Rate this book
Ever since college student Amelia Caldwell moved to Willowberg, her life has been in turmoil. But with the evil vampire hunters no longer terrorizing the town, Willowberg is once again peaceful.

With a little help from Mother Nature and a dream for a better future, Mitchell has found himself in a predicament—after eight hundred years of being immortal, he is now a human while his soulmate is a vampire.

Now all Amelia and Mitchell have to do is hide from the world until his body can handle the change. But when Mitchell gets a cold, all hell breaks loose.

With an unexpected resistance rising, and an unexplained deadline from the spirits, Amelia realizes that this is a fight she cannot win alone. One thing is clear, though: to save Mitchell, he needs to change—again. But if he does, what chance does he have of surviving it?

5 Spellbinding, Sensational Stars!
An Amazing Ride I'm Going To Miss Waiting For!

The Review:
I absolutely love this series and these characters. And as much as I loved this last book, I'm sorry to see their adventures come to an end... but wow, what an ending!

Story...
The Soulmate bond may be back in place but things are uncertain and ever changing in Willowberg.

In the last book, the Soulmates bond took a break while Amelia worked through her angsts, and during that time, the humans, who had a moments taste of freedom, are now fighting their Vampire mates, who are stronger, faster and more demanding than humans, so obviously theres going to be trouble. The bond is causing all sorts of problems, resulting in excruciating plain or deaths on both sides of the species and finding a solution has become paramount, especially as Vampires are becoming increasingly aggressive and possessive.

But each of our mains have their own personal crisis going on as well. Mitchell is now human after eight hundred years of being immortal. Him being out of the leadership role and things resulting into chaos in the Vampire community is the least of his problems. Having been immortal, he never had to deal with sickness so his body never built up immunities to common diseases, such as a cold, which now seems to be killing him.

Amelia is now a magic using Vampire and her urges, rages and temper seem to be flaring at the most inconvenient times. Fear and stubbornness are keeping her from accomplishing the things she needs to in order to fix Mitchell, fix the bond and become what she’s destined to be.

Eric has had to step up in Mitchells absence but he and Megan are finding themselves on opposite sides of the Vampire/Human/Soulmate debate. Luke and Lola seem to be the only stable partners in the household but even Lola is having troubles in her new position as maker. Tyler and Angelle are in the middle of their own crisis as their future is uncertain and the entire Vampire nation has resorted to using their soulmates as feeding bags since the town has cut off their volunteer blood supply.

With everyone going in separate directions, everyone having their own problems to sort out and the bond spell reeking havoc, Amelia must discover her path in her new life as well as a resolution to the bond issue before its too late for her, Mitchell and everyone else she cares about.

Times is running out!

Characters...
Amelia struggles to find a balance with the Vampire newly raging inside her and the powerful magic pulsing within. She has to really pull deep on her patience to keep from exploding and it doesn’t always work. She’s a ticking time bomb full of out of control power and strength.

Mitchell being human was a real eye opener for him as well as me, the reader. Where as he was this strong, formidable force before, he’s now almost humbled as his strength wanes. He’s having to learn to live life in a way he’s not had to deal with before and its exhausting as well as painful. But he’s still the family’s leader, their protector, the one they go to when things are uncertain... their father figure. Without Mitchell, they all fold and they know it.

Mitchell and Amelia have come a long way since book one but they still struggle to find their balance throughout this read. They both let pride, fear and love cloud their reason and because of that, they both suffer. They know that working together always sorts their problems faster and in better ways but they are both strong in mind and will. They’ve yet to realize their true strengths are in each other... together. But they are getting there.

I really loved the roll reversals we get with Mitch experiencing what it is like being human in the Vampire/Human relationship. He gets a feel for what Amelia went through and he gets a better understanding of what the soulmates feel. He’s fortunate though. Where he tried to impose his will on Amelia, using their bond to try and bend her to his will, she tries hard not to do the same to him when she’s now the one with the power.

But I also loved that Amelia got a real taste of what Mitch goes through too. Having all that control over a person but having to hold yourself steady and avoid the temptations of using it, when it would be so easy. They learned from these experiences and they grew as individuals as well as a couple.

All the other couples came to terms with their issues as well and I loved seeing everyone get a resolution.

The Wrap Up:
CHANGED was fun, thrilling, entertaining, heartwarming and so well written. And it had an amazing Epilogue! All my questions were answered and everything was wrapped up nicely but leaves a bit of room for more should this storyline continue, which I can’t help but hope for. I love these books so much! This entire series has stunning visuals, a fantastic story and the characters will keep you entertained throughout all the books! I can’t recommend this series enough and I'm sure if you give it a chance, you’ll love the entire Lang family as much as I do!

