Vihlok is a dashing, though somewhat unscrupulous, Sabrotine privateer. He offers a variety of less than legal services for outlandish fees. When an anonymous client asks him to kidnap a young woman during her wedding and sully her reputation so badly the groom will no longer want her, he’s intrigued.

A past indiscretion leaves Rana Jabulayni little choice but to accept an unwanted marriage. Yet one night alone with her fiancé convinces Rana anything is better than being bartered as part of a trade agreement. Seeing no other option, Rana arranges her own kidnapping.

Vihlok has dreamed of repaying the corrupt House of Jabulayni for their utter indifference to his people ever since the war ended. A quirk of fate has left his enemy at his mercy and the day of reckoning is long overdue. Hoping to shock and scandalize the sheltered princess, Vihlok agrees to kidnap/rescue her. But Princess Rana is not nearly as sheltered as Vihlok presumes and erotic heat soon turns to something deeper.

“I’ll help you be more civilized outside the bedroom, if you continue to unleash my savage nature inside the bedroom.”

Rana’s mother is forcing her hand to marry a man much older than she, to help the people of her land, knowing Rana’s healthy sexual appetite her mother uses it against her to sell her off to a man willing to keep her for pretenses as he continues on with his male lover. Knowing this is not a life she chooses for herself, with the help of her handmaiden she arranges for her own kidnapping before the wedding. Add on that a soiled reputation for six days until she will be ransomed off and no longer wanted as a bride. Problem is, the Pirate who has been hired happens to hold a personal grudge against the Rana’s family and he is more than willing to personally tarnish the Princesses reputation.
“For the next six days there is no past and no future. I am a pirate and you are a princess. No questions. No names. Are we agreed?”

Vik can’t think of nothing better than losing himself in his gorgeous prisoner, who is nothing but full of surprises. She is nothing like he expected and soon his plans seem no longer as important as they initially were.
“ I am your master, mentor, teacher, and guide. All you need to do is decide whether or not you’re going to embark on this adventure.”

Rana and Vik learn about King Vega’s plans and has to come up with a way to stay alive and keep her people safe. What happens when the secrets all come out, is there a future for the Pirate and the Princess, or was six days enough to state their needs?

Pirate’s Price was such an unexpected surprise, I really enjoyed the short story, once I read the description of the story I knew I had to read it and I am so happy it didn’t disappoint. Two sexual beings coming together, meeting each others needs in a way they never expected. It was HOT and hard to put down. I am definitely going to check out what else the author has in store. It’s a perfect filler book!

This was a cute, quick read. After Rana arranges her own kidnapping and finds herself in the clutches of Vihlok, there are terms she wasn't aware of and new rules are made. Twists in the story come out, new problems arise that are quickly quashed, and a HEA is alluded to. I had thought from the blurb that there would be some revenge/hate sex here, perhaps some non-con, but there isn't. Everything is sweet and consensual and "I would never hurt you" outside of a mild scene with her betrothed that has some spanking. (And when I say scene, I mean just that. It's staged and cued up role play.) It's a free read on Amazon and the writing is well done and executed with an entertaining plot line.

Pirate's Price was a fun and sexy space romp. The world building was not particularly complex or unique, but it suited the story just fine. For a short story, the author did a nice job fleshing out both characters and plot.

I recommend this story to those who enjoy erotic Sci/fi romances with some light BDSM elements. At the time of this review, the book is available for free on Amazon. :)

Pirate turns Consort in a steamy read

This was a quick read. In an effort to save her people Rana is betrothed to a king form another world. The king turns out to be a brutal heartless man. Rana decided to take her future into her own hands and arranged a kidnapping. She falls for the kidnapper who was once Prince of her land. It was a very steamy read.

This was a quick, feet up, cuppa tea, kill a few hours easy read.

The world building was not overly informative but you got a feel for it!

The characters and the story-line were not complex but you got a good understanding with such a short story.

I recommend this short story to those who enjoy a bit of erotic Sci/fi romances.

She was willing to risk it all for her people. He is the undercover would-be ruler who is out for revenge. Their family names separate them but love will bring them together.

Pirate’s Price is an erotic novella which does not fail to disappoint on the eroticism or the fast-paced plot. Rana is a woman who wants to restore her kingdom to the greatness it once was, but her mother would never see that happen. Instead, Rana agrees to marry Vega in exchange for her mother getting the financial support she needs for her kingdom. It’s a price she is willing to pay, until she has to prove her sexual compatibility to Vega and his lover.

Vihlok’s family once ruled, before Rana’s family took their reign and their lives from them. As the last living member of his family he remains under the radar as a businessman/pirate. He has only two rules: no kidnappings and no assassinations, but when the price is too large to walk away from he agrees to the kidnapping of Rana. A kidnapping she arranged herself, though the last cause in the contract was completely unknown to her...irreversibly sully her reputation through direct or indirect means, and it was one he planned to take full advantage of.

This is one book that was hard to put down. My advice is to start reading it early so you can finish it before night falls and takes your now sullied mind to new and interesting dream-filled places.

My Favorite Aspect: Rana’s curiosity and Vihlok’s desire to help her explore it.

Y'all know my stance on sexy times in space, right? MOAR MOAR MOAR! Needless to say, I was VERY pleased to dive into a little sexy sci-fi. *slow thumbs up*

Things I liked - Rana and Vihlok's foray into D/s territory. Vihlok sees how excited the thought of putting herself in his hands makes Rana and does what he needs to do to give her what she craves.

Things I didn't like (which makes sense because it's icky and is the catalyst for Rana running) - King Yuckypants and how he and his male consort treated Rana. I'm glad she ran. Best thing ever that her running put her in the hands of a sexy space pirate. I also didn't like what we saw of Rana's mom. Some people should not be parents. She's one of them.

Short and sexy AND set in space. *thumbs up all around*

So where to begin with this book...It was a freebie on Amazon, so that was nice. Otherwise, it mixed so many other common romance themes that it really became its own thing. A little Spaceballs, a runaway/kidnapped bride, a little BDSM, a little homosexual action, and some political drama. See? It doesn't really match anything. Overall, it was fun, but so far out from what I'd normally read that it left me thinking "Huh, that was odd. Fun, but odd." Not sure that I'll venture into the space scene again, but it was a fun place to visit!!

An ok read, but its very focused on the two main characters and little else. There is out side conflict but the story isn't really long enough for you to really connect with it. The story starts and your already in the thick of things, the biggest upset is when the King's consort realizes that if he kills Rana then he would be next on the 'to die' list. Some scenes with menage a trio involved but they didn't connect very well for me, which for the first one at least that was the point. 2 stars.

This was an enjoyable read, but I thought there was a lot of missed potential. My main criticism is that some of the emotional baggage that should have been explored was glossed over or brushed too easily aside. Exploring those areas would have extended the book and created even more interesting characters.

Erotic Romance with almost no plot. Pirate and SciFi Romance is ridiculously mixed with erotic bdsm games. Characters lack in every regard besides from sexual desire.

The good thing is, I didn't pay for it (free kindle edition)

I liked that this book was fast paced, which kept me reading well into the night. Rana and Vihlok’s chemisty is just HOT and he is willing to give her any fantasy that she desires.

Who would not love that?

Adult content heavy read where the 'Princess' isn't the Cinderella sort of girl held together in a loose story line plot. Includes BDSM, menage, and m/m action.

Wasn't quite what I expected though. A book to check out if you want to read sci-fi pirate romantic erotica.

The premise is good, and the start is good.

The storyline goes down hill from there...and turns into nothing but smut.

Don't read if you want a storyline that keeps your attention.
