Before I would get my hands on GURPS Basic Set books for the, then new (2004), fourth edition rules, Steve Jackson Games offered a preview of that edition’s format for monsters in this third edition “Ready for Fourth Edition” book.
Many of the stats looked the same, but ‘dialed up’ in a cleaner presentation. This later became called a, “Wall of text” or “Wall of stats” in their forums. After you got used to them, they worked well as stat blocks go.
It sold me on trying that new edition and I haven’t stopped expanding my collection yet (2019).
