Agent Brant Scott knows when a battle is lost. He’s been an integral part of hunting down members of the del Fuego cartel for years, but it’s not the violent criminals that have the ability to bring him to his knees. That honor belongs to one woman. And after spending a night in Darcy MacKenzie’s bed, he knows he has to disappear from her life or risk her finding out the one secret that can make her despise him forever.
Darcy MacKenzie is hell on wheels. At least that’s what her brothers tell her. And when she has the chance to work with the elite team assigned to destroy the most dangerous drug cartel in the world, she jumps at the chance to lend her expertise by deciphering the Mayan hieroglyphs the cartel is using to send messages.
The only problem is her partner is none other that Brant Scott—the only man she’s ever loved and the one who left her without a backward glance. With secrets of her own—and a body built for sin—Darcy is more than an equal match for the stubborn Brant. But loving each other could be more of a risk than either is willing to take.
SECRETS AND SATIN
No one knows heartbreak like Jade Jax. After losing her husband to a tragic death, she doesn’t believe love can happen twice. But after years of living a half-life without her husband, her body starts to waken again, and needs she’d forgotten come to the surface.
Max Devlin never thought Jade would want him outside of his dreams, but fate plays a helping hand when they’re thrust into a high stakes mission, protecting each other’s backs like old times. Max decides he’s finally ready to end his bachelor ways, but he learns quickly that happily-ever-after isn't always possible. Because Jade has no desire to ever love again. Not when she knows how painful it can be.
SINS AND SCARLET LACE
Declan MacKenzie has loved the same woman for as long as he can remember, but after a mission early on in his career turns deadly, he realizes he can never have a wife or family and keep them safe. So he watches her marry another man.
Sophia Huxley is involved in a nightmare. Her late husband has been labeled a traitor and he's made her the fall guy. There's no one she can call to prove her innocence. Except the man who broke her heart.
Liliana Hart spent five years teaching music in the public education system. She molded America’s youth, busted kids for smoking pot in the restrooms, and broke up illicit affairs behind the stage on a regular basis. (Liliana’s Addison Holmes Mystery Series, about a small town teacher who gets into a whole lot of trouble, is somewhat autobiographical, but she won’t confess to which parts).
Liliana began reading romance novels with all her new found free time, and when she ran out of things to read, she decided to write her own novels. The result was a 150,000 word thriller—a dazzling adventure—where the heroine was a thirty-year-old virgin assassin (Yes, you read that right). She couldn’t imagine why people weren’t knocking down her door to read it, but she persevered and began writing a second book. She finally got the hang of things, and eventually learned that losing one’s virginity wasn’t all that romantic after all. All of her books involve some kind of suspense (she just can't help herself), laughter, and a lot of steamy sex.
Since the failure of her first attempt, Liliana’s books have won awards such as: The Daphne Du Maurier, The Suzannah, The Linda Howard Award of Excellence, The Maggie, and many others. Her affiliations include Romance Writers of America and Mystery Writers of America.
Liliana loves to cook, and is addicted to reading, Internet Boggle, kickboxing, and Bones. She lives in a big, rambling house in Texas with a couple of cats to keep her company. She loves to get emails from readers.
LOVED IT! This is where the Mackenzie Family just jumped off the page for me. The "more" that I'd wanted with the original Mackenzie stories was here in the Mackenzie Security Series and I couldn't put it down. It was literally my antidote for the polar vortex. Plus it sets us up for Shane's story and even a gives a little glimpse into the lives of the older generation of Mackenzies. Bravo! And Encore please.
***Unsolicited Review***I read this whole series in a couple of days. I started and just could not put it down. The MacKenzies are hot, and the stories were riveting. I now want to read all the MacKenzie books and everything else Liliana Hart writes. Each story was different, and my favorite was the last one with Declan MacKenzie. Each had action, hot sex and great dialogue. Thanks for making my weekend.
Overall, the reads were fast paced and very sexy. The plots, well, a little far-fetched and the characters all believed they were too flawed to have relationships
Still, they were enjoyable stories and lots of good supporting characters
SHADOWS AND SILK - The action and mystery in this story overrode the tedious unrequited love of Darcy and Brant, thank God. The brothers, cousins and close friends that are agents or Seals fight to take down a cartel king pin and Brant finally realizes how much he loves Darcy. SECRETS AND SATIN - Max and Jade, who have been friends and co-workers for years, realize they love each other and fight crime together. Good story addition for the MacKenzies. SKINS AND SCARLET LACE - This time Dec finally gets his long lost love Sophie. Through betrayal from a fellow agent and he thought friend, he fights for his family and through the trauma to his brother.
The first 3 books in the series. Fanfreakingtastic read. The characters and the dialogue make this bundle exciting, dramatic and sexy as hell. Very tingle worthy. I want to be part of this family. Because being in this family shows love, loyalty, duty, forgiveness and living life to the fullest. MacKenzie family rocks.
Absolutely loved this box set of hot sexy men and their strong independent women! These boxes encompass everything, love, second chance, steamy sex and loyalty to family.
I fell for the MacKenzie family with Cade’s story then I prayed and prayed for Declan’s.
The three stories in this book were well written. Plots and characters nicely developed.
Darcy and Brant are first up. Darcy has loved Brant since she was a teenager and too young for him to acknowledge his attraction. Darcy is one strong female and has to be to deal with not only her uber alpha brothers but Brant also. Brant has loved her in return but knows she’s too young for the things he wants to do to her. But when her life is threatened, there’s not a damn thing he won’t do to save her.
