There are ten rules to a summer fling. Rule one, if he doesn’t belong to the country club he doesn’t belong in your pants. Rule two, never say the L word, unless it’s loser and you’re kicking his butt to the curb. Rule three, no eating off each other’s plates. So that means if he was mine last summer, you will avoid him. Rule four, ho’s before bros. If I call shotgun you leave him the hell alone. Rule five, see rule four, don’t try to date my brother, or Aubrey’s or Claire’s or Rachel’s. I saw his junk when we were kids, I don’t want to hear your filthy summer sexcapades and imagine it’s him. Rule six, everything has an expiry date, from tan lotion to condoms to boys. We do not go to university this fall with the boy we let dry hump us at prom. Rule seven, condoms are your friend at the party but the pill is the bouncer. You need that at every party. Rule eight, we don’t pay for anything, ever. If I hear you went Dutch, you are out. Rule nine, there are two kinds of boys in this world. The kind you let take you out for dinner and then there are the ones you let take you in the backseat of their car. Try not to confuse them or get caught. If you get caught slumming you’re out. Rule ten, end it nicely on August 31st. This date is not an option or possibility, it’s firm and set.

Ok. So here’s the positive. If you’re looking for an over the top dramatic revenge plot story, that takes place during the summer in the Hampton’s, where a couple who isn’t meant to fall in love does, and where so many secrets and lies between a group of friends are uncovered your head will spin... then Fling Club, is a story you should buy as soon as it’s available! This story is a bit problematic for me for many reasons, but I pushed through and when I got to the end the moral is good. Hurt people, hurt people. And if you don’t realize that you’re acting out from your hurt, then you just end up hurting more people. You’ve got to let yourself heal, and not retaliate.
Sadly I can’t rate this book any higher than a three, because even though the characters were unlikeable with purpose (growth), I still just didn’t like very many of them. I also wasn’t pulled in by the falling for a dude you’ve hired to ruin a friend plot. I know that’s a plot so many people love, and I thought I was going to be into it. It just didn’t work for ME in this instance. I honestly think that other readers will enjoy this story though.
If you ENJOY drama on the level of Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars, minus all the death, then this story is a good one for you.

Every year Cherry spends her summer in the Hamptons and every year her summer revolves around the “Fling Club”. The point of the club is that its female members get to choose a guy for a fleeting romance each summer who will then accompany them to functions and other events of their choice. This year is supposed to be Cherry’s last summer in the club but instead of just finding a guy for a short summer romance, she’s out for revenge this time around. Revenge on the club’s founder who slept with her ex-boyfriend. Cherry has a plan but for that plan to work she still needs to find the perfect guy and Ashley, a nerd from MIT, seems like the right candidate. But what happens when after some time, Cherry and Ashley realize they’re more than just business partners and the plan unravels?
The plot of “Fling Club” unfortunately was very predictable. The first third of the novel was actually alright and I was very interested in seeing where the story would go, but then everything just started going downhill from there. All the plot twists were pretty unoriginal and none of them surprised me. Especially the last 10% after a certain bigger plot twist were incredibly boring and I had to force myself to even finish the book despite only having a few pages left to read. There was also lots of slut shaming in this book and overall, the story was just overly dramatic and too much for me. I have to say though that for the most part, this was a very quick read and I flew through the majority of the book.
As for the characters, the two MCs Cherry and Ashley were okay characters, but I have to say that neither of them left a lasting impression and I ultimately didn’t really care about them. The same goes for most of the other characters except for Cherry’s younger sister Ella, who seemed like a very interesting character and quite unlike all the other flat characters in this book. I definitely would’ve loved to still read a little more about her.
The writing style was fine and didn’t bother me too much. It was a little repetitive at times but while I’ve definitely read books from author’s whose writing style is a lot more to my liking than Brown’s, I’ve also definitely seen worse before.
Overall, this was a pretty disappointing read but I’m still giving it two out of five stars because of the promising first third of the novel and because of Ella. If you’re looking for a very dramatic revenge summer romance novel though, this is definitely a book you might enjoy a lot more than I did. But in my opinion, it was simply a very unoriginal and boring novel.
