Plus-size college senior Cecelia is all set for a long weekend at her parents' lake house, but her car won't start. Family friend Aiden offers a simple solution, she can ride with him on the back of his motorcycle. He promises to drive slowly, but it's not a fear of crashing that's stopping Cece from getting on the back of Aiden's bike. She's worried about what will happen when the engine is thrumming between her legs and she is pressed up against the big hard body of her secret crush. ********* This 24,900+ novella is for readers who enjoy secret crushes, big curves and bad boys with big bikes. *********

1 star.. round up.. it would have been hire.. if he act mpre alpha and other stuff..
This was a republished book? Never read the orginal book...so if you have can you tell me what the difference is??
Lets start!!! i don't like my hero's being all in one second and out the next.
Since he took her vcard.. and was her only experience he didn't want that..(wtfff) he wanted to be her "last" and kinda rejected her.. he told her she needed to date others so she can have experience... so she doesn't second guess his want/love..
WHAT TYPE OF BS IS THAT??
And i hate that and she does go on a date cuz he kinda told her to..like girl.. really??
And hear is where some drama happens that didnt need to happen.. her father misunderstood something and thinks Adien is fking someone.. so she thinks he wants her and eating cake to.. :/ so cece is hurt and she ask him if thats true.. he is hurt but he doesn't tell her he is or isnt fking someone...(he never did he cleared it up at that moment until near the end of the book he finally told her) he just tells her lets have one last fuck to get eachother out of their systems and she leaves heartbroken... 😑😐 what happened to "i wanna be your last." That isn't a alpha i want..
Months go by and she can't be around everyone (him) so she ends up getting a job somwhere far.. she says her last goodbyes.. and she tells Adien sorry for the misunderstanding and all that. They do talk and BOOM!! All is forgiven... :/ his ass could have told her this MONTHS ago.. but nope he was a coward.. they wasted months..

Slowish-insta Push/pull from H No condom Hea Epilogue
This is the first book I've read by this author, and it's awful. The storytelling and characterization are juvenile. At one point the heroine says in her own thoughts that no one had touched her "down there". I'm so tired of books about curvy girls that are full of fat shaming and self hatred. Again, the heroine's own thoughts are that she's disgusting.
Spoiler alert: The so-called hero knowingly takes her virginity, then rejects her because he wants her but she needs to have "experience" before she settles down. He pushes her away, but in the end she's the one apologizing for her lack of trust and communication .
Love when I find a hot and steamy book. So good to see an author writing with a plus size heroine. We don’t see those often and to me it’s a fresh breath of air. These two were great younger woman and old man (about 10 years). This is my first book by this author. Can’t wait to read more from her. **Available on Kindle Unlimited at the time of review**
This was a pretty good story. I liked both characters for the most part. A few things annoyed me. First is that Aiden said he had feelings for Cecelia for a few years now but had only been celibate for a year. I like my heroes to be celibate for as long as there is feelings involved. Second, their lack of communication. They were separated for so long and could have avoided that by having a simple conversation. Also Aiden pushing CeCe to date others seemed crazy, lol. I understood his logic but he should have trusted CeCe and what she was feeling. Other than this I really enjoyed the story. I like my romances to have a little angst and a little drama as long as it’s not ow drama.
Safety and Spoilers Completely safe. H has been celibate for about a year, h is a virgin. There is no om drama and a little ow drama but it’s not the H’s fault, the woman was a liar. h does go on a date with om but there is no spark there and they become just friends. There is a long separation because of ow lies and miscommunications. No abuse.
Nope. Not a fan of the self depreciation from the h and the H well.. How he figured that was the best advice to give someone you are in love with is ridiculous.
I enjoyed Aiden and Cece's story, so sweet and delicious, even with the miscommunication between the two and more lovable for their insecurities. These two were made for each other and no matter what they found their way. I love Aiden a lot because he is a good man, but mostly because he treats her so well. Cece is obv younger and doesn't have much self-esteem but she trusts him. Can't wait to read more
A frustrating read due to unskilled, unsexy writing and two main characters who were too stubbornly stupid to live. The guy especially aggravated me with his "I want to be your last lover...and by that I mean you need to fuck more guys before you end up with me, so, you know, let's break up so you can get busy with that". Ugh!!!!!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
as usual my main problem here was when then H and h had an argument and split, the H fucked OT all the while SUPPOSEDLY WAITING FOR h! on the other hand the h could barely date. I can't feel ok about her accepting that fact!! like wtf! ?! not at all realistic! :,(
I'm reading all these BBW romances for research and I've liked some, but this is not one of those. What happens to those characters?? That man is "in love" with her and tells her to go fuck other men, right after telling her he wants to be her last lover?!
Aiden and Cece's attraction is undeniable. They have feelings for each other but neither fight for what they want. Both characters are way too passive. I wanted more action on either Aiden or Cece's part. Good story just a very quick ending. The ending left me wanting more.
I liked a few things about this book, such as the 'plus size' heroine and the sizzling chemistry between the two, and the setting. But Aiden was a bit of an as*hole sometimes and the story itself felt a bit forced/too much too soon.
