine's visions begin to include Torin.

The Characters: Torin is a Valkyrie who is arrogant and cocky at times, he exudes confidence and sexiness, while having that bad boy persona that girls can't resist. Oh, did I mention he has a British accent and drives a Harley....Oh. yeah. Torin is also fiercely protective of those he loves, especially Raine, and will do anything to keep her safe, even piss her off, but he also knows how to turn on the charm to get himself out of trouble to. Raine becomes more confident of herself in this installment and begins to explore her supernatural abilities on a more intense level. The chemistry between Torin and Raine is hot, which I loved, yet I can't wait to see Ednah Walters take their physical relationship up a notch higher as the series progresses. The secondary characters are awesome. We get to see more Andris, and I have just grown to love Andris, as well as the rest of the gang, and drumroll.....yes Echo and Cora are there. I totally fell in love with Echo in Grimnirs and was so excited to see more of him in this installment, and hope to see even more of him and Cora as the series progresses. I love Echo as much as I do Torin.

If you are a fan of paranormal romance, then The Runes series is something that I think you will be pleasantly surprised and very delighted with. I thoroughly enjoyed Seeress and would most definitely recommend it to all paranormal romance fans.

Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God!

Did this seriously just happen. Ednah Walters is a freaking genius! The feels are there and I'm just in awe at the moment. Please give me a minute to collect my thoughts and emotions.

*20 mins later*

I cannot believe how this ended off. I am totally in love with this conclusion. I love the plot twist at the end. So unbelievable the way these characters were double spies.

First off, Raine is still as fierce as she wants to be. I love that she comes into her powers more in this book and learns to control them and use them without overstepping the boundaries. Being that she's a seeress she is more powerful than the gods, goddesses, norns, immortals and Valkyries. Raine never backed down from anyone throughout this book…not Torin or the norns. She stood up for herself and I love how she grew into her new self.

Torin is still such a hunk. I loved that I got to see more of his emotional or "sensitive" in this book when details about his mother and father was given. It showed that he had compassion for others and not just whipped for Raine. It made me love and appreciate him way more as a character.

Andris is much more lovable in this book even though he can still be snarky. Cora is still badass and knows how to use her gift much better. Echo wasn't around much but after that double date he is so romantic. The new characters Femi, Gina and Rita were quite interesting to say the least.

Eirik sort of pissed me off majority of the time he was in the book. Just how he came back to school and what he did to Mr and Mrs Cooper just disgusted me. However, he saved face and remains a loved character for me. The Earl, Torin's father, is the king of all douchebags. I don't get why he had to exist. Granted learning the true identity of his father and what he did to his mother made the book more intense I just wanted him dead.

The way everything went down when Eirik arrived totally made me mad. I was ready to drop the book, but then finding out Blaine, Femi and the witches betrayed her was even more revolting. However, that plot twist -- man oh man. I just can't believe how it all went down.

Overall, Seeress was the most amazing conclusion ever and I am beyond happy with how the trilogy ended!

Ednah Walters is a brilliant storyteller. She knows how to suck you into her stories and keep you coming back for more. Every book in this series is AMAZING. Seeress does not disappoint. There was always something going on to keep you on your toes. I also really enjoyed getting more background into Torin's past. I love how no matter what is thrown Raine and Torin's way their relationship has been able to weather the storms and come out even stronger than before.

Raine Cooper is not just an Immortal trying to train to be a Valkyrie anymore she is a Seeress with untold power. Unfortunately all that power can do nothing to help her dad. Between watching her father slowly deteriorate, having visions of other Seeress' being harmed from an unknown enemy, trying to learn how to control her new developing powers, and getting to class on time has Raine working double time to not drown under all the pressure.

Torin St. James is a Valkyrie on a mission to keep Raine safe no matter what. He is trying to find the mysterious person who has been selling his families heirlooms especially the de Clare family seal pendant. Torin's overprotective nature is driving Raine up a wall but he knows it is for her own good so he enlists Andris to help him. With Andris helping to keep watch over Raine, Torin and Echo try to find out everything they can about Torin's pendant and Raine's visions.