"She made my world brighter, and I clearly made hers more real."
I don't usually read reviews before starting a new book, but since this was going to be my first experience with Tara Brown, I decided to read them. There were not what I was expecting, they made me feel unsure whether to read the book or not, but at the end, I decided to give it a try... and OH BOY, it was so GOOD! The perfect mix of funny, sweet, and hawt—with just the right amount of angst to keep me glued to my kindle. I enjoyed it immensely.
Ashley and Cherry were so adorable together—their chemistry was totally off the charts funny and sexy, although it was not just their chemistry what hooked me in, but how the story progressed with them trying to fight the pull they felt toward each other, which was inevitable from the start.
In this club, you have to follow the rules. But what happens when reality hit you hard, and you decide to burn them all.
Fling Club was a total page-turner. The story and writing just flowed, and once I started reading it, I didn't want to stop. I not only fell in love with the main characters but with the amazing secondary characters as well. Here's hoping Ella gets her own book!
A socially evil read full of revenge, emotional growth and the art of becoming your own person.
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Unfortunately, it was a case of this book wasn't for me. The tag line spelled it out for me... revenge—sweet and hot—in the first book of this sexy and wickedly funny series. I was hoping for a hit out of the park. But for me, it didn't really read that way. The revenge part was definitely there...and well deserved. Not so much sweet. Hot... maybe to some. There was just a lot of over the top drama, slut shaming and spoiled stereotypes. *eek, I'm going to hide in the blankie fort* I did really enjoy the younger sister. She seemed real. And the writing flowed well. I didn't categorically dismiss the book... it just didn't grab my attention and keep it all the time.
After finding her best friend in bed with her boyfriend, Cheery sets out to plot the perfect revenge. For years this particular friend has ruled the Hamptons as well as the group of girls in the Fling Club. But with the help of her siblings, Cheery sets out to bring her down not realizing how deep the betrayals run.
Ashley needs money to help out his family and is desperate for a summer job. When he responds to a post looking for someone who can turn their back on their moral values in a quest for vengeance, he replies and opens the door for a summer unlike any he ever expected.
Cheery was a complicated character, trying to find herself and who she really was after years of living up to her friend’s social standards. She was a hot mess and there were times I wanted to smack her on the head to snap her out of her second guessing. There was a lot of back and forth with what she wanted and thought and sometimes it was a bit repetitive. Ultimately, I did like her and loved that she found the strength within to take the steps needed to end the abuse in a manner I never predicted when starting this book.
As for Ashley, a nerdy hero who didn't quite fulfill all my nerdy requirements - it was more on paper than in real actions - was definitely the light in the story. A bit judgmental at times, with reason, he was also quick to admit to his shortcomings and looked beyond the surface at what lay beneath Cheery’s fake smiles. He brought a touch of humor to the story that was desperately needed at times. And his own strength in the face of adversity endeared him to me even more so than his personality.
This is a relatively fast paced read but I still found myself skimming some when thoughts were repeated. Cheery’s siblings were freaking awesome but I couldn’t find myself trusting any of the other secondary characters in her circle of acquaintances and that became a bit tiring. However, Ashley stole the spotlight here and along with him the steam level increased.
While I am not a fan of the “mean girls” storyline, I was curious to see how everything would play out in the end and I was satisfied by the ending.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Originally posted on the blog Fiction and Frosting I’m not really comfortable writing reviews like this one. But since reviews need to reflect honesty, I’m keeping this short to stop myself from ranting. There were so many things that I tried to look aside, but it did not work.
The first few chapters were full of hate that I actually felt stressed reading it. STRESSED. No one should be allowed to feel that when people read for leisure.
The synopsis really intrigued me. The story itself was a slow build up, and I wouldn’t really mind it if the characters were somewhat interesting. The Kennedy siblings were full of vengeance and the love interest was a sexist, body-shaming, rude “nerd”.