Writing Style:
In comparison to the other books in this series, The Soul's Mark: CHANGED is definitely the best. With every new novel, Ashley Stoyanoff's writing just keeps getting better! When I read her writing, it feels like I'm watching a television show because everything seems so realistic. This book covers many critical events in the plot, all of the key events that make up The Soul's Mark series. The plot could have easily became a jumbled mess, purely do to all the things going on. I was amazed at how she brought everything together and how smoothly everything panned out to be. She did a fantastic job in particular with the ending because it leaves you feeling satisfied. A wonderful conclusion for a brilliantly addictive series!

My Opinion:
Can somebody say, OMG WOW like seriously! This book blew me away. I read the entire thing in one sitting, only stopping to take mini breaks to eat and use the bathroom. I couldn't put it down or read it fast enough. I was so terribly afraid to read this because I knew this could possibly be the very last book in The Soul's Mark series. It took me many months to prep myself to deal with the idea of not being able to read more from this series. All good things must come to an end I guess, right?

What I loved most about The Soul's Mark: CHANGED was how the relationship between Mitchell and Amelia developed. I have to be honest, I used to hate Mitchell like hardcore. I felt that Amelia could have done so much better but now I take that back. I'm not sure if it was due to the fact of the roles between them switching or what, but I can see now that they are without a doubt, meant for each other. What one lacks the other has, they truly complete each other. The best part? They actually realized that in this book. FINALLY! All fighting ceased and they became at one with each other, words cannot explain the happiness I felt. I loved to see them happy!

I will miss this series. I wish it could continue on forever. I'm really hoping for more novels/novellas. The book has a satisfying definite ending BUT it did leave open a slight possibility for another book. Or maybe it's just me trying to keep the series alive in my mind. Whatever the case, The Soul's Mark series will always be one of my favorites!

Ashley Stoyanoff has done it again! Soul’s Mark: CHANGED , the final book in this series brought closure with class! The loose ends were tied off and as I hit that last page, I found myself wanting just a little more, not because it was needed, but because I’m going to miss Willowberg and its inhabitants!

The Willowberg vampires are lost without the leadership of the now human Mitchell, who is suffering from his first illness in 800 years. Bless you, Ms. Stoyanoff, that whole “Mitchell is sick” was priceless, NOT that he was sick, but his reaction to being sick in the beginning, the descriptions of each scene, and poor Amelia! The vamps need Mitchell, but another change could kill him and Amelia knows she must follow her heart and choose the right path. If Mitchell were turned again, what would he be like now that he’s been reminded of the frailties of being human?

This was an emotional roller coaster, but the tension and turmoil was deftly blended with lighter moments. The vampire family played a huge role as a group, and their banter and dialogue was, as always, spot on!
Ms. Stoyanoff did an amazing job of keeping her characters real, painting each scene with a sense of clarity and pulled no punches in bringing every emotion to the forefront! With her usual crisp style, she kept the pace quick and brought it all home with a satisfying finish that just “felt right.” although, I will admit, if she ever decides to re-visit Willowberg, Amelia and Mitchell, I want to go, too!

Is this a series that can be re-read in the future? Definitely! I don’t think Ashley Stoyanoff’s style will ever be out of fashion!

I received an ARC edition from the author in exchange for my honest review.

This was a very fact paced, enjoyable read. Right at the beginning Stoyanoff gives a good recap of previous novels without ever breaking out of the new, very well laid out, storyline. She also gives this vamp-tastic world one heck of a hilarious twist. There was definitely a comedy of errors going on here for a bit; at the same time Stoyanoff infuses an intensity into this novel that keeps you riveted. As an author, Stoyanoff makes you feel like you’re part of the story instead of just someone reading it. Stoyanoff’s natural yet vivid descriptions continue to set the scene perfectly. She also really makes use of allusion in this instalment to paint an entire mural with her words.

Although Stoyanoff’s characters are all quite well developed coming into this final novel in the series, she takes a bit of a different twist with further development here. Development in this novel has shifted to a more real and personal level. Her characters have become more developed on a very down to earth level here. Confusion and strength of character really shine through now. They are real people, just in vamp-form. Also, even though Mitch and Amelia are still the main characters, the entire cast takes on more major roles in this story to create a ‘main family’ of characters.

I must say that I love Mitchell in this novel. He’s so real and he no longer seems disjointed from reality. In earlier novels in this series Mitchell always seemed stuck in the past, and considering his age that is quite understandable. Now, courtesy of the time he’s spent with Amelia, you can still see his past but he’s living in the present. It’ makes for a very nice change of character which happened quite naturally.

Overall, this was a brilliant wrap up of the series. Parts of this story broke my heart, others put it back together, and others yet just plain made me laugh. Stoyanoff ties up all the loose ends and leaves you with a sense of completion at the end of the novel, even if you do wish that there were more to come so that you could stay in Willowberg forever.