There are so many things that happen in this book that I want to talk about but I am so afraid to spoil it for anyone. This book, as well as the series, is a must read for EVERYONE. On a scale from 1-10 I give Seeress a resounding 20. With mad writing skills like Ednah's how could it not tip my scale. If you are a fan of the Runes series than the only question would be why haven't you bought this book yet? Everyone needs to run out and buy Seeress and if you haven't read the first two and a half books in this series you need to pick those ones up as well when you buy this book. Torin and Raine's relationship is one of a kind and so worth the read. If you are a fan of Norse Mythology, intrigue, true love, and really fantastic secondary characters than Seeress is the book for you. Come see if Raine can see into your future.

Life can get a little scary when you finally start having visions but, they are of others of your kind being killed. Especially when the person behind it looks an awful lot like the man you love. This is Raine's life now. She tries to live day to day as normal as possible with her Dad's illness slowly getting worse. she has a lot going on. Never really any time to herself. To make matters worse a lot of her support structure is gone. She has her Dad and Torin to lean on. What do you do when you begin to suspect the closest people around you? When trust is questioned who wins?

We get to see a lot of our favorite characters in Seeress. Of course Echo is on the top of my list and him and Torin working together was something I never thought I'd see. I am pretty much addicted to Cora and Echo's story now so I am glad they were frequently in Seeress. We also get to see Eirik too! Yay!! I was so worried about him...still am I guess. One of the people that really surprised me was Ingrid. She has changed a lot since her sisters death. I really like where her character is going and I would love a story for her and Andris!

Raine and Torin are so perfect for each other. This is very evident in this book. They have some pretty intense make out sessions but, decided to wait for anything beyond that. Which is driving me crazy! These two need to hook up already! Ok, now that's out of my system. Torin even is surprised by some of the new people introduced in this one. A person from his past he never thought he'd see again. Even through all this and questionable trust, Raine is still there for Torin and Torin for Raine. Even I was worried about Torin. He does some sneaky stuff and disappears a few times. I was like what is he doing!?! Will Raine be able to trust Torin again?

I love Norse mythology so this series is one of my favorites. I am always curious about these characters and where their stories lead. I am hopeing for an Ingrid and Andris get together and books, as well as one for Eirik! A girl can dream right? If you haven't read this series yet go get it!

Here I thought this series couldn't get any better and...BAM..Ednah's hit us with another brilliant installment. I didn't realize how much I missed these characters until I started reading this book, I really want to start from the beginning and devour them all over again.

I swear Ednah writes with a magical pen (or types with a magic keyboard lol), every book she's brought out I've fallen in love with, this Lady will never disappoint you and will always leave you breathless and wanting more. I cannot praise her work enough!

In the last book Raine found out that she's a Seeress, a powerful one at that. She starts having visions, visions which keep showing that someone is using other Seeress' to get to her.
On top of all these new abilities she's dealing with her mother standing trial, her father dying, her (sexy) Valkyrie boyfriend acting weird, being overprotective (which was cute) and keeping things from her. And still going to high school everyday.
Raine never ceases to amaze me with what she can take on.

Mmmmm Torin St James, I think I missed him the most. Still hot as ever and can still make me laugh with his cheekiness towards Raine. We learn more about Torin's past in this book, it was sad and heartbreaking, I wanted to be Raine and comfort him and make it all better. Makes you love him even more!

So glad we got more of Raine's best friend Cora and her boyfriend, Echo (another hottie). The gang was all back and bringing an exhilarating adventure with them. As always I was left dying for more. I can't wait for the next installment, I need to know what will happen next!

Brilliant..Brilliant..BRILLIANT!!!!

Ednah Walters

"Every moment you look into my eyes and whisper you love me, I give you a piece of myself. Yet loving you feeds my soul. Kissing you reaffirms what I believe deep down in my core- that you and I belong together."