DNF @ 32% due to "your" vs "you're", a total absence of attempt at any storyline or creating anything other than porn, and some frankly revolting descriptions. Authors, please don't use the word "cream" as a euphemism. You aren't Molière. I don't want to hear about your cream tarts.
What this book lacks in People of Colour or Queer Content, it still contains marginalisation. We have a big woman, Cece, as our protagonist who self-describes as having “fattitude”, which is amazing. Across from her, Aidan, our main antagonist is a tradesman with a childhood filled with trauma, some of which was poverty related, & a sibling in prison.
Characters are well rounded given the length of the book. Cece in particular demonstrates believable insecurity surrounding her body size. Aidan’s reluctance to try & tie Cece down, given their age difference, also makes sense.
Perhaps I’m giving the book a little more credit than its due, because the sex scenes are Mindblowing. Mind. Blowing. The detail put into these encounters is just perfect. You know exactly what’s going on, without being frustrated by too much flowery language. The sexual contact males sense for the settings, is hugely satisfying, & yet still leaves you wanting just a bit more. There’s a good balance between the physical description of encounters, the effects on Cece’s body, & the emotional/psychological effects.
Best sex I’ve read since Sydney Bristol.
But how does it measure up to my usual questions?
Were there POC? Not explicitly, much to my chagrin.
Were there Queer/GLITTFAB characters? One secondary character! Cece helped him outlast bigotry throughout High School.
Would I recommend this book? In a HEARTBEAT. Just for those sex scenes I’d push it on people, but the story itself was pretty decent.
Would I reread this book? Ohhhhhhhhh yeah. You bet your sweet porn collection I will!
Was the read worth my time? Gosh, it feels like it was over a little too soon. It only took me a few hours, but that was time very well spent.
I can hardly wait to attack the rest of the series… 😏
This was steamy hot! But the only reason why I couldn’t give this higher than a 3 stars is because I hate when authors use a miscommunication as a major plot device. Overall it was entertaining.
To start, I thought that this book had so much potential. A curvy heroine, friends-to-lovers scenerio, a little bit of a forbidden feel to it and a major case of long, simmering desire. Sounds great right? So how can you go wrong? Well, to start it didn't. At the beginning the book delivers just what you want and expect. Sizzle, heart and steaminess. However, then things take a turn for the worse. I will not give away spoilers and my opinion of this book is just that. MY opinion. Others will read this book and love it and that is just fine. But the way Aiden acted and the things he said or didn't say came across as both illogoical and unrealistic to me. You get just what you've been waiting for and wanting and then you go in this direction?! I tried to understand that he had some baggage but once these issues started he acted younger and more immature than CeCe, who had body image issues, was never in a real relationship and had no experiences to draw on. I felt that Cecelia deserved so much better than what she got from him. In the end things did get back on track to end on a very sweet and spicy note. Still, even though I enjoyed so much about this book, its hero took the polish off of it for me. This is my honest, voluntary review.
This was a good short book. Cece has been in love with Aiden for years but know he will never feel the same not only is she plus sized but Aiden is good friends and partners with her dad. Then one day Cece has car problems on the way to their families lake house and Aiden is there to help her. Feels they both share are relieved but the most important question is is Cece ready for forever. This is the second book I've read from Christa Wick and they keep getting better. I loved both Aiden and Cece and even though this is a novella I felt like I got a complete story and I easily grew to care about both Cece and Aiden.
When Cecelia’s crush on Aiden becomes real, as in he wants her to, all her dreams come true. But there is more going on in Aiden’s head and when he pushes her away...will she do what he asks and come back to him. A good read with steam and great characters but I was missing his POV, what he was thinking when he pushes her away, when she believes what she heard, how his feelings grew for her and when, why did he decide to finally come out with his feelings. I did like Cecelia’s POV and I could understand her doubts about herself. I loved their sparks and chemistry and when she finally believes Aiden sees her as beautiful. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
I love a good older man/younger woman, daddy’s best friend romance and this one does not disappoint! Cece has lusted after Aidan since her early teens but never thought she had the chance. Aiden wants nothing more than his best friend and business partner’s daughter despite the risks. One long ride on his motorcycle and some hanky panky in the kitchen and they’re both goners. I absolutely love Cece’s mom who is 110% on board with the two of them getting together. Such a great story.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This book was VERY short...I literally read it in maybe 15 minutes. Now, I know that the whole step-siblings is a bit too close to incest but this one isn't like that. They didn't actually grow up together, so that made it much, much better for me.
Holy fuck, this book steamy! It ended kind of abruptly and left me wanting to know more. But, it's a nice short read...and will leave you sweating ;)
This is a really enjoyable book from Christa Wick and I didn’t want to put it down. “Curvy Attraction” has a great, entertaining storyline and really well written, engaging characters. I really liked them. Their engaging chemistry and interaction kept me hooked on their story. This is a really good, must read book from this author and I was engrossed from beginning to end