Please note that I received this novel free of charge from the author in exchange for an honest review.

4.5 STARS :)

** I received an ARC from the author in exchange for my honest review**

Well, I'm a super fan of Ashley, that's no surprise, and the fact that I really enjoyed this book isn't, either.
I've loved this series since the start.

I've grown attached to all the characters with different personalities and stories.

What can I say? I absolutely loved it!

Ok, well, maybe not the first part hehe, I found that at the beginning every character was a little whinny and didn't do much, from Lola, to Millie to Mitch but as the story progressed I got caught up in the plot, as always!

Cover:
The best so far. I really like it! and it's very representative.

Writing:
If you are looking for a simple writing this is not your kind of book. Stoyanoff's writing is complex and it makes you think, it entangles you in all the twists and details of the story line and at the same time it flows smoothly and keeps you glued to the pages. I believe her writing keeps improving book after book.

I think that, even unexpected, the 'TSM: Changed' was an outstanding end to the series. It brings closure and helps you understand a lot of things that have been happening in the other 3 books.

Characters:
They gained depth and in this installment, we get to know all of them better, specially Lola whom I related to, more than in the previous books.

Also we get a lot more of Angelle and Ty's story. Those two are just so perfect and so incredibly cute together that you can't help loving them.

In this book, I even liked Mitchell! I've been hating him since the beginning but now I can understand his actions, his selfishness and overprotectiveness towards Amelia.

I'd totally recommend it and this is a series I will miss!

I was given a copy for an honest review. This review contains no spoilers.

An absolutely wonderful book! I had to tear myself away from finishing it late at night. If I did not have to work the next morning, I would have finished it in a day. I curse at the need for sleep so I will be able to teach the next day. I did have some interesting dreams and could not stop thinking about the characters all day.

I highly recommend reading all The Soul's Mark series. I'm a huge fan. Each book was a thrilling journey. Each story ended with emotional cliffhangers. I really liked how everything came full circle. Loved the ending to this series. Love the suspense, the twists and turns, the complicated character development and relationships. I'm going to miss all the characters. Ashley's writing is amazing. I loved being able to feel for these characters and the world Ashley created.

When reviewing a series, the reviews get harder and harder to write as you read each book. I like spoiler free reviews and do my best to do them. So when you get to the end of a series, it's hard to get out what you want without feeling like something is a spoiler.

Changed is an awesome ending to an amazing series. This book closed out the series perfectly. I love these characters and I hate that the series is over. :( Eric is of course, by far, still my favorite. I absolutely love that man and his green hair.

Changed had me guessing the whole time about what would happen next. I was extremely nervous through some parts in this one. I was so scared a certain thing would happen and thinking she wouldn't do that to us. Would she? Thankfully I know now that no she wouldn't. Lol.

In Changed, Amelia and Mitch, well lets say the whole family, goes through some struggles. A lot of struggles. With Mitch the way he is, everyone is worried what is going to happen. The other vamps in the neighborhood have been treating their soulmates wrongly and they have to figure out how to fix it all.

Eric and Megan have their own worries. As crazy as it seems I understand what Megan was worried about in this one. And of course Eric knows how to act like an ass and he does that very well in this one. But I still love him. Hehe.

Changed played out perfectly. Picking up from the last one and continuing the story while keeping it interesting. I don't think out of the whole series there is one single dull moment. I had trouble putting these books down when I started. They sucked me in and kept me consumed. An amazing series dealing with Vampires and if you love vamps like me then you should definitely pick this series up.

A Superbly Spellbinding & Sensational Series I'm going to Miss!

Tho it was bitter sweet Saying good bye to Chracters who have become like old friends, The Soul's Mark:CHANGED Was utterly Fangtastic & I loved every minute of it!

description

The soul mate bond might be back in place but all is still not right in Willowberg. Amelia is struggling to control her temper & her new vampire powers while keeping reign of the vampires who have fallen into chaos without the leadership of the now human Mitchell, who is suffering from his first illnes in 800 years.

With all hell breaking loose & an unexplained deadline from the spirits, Amelia realizes that this a fight she cannot win alone.
She needs mitchell, but another change could kill him and Amelia knows she must follow her heart and choose the right path, to save not only her soul mate but her entire family.

Ashley's writting just seems to get better & better. She Seamlessly  blended tense battles,  light hearted humor & delightful romance together so well  i was utterly hooked & just couldn't help myself from turning the pages  right until the nail biting End!

& what an ending it was! Like..

description

It was  compelling yet satisfying & everything a fantastic final novel in a series should be!

