What in the Dio-bone-photosynthesizing-leaf-baby??? I find it interesting how many Jojo tropes get reused throughout the series. I don't mind it, as someone who likes reincarnation themes in general, but I couldn't help but think of Kakyoin's fight with Death 13 back in Stardust Crusaders.
It seems that Jolynne can't take more than five steps without running into the next "bizarre" stand user. Stone Ocean has been packed full of stands so far, and it's been really fun to see them all. This volume also packs in a great fight between F.F. and Pale Snake, full of lots of suspense as they discover the man behind the stand and desperately try to relay this info back to Jolynne before dehydrating. We're also getting more of Anastasia, and I'm actually enjoying his creepy obsession with Jolynne.... it provides a nice humorous balance to the gory fight scenes occurring every other chapter.
- hell no! - I'm pretty sure a dillemma will happen when jolyne discovers the identity of the green baby - I won't deny that FF's efforts were legendary
Bueno, tremendo cliffhanger al final. A esperar otro mes para ver qué pasa. Eso sí, el tema gore sigue escalando. Los guiños a ocurrencias reales con sectas han estado bastante bien. Anasui es... Peculiar.