Ashley Jardine was hired to be part of a revenge plot on a “mean girl” who started Fling Club. I should’ve liked him. I mean, a robotics engineering student at MIT plus very hot? A dream come true. But when it came to his POV, I wanted to barf!
“She represented everything I disliked in a girl and a human.”
And yet, he lusted over Cherry, the main character, since he saw her. *rolls eyes* He kept insulting Cherry, but at the same time be attracted to her? Now I’m confused if they’re young adults or a bunch of kindergartners.
“All girls are the same. Hung up on what someone else tells you you’re supposed to be. If I were a girl, I’d eat nothing but pizza and ice cream and stare at my gorgeous body in the mirror while telling everyone else to stick it.”
I mean, come on, Cherry already feels bad about herself from all the bullying she gets from her family and her so-called friend, but yes! Let’s enter another dry character and make him the possible love interest! Hooray!
The only character I enjoyed was the one I was actually supposed to hate— Cait. She made at least a third towards the end more interesting. I wanted to read more about the Fling Club and it's history and the drive that pushed Cait to boundaries to actually do it. I did get my answers, but it was a little too late.
Although there were a lot of things I couldn’t agree on, I still wasn’t able to put this book down. I wanted to know if it got better, but sadly for me, it didn’t. This is my first book by Tara Brown. Would I read more of her works? Weirdly enough, yes.
3.5 stelline.. Tutto sommato questo new adult mi è abbastanza piaciuto.
Another phenomenal book from Tara Brown. Fling Club is Mean Girls on Spring Break in the Hamptons, College style lol I really loved this story I could see the drama play out in my mind. I think Fling Club would make a good book to movie adaptation because Tara's words were so vivid. Once I started this story, there was no putting it down, there was so much drama unfolding at each turn of the page, I had to know more. The twists and turns it took from the middle to the end, majority I did not see coming, I love a book that isnt so predictable and Tara Brown brought us that with Fling Club. I loved that she brought us romance, humor, drama and so much more. Im definitely calling dibs on Ashley, loved his character and definitely my fave out of them all. Although, I wouldnt mind reading Andy's or Ella's story, I feel like those two have more to tell us. I can't wait to see what else is in store for the Serendipity series.
My first Tara Brown book. What the heck took me so long? FLING CLUB was funny, sweet, smart, socially evil and a truly great read. Brown tied in the real life expectations of being young, in college and navigating friendships, the "it" crowd, love and above all else being 'you.' Amid all the realness of the book, Brown did a fantastic job of making the story swoon worthy, a little angsty and heartfelt. Cherry's character was one that almost every single young woman could relate to on their way to becoming a strong independent woman after college. Ashley was a fabulous book boyfriend. Confident, sexy in a non-typical book boyfriend way. What I loved most about this book is that author Tara Brown didn't synonymously write vulnerability as naivety. The characters were profoundly affected by their actions but they weren't naive to think otherwise. They were however, vulnerable and at the root of it all wanted the same thing as their peers and what they thought others did too. I loved that in all their vulnerability the characters, both protagonists and antagonists, they were strong and resilient. FLING CLUB was a wonderful story of emotional growth, resilience, change and becoming your own person. D 5/5
***ARC received in exchange of an honest opinion***
It's a testament of a good book when you're into 55% of it and you message the author to say it's the best thing she's ever written.
I've been a huge fan of Tara for years now and we became friends here on Goodreads many years ago. But despite all that I've never been one to sugarcoat my feelings for a book.
The Fling Club is different from any book I've read. It has a lot of elements I love in books, but the plotline is refreshing and different. I always say Tara is the Queen of Plot Twists, she has a knack for changing up a story in a way you wouldn't expect, so she's good at plotlines. This time though, I can see this one was thought throughly (not that her other books weren't) and she wrapped the whole story up in such a perfect way.
In her usual fashion the book has some plot twists, but this time it is not the focus. The Fling Club is more than a romance, it's more than Cherry and Ashley's story (which I LOVED, but we'll get to that soon). This is also a story about friendships and finding yourself.
