Beautiful Monster 2 is the second and final book in the Beautiful Monster series by Bella Forrest. The book begins at the close of the summer and Amy is about to begin her year as a graduate student at school. Amy and Liam’s relationship has been going well, even with the loss of Porsche.

But, the year holds surprises neither of them could have planned for. Amy and Liam begin receiving visitors, other vampires that have also been sired by Selene. They want Liam to help them to kill Selene. If she was dead, they would all be returned to human form. And Selene has continued to make all of their existence a living hell. And if he was a human, Liam could have a normal relationship with his beloved Amy. But Amy’s HIV takes a turn for the worse. And with the stress of preparing for their plan to kill Selene, Amy’s career taking off, and her disease progressing, their relationship suffers. Also, Sarah, Amy’s best friend, has been admitted to the school so she was an addition that made an unexpected impact on Liam and Amy.

This is a quick book and all things are nicely concluded. For me, though, the book was just ok. I did enjoy getting closure to Amy and Liam’s story but neither of their characters really affected me or made an impact on me. I did anticipate how it was going to end as well. All in all, though, it was a sweet paranormal romance.

A disappointing end to this series. First, I wish the author hadn't decided to end the series.

Dislikes...
I thought Liam was so selfish in this book. I hated they way he described her blood. I found it very disrespectful. I also didn't like reading about his party nights out.

The book had a lot of filler and seemed to drag at times and then fast forward at other times.

The ending... Why wasn't this an option the entire series???? Nothing was mentioned in book two, maybe it was discussed in the first book. I can't recall.

Also the plan for Selene.. Didn't understand the reason for the change up.

Also Sarah's character was all over the place. Didn't care for her for most of the book.

This was the sequel and final book in this series. This book was a little better than the first one.

I don't know what is was about these books, I liked them, but they seemed to fall a little flat for me.

This book continues the story of Amy and Liam. Amy is starting her graduate year and continuing her romance with Liam. Several things are happening, she gets a part on a TV show, vampires keep showing up and asking for her, her friend starts going to school with her, and she is still dealing with the fact that she is HIV positive.

The vampires are on a quest to kill Selene, their sire, so it will break the spell and return them to humans. A plan is devised and practiced...Will it work? Tune in and see...

I've been a huge fan of Bella's since I read A shade of Vampire a year ago but I have to say that for me this book was missing something, I struggled a little with the first book due to the fact that Liam's change was so painful, I can't actually say what it was I didn't like but when I read a shade book I become totally absorbed in what I'm reading and this didn't happen with this, now Shade has the advantage of being a long series 5 so far and counting but I was gripped from the very first one so it's not that, this just didn't seem to have the same maturity and depth.
Anyway criticism aside this is still a good vampire romance and it's a class above a lot of books in this genre so well worth a read.

I hoped with a 2nd book that it would get better and closer to the greatness that it her other series, A Shade Of Vampire. Unfortunately it was not, it was very angsty and not her greatest work. I will continue to look forward to books by this author because she does have the ability to write great stories and characters just not this series.

A beautiful story

The two bks in this series is another example of the Bella Forrest 's extremely artistic style of writing that she gives to everything she writes. I experienced every form of emotion while reading this. And I couldn't seem to put it down, I had to know what was going to happen next. I truly recommend this series to young adults and older. And if you enjoy this series as much as I have, please by all means check out all of Bella Forrest other series. I believe you will be happy that you did.

Excellent Read

When reading a book by Bella Forrest it is almost impossible to put it down. I love her style of writing. I have read her entire Shade series and am anxiously waiting for the next book to be released. I decided to read Beautiful Monster 1 and 2 while waiting and am so glad that I did!

Vampire celebrities

Awesome book. Bella Forrest is such a great story teller. I read the beautiful monster first book and just finished book 2 while waiting for the shade of vampire book 48 to be released. It was a great love story set in the modern day theater venue. The story kept me captivated.

Better than the first

I started reading this book immediately after finishing the first book. This one was full of action, twists, and turns. I shed too many tears to count. I would give this book 4.25 stars if I could. It was a good, easy read, and was an interesting take on the supernatural world. If you are looking for quick reads I would suggest this series.