Max and Jade are up next. I loved Max from the start but Jade had to grow on me. I did love the fact that she was of mixed race. Max has loved Jade for a long time. He loved her while she was married to his friend Donovan. He loved and cared for her after Donovan was killed. Jade is not a girlie girl. She could kill you from a thousand yards away and had a ton of issues to work through. Max was just the man to help her realize she was more than she believed herself to be.
Then there's the man I’d been waiting for, Declan. I was so looking forward to his story and was a disappointed that it was shortest one. It felt a bit rushed, but still good. He is always taking care of everyone else but not of himself. He is the ultimate leader and takes his role very seriously. He is deadly and resourceful. He let the love of his life go to under the guise of "protecting" her. Once he reunites with her he spends the rest of the time atoning for his mistake. He is not afraid to let her know he loves her with everything he is. I liked Sophia. After everything she went through she still had a backbone of steel. Even though it was the shortest of the stories to me it was the most heartfelt.
I loved all 3 books. The males are dominance but when it comes to the loves of their lives they aren’t afraid to show how much they love them. The ending too me by surprise and made me cry as I didn’t expect that to happen to Shane. Can't wait for his book. I love all the MacKenzie men.

Loving the MacKenzie's. Liliana Hart does it again. The MacKenzie men and women just get better and better.
Shadows & Silk
Darcy Mackenzie is a woman who has loved one man her whole life. Now she just wants to move on. He just doesn't seem to care about her.
Brant Scott can't give his heart away again. He did it once and it nearly killed him. He doesn't know if he can survive give his heart to Darcy. He can't lose her but he also can't live without her.
Secrets & Satin
Max and Jade aren't MacKenzie by birth or by name but they are MacKenzie's. Reading these books, makes you realise family is about the people round you, not the people who share your surname. Family is bigger than surname if you let. Mac and Jade are lucky to be part of the MacKenzie family. They are lucky to have each other.
Sins & Scarlet Lace
Declan doesn't give his heart to anyone but he did give it to Sophia 10 years ago.
Sophia can't get over Declan breaking her heart 10 years ago and she doesn't want to trust him again.
these are all so good, really liking the glimpses of shane through these last few since he survived the blast. very well written showing the despair and useless feeling these heroes suffer after injuries like these and the battle to start fighting back again. not many authors cover this subject as its hard to know how it will received by those reading, I think its important that we understand even in a small way how hard this is for all our military dealing with life changing injuries. well done liliana the only other author Ive read who covered this is harper sloan in corps security
I started this series in the middle with Cade. The three stories in this book were done well. Darcy and Brant, sister and brother-in-law to Cade is a great love story. She's loved him since she was a teenager and too young for him to acknowledge his attraction. This leads to quite the coming together for these too. Darcy can more than hold her own with her Alpha brothers as well as Brant. Max and Jade was an incredibly sweet and scorchingly hot story. Love, love, LOVE Max! Max has always loved her even when she was married to his friend. Donovan was killed and in the aftermath Jade has her own issues to overcome. Their chemistry is epic. Then there's Declan. I was so looking forward to his story and was a bit disappointed with it being the shortest one. It seemed rushed, but still a good story. Small Spoiler alert: Shane broke my heart but can't wait for his story. Also if you didn't know, Kill Shot is Gabe Brennan's story. The one irritation with this series is the writer's penchant for giving the Alphas the same dialogue when it comes to sex.
I'v Got to say I loved this book but Brant was a bit of a twat to Darcy. BOOK7-Darcy had loved brant since she was a child and brant never show interest till had to protect her in Cade's story. Some of the stuff brant came out with for the reasons he can't love Darcy I thought were really stupid but the story so good u kind of go with flow. Great action and maya mystery. Great HEA.BOOK8-I loved this story, I'm so glad we got to find out what happen between jade and max. Even tho their not blood Mackenzie but they are adopted Mackenzie's. Did drag a little when we kept coming back to jade feeling good enough for max even tho he told her constantly how much she meant to him. Great HEA.BOOK9-OMG amazing book. Has absolutely everything. I love how Declan had to work really hard to get Sophia to truth him again. I'm chewing my nails for Shane's story but as his books not next but really looking forward to archer story.
Shadows and Silk I can't get enough of the MacKenzie family. I love all the characters and reading Brant and Darcy story wasn't disappointing. I love the adventure and the sex between them was hot. Every time I read this series I can never put it down. Can't wait to read the next Secrets and Satin This series gets better and better and the men get hotter. I always seem to never be able to put this series down. I love all the characters in this series, can't wait to read more Sins and Scarlet Lace Love this series. It just gets better and better. I've been waiting for Declan's story and I was not disappointed. I can never put this series down. Can't wait to read Sizzle next
This are fantastic books...just like all her MacKenzie Family books!! Sins and Scarlet Lace (Declan and Sophia's story) is my favorite. I am super excited for The Navy SEALS series that she will start that starts with Shane's story. READ THESE BOOKS
Three books in one. Great romance and suspense. Two brothers and their sister find loveable fight in evil. Warning, all three books contain very mature scenes. Lone the Mackenzie family.
This series gets better with each instalment. The thrill, humour, heartache and romance is so touching and mind bogglingly engaging I can't wait to read the next book. Thank you Lillian for another high caliber story
I love these MacKenzies, and these adventures - as Shane refer to them as - will make you fall in love with each of these men just that little bit more, wishing they were real and offering to rescue and love you. These were all reviewed separately when I read them.