So I really love Torin but in this book it infuriates me by how he treats Raine but once he smirks I forget that I'm angry with him just like Raine and this gets me angrier. He doesn't back down no matter what. If Raine is angry with him he is calm and just smirks which causes us (Raine and me of course), to want to leave the room but he just grabs Raine and all is forgiven. I like that they are always bickering and that Raine doesn't back down because he is way too overprotective of her (which is nice SOMETIMES). So this book really shows us how Raine is a very powerful seeress. It shows us some of the visions she has and how her powers can go beyond that (once she can control them). I really like how this book shows the start of her barley learning and I'm sure the other books that will follow will show her strength growing with time. So something is going on in this book because seeresses all over and being targeted and Raine could be next. Torin and the gang are trying to figure out what is going on and you won't believe who is responsible. It's a little shocking because it is someone from Torin's past. Who will it be? Read the book to find out all the juicy details.

Well Ednah has done it again! I loved the Runes series...

I never write reviews because i never want to give another people good or bad vibes on the books that I read so they can make there own judgements....
but I just couldn't help my self with this series...

I loved Torin St. James he is every girls dream guy from the tall dark and sexy with gorgeous startling blue eyes I fell in love with him from the first book. I love Raine and Torins relationship she doesn't take shit from him and keeps him on his toes. I love that Raine has grown so much through the series and she is not one of them topical teens sooks that need saving, I love that she does she saving as well.

Raine has really grown into herself and becoming so much more than I thought She could in this book, I see her getting stronger, once she works out what she is capable Of i can see her having so much more power then any other characters.

I loved that there so many twists and turns, I didn't know who was on what side and I loved that you didn't know until the end! It kept me on my toes and I never got bored once! Sometimes I tend to skim read if a book bored me or I new the out come.

If you love young adult books with gods, Seeress, witches, immortals, Valkyries, sole reapers, love romance that's not at all over done I recommend this book... Enjoy!

Continues to be a very addicting series!!

All the characters are amazing and have developed such great relationships with each other, you never would have guessed that from the first book Runes. The story really develops in this book with the surprising discovery of who is after Raine and killing other seers. It also dives into Torin's family history which I always love since he is almost a thousand years old. More of my favorite side story from Grimnirs with Cora and Echo. Raine and Torin are super cute and obviously completely in love with each other even if they are a little obnoxious when they are fighting. The norns continue to be a pain in the butt for the group always trying to push their own agenda on Raine.

I continue to love this series and the novellas, I have a very hard time putting these books down. The ending was great leaving you wanting more but not leaving you hanging, I have a hard time when something major happens and you have to wait a year to find out. I cannot wait to see what Ednah has in store for us next in the Runes series.

So i started this series, and read like a book a day. This is definitely a kiss the kids and husband, pack the freezer with meals they can pop in the oven so they don't starve, and tell them goodbye for a while kind of Series. This is an amazing book. I will warn you!......If you are switching and reading Torin and Raine and then Cora and Echo this book may frustrate you at first. Don't be discouraged. Book 2 is about Cora and Echo and their love burns so hot compared to Torin and Raine. Also Torin and Raine are facing MUCH harsher realities than Cora and Echo. This book centers around Raine and her coming to grips with her life as a Seeress and what that will mean for her and those she loves. Not only that but her Mom is away on trial to determine whether she can become a Valkyery again or not, Her father is dying from brain Cancer, Her best friend has found true love and ditched her, Her other best friend has gone to Hel with his mother and she hasn't heard from him since. Oh, and did i mention witches have taken over her town and are searching for her??? Can she balance all these balls or is one of them destined to drop? Read this book and find out!

Amazing, Addicting, Action, Humor, and Love...
Once again Ednah pulled at my heart with every page. With what is going on with Raine's dad, her mom gone, and someone out to get her, Raine has to get it together before everything falls apart. We get to see most of the old crew from the other books and meet a few new people this time.
In each of the Rune series books I fall in love with each character more and more. Seeress did not disappoint, just when I thought I knew what was going to happen next Ednah surprised me.
I hate to admit it, but I actually, for real, started crying when my Kindle would not turn any more pages showing that it was over. Though it ended well, I just didn't WANT it to end. lol
I can't wait for the next book in the series. Thank you for another wonderful story.
