The best!

This is the best book on the topic that I had ever found. It is more geared toward the life sciences but with a little bit of discernment about the things that are particular to that specific branch of science, it is an invaluable resource for scientists whether they are graduate students or professionals. I highly recommend it.

An excellent and very detailed guide. There is something for every stage of an academic career, from posters to grant writing, including of course scientific articles. However, I would have started with broad-scale organization rather than with working and style. Also, there are commonalities in (scientific) communication that emerge from reading the book: emphasis on clarity, specificity, short is better than long, precision, accuracy... which are treated separately in each section, making parts of the book redundant.

Excellent reference when drafting your first research article manuscript, curriculum vitae, and research proposal. The material provides examples for each situation that you might experience in your research/academic career.