If You haven't read The Soul's Mark Series yet I implore you to do so, it's a magical heart warming series that will always remain one of my favorites!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review

So Here are my thoughts:

I felt it honestly deserved 3.5 stars but Goodreads doesn't allow us the option of 1/2 stars.
This series as a whole was Amazing! I adored it every step of the way.

Ashley is an amazing story teller and her writing style is unique as well as beautiful. I loved the new take on the vampires, and how she kept some of the old traditions. It's a hard balance to find and Ashley was able to accomplish it flawlessly. This series was original in a time when originality in Vampire stories is a hard thing to come by.

That being said of all four books this one was my least favorite. Not that it is my any means bad It really tied the story up nicely, but I personally am a HUGE fan of Eric and through half the story ... well he is almost someone else entirely. Which I found upsetting. Again this is a personal thing and it likely will not bother any of you in the least. Though there were some very unexpected twists near the end of the book that I really was not expecting... Quite exciting.

The rolls have flipped in this book and everyone is in some sort of emotional turmoil. Angalee's story ... Sigh. Mitchell is literally falling apart and now they have a deadline (pun intend), the tension is high and I LOVE IT.

Amelia has grown so much since book one. It has been an awesome journey and Ashley did a superb job telling it. Just because I was not in love with parts of book 4 doesn't mean this series is not worth reading, because it is. It is very worth it. So much so, that I would recommend it to my best friend (In fact I did).

My Review
4 Roses

What a roller-coaster this series has been!! The term "roller-coaster" is used often in the various synopses and blurbs for this series, and it really does fit. The back and forth surprises Amelia and Mitchell go through are enough to give anyone whiplash-of-the-imagination!

This book is certainly entertaining, though, and not one that's easy to put down. It fits right along with the previous books of the series, by taking what you thought you knew from the ending of Book #3, and flipping it upside down. Then it twists sideways, turns around a few times, curves a little, til dropping you back down with a "thump" at the end. Nerve-wracking, exhilarating, exciting, and completely entertaining- this book had me hooked from the very beginning.

The writing, as always, is very good. Ashley Stoyanoff is a natural writer, and I thoroughly enjoy every book I read from her. I can't say much more without giving away spoilers, so I'll say this: if you're a fan of angsty, surprising, roller-coaster romances, full of vampires, witches and laughs, then this is a book, and series, you'll enjoy.

Mitchell has a cold and is dying. Since he is a man, he doesn't handle being sick well so he believes he is dying. Actually, since he has not been sick in over 800 years, it really does look like he could be dying. Amelia is looking after him and trying to find a spell to make him well. It's odd to see Amelia as the vampire and Mitchell as the human. They have pretty much switched rolls with Amelia making the decisions and Mitchell doing as he is told.

The entire "family" is worried about Mitchell's health. Now that he is no longer their leader they are all making a mess of their lives and fighting with each other. Amelia is very strong and straightens everyone out - with Mitch's help.

There is so much that happens in The Soul's Mark:CHANGED that I want to comment on but I don't want to give anything away so you just have to read it. You will not be disappointed.

Even with all the twists and turns in this novel, Stoyanoff manages to pull it all together so that you get a clear picture of the events. She gives the reader a super visual of everything that is going on in this story.

The character development in The Soul's Mark series has been so good that I really feel that I know the characters. I will miss them.

I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is the final book in this series, and I really enjoyed it and had a hard time putting it down when life got in the way. ;) There were moments when my heart was breaking, and I was stressing out..... my emotions were all over the place in this book! Amelia and Mitch are put to the test in this book and there are lots of ups and downs and twists and turns for everyone involved. In the end you do find out if Amelia and Mitch are actually soul mates or not! I recommend reading the other books in this series before reading Changed. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I really enjoy this series! There are so many twists and turns. It's just a fun read. This book was great. I didn't expect some of the twists that came and I loved the turn of events. I hope there will be more to read! The characters were well developed and the plot, even though somewhat predictable, gave plenty of unexpected surprises along the way. I have to give this book five glittery stars for it's supernatural awesomeness!

Im so sad this series is over. This book diffiantly had a little twist to it which I enjoyed. Who would of though Amelia's mother wanted her to become mother nature. Mitch turning human and becoming very ill which Amelia mother never mentioned could happen when she gave him the option to become human. Amelia and her family did everything they could to help him come better. Dealing with the town problems the other vampire who though Mitch wasn't coming back and were using there soul mates at feeding toys. I was surprised that Ty was Angelle soul mate, I really didn't expected it since they said that they only had one soulmate which was Derek. Im happy that Amelia was able to fix the soul mate bonds and change Mitch back to the vampire he was. It was amazing to know that she had another change at love especially with Ty becoming a vampire. I seriously couldn't believe that the spirits wanted her to choose between Mitch and becoming Mother Nature, but Im truly glad she chose Mitch and her family even though she was going to lose her power by picking her family.