Cherry is a senior at college, who is a also a spoiled and privileged girl. And through an elaborate scheme to get even at someone, she'll discover more than she bargained for, mostly about her own self. Ashley...oh my! Don't let Eli hear tjis, but I think he's my favorite book boyfriend Tara wrote so far. He's nerdy and funny, gorgeous, sexy and very very real. He's excatly what Cherry needs, but didn't expect at all.
The Fling Club is The OC meets Gossip Girl meets Cruel Intentions meets Tara Brown's genious mind. We're talking about a world so f***ed up, but that could be any elite's neighborhood around the world. The beauty of it is that it's a book quintessentially relatable. Even if you're not rich, or if you haven't been through what these characters have. Everyone is more than they seem to be, for better or worse.
It was so easy to read this book that I never wanted it to end. Itfeltlike hugging a friend. It's one of those stories that are so well built and well written that you forget you're reading it and feel like you're experiencing it.
Even if you're notrichand spoiled, this book will make you relate to it and you'll feel connected. It'll remind you of being young and in doubt and clueless about what to do with life. In one end we have Ashley who is so sure of himself and secure in hs decisions and what he wants to do with his life and in the oher end we have Cherry, who isn't sure of anything anymore, besides maybe how blind she had been about what was all around her. And these two opposites will not only attract, but remind us that life is not black and white. There's more to everyone and their attitudes and mistakes. Some might not be excused, though.
I absolutely loved Cherry because despite her thinking Ashley waa the real one, I think she is quite real. She owned up to her mistakes, she's not always secure and we all have moments of self-doubt and insecurities. She's flawed and she doesn't make excuses for it. She's unabashedly herself. A little spoiled, a lot real and human after all.
Then we have Ashley...I fell in love with him the moment he sees the raspberry buns. He seems like my perfect guy. He's gorgeous and smart and nerdy and super honest. He calls people, specially Cherry, on her bulls***t. And I love that. I would love if he could be real because that's a guy I'd love to date. I love his interactions with his family. I love everything about him, because although he seems perfect for me (and Cherry), he's a normal guy, living his life and trying. Which is the most we can do.
I truly think Tara has found herself (not thatshe was ever lost) with this book. Her voice was never so strong and her writing isoutof this world with this one. Everything fits perfectly. Everything is wrapped around so well that you smile when it's approaching the end. I hate seeing a good book end, but this time I felt so satisfied with the ending. It just fitted.
It's hard to explain the feeling of a book accomplishing it all. And The Fling Club did that for me. I could see the effort and work behind every page but it read and felt effortless. The story and the writing just flowed. Even though I could see how much work Tara put into this story, it didn't seem like a work at all, it felt natural, because, just like Ashley and Cherry, it feels very very real.
Congratulations Tara. You've done a marvellous job with this one and I can't wait to read the next book in this series!
In regards to this book, the humor is what kept be engaged and reading this book. It is funny that there was several references to Cruel Intentions as that is the vibes I got from this book. Cherry and her brother are the main leads but they don't sleep with each other. Whereas, Ashley is in the role that Reese Witherspoon played. You can't feel bad for Ashley as he knew from the start what he was getting himself into with offering to play a part.
Yet, as much as I liked the humor, it was the characters that I didn't care for. I found most of them to be self-absorbed and unappealing. This did include Cherry to a point as well. Ashley is the only one I liked right from the moment I met him. Overall, I would classify Fling Club is a light hearted chick lit book.
From the start of this book I thought I may enjoy it though the description of the Fling Club sounded ridiculous to me. However as the story progressed the eye rolling began.
I'll add now I've always enjoyed this authors work and was looking forward to a new book from her but this just wasn't for me in the subject matter, it is New Adult and I can't fault the writing, I just couldn't relate.
Fling Club is a New Adult read very much in the tone of Mean Girls meets one of those ridiculously wealthy brats reality shows. The characters are just too immature and brattish for me and I wanted to throttle each of them.
The basis of this story is the lead character Cherry sets off to gain revenge on her best friend and co founder of Fling Club after finding her in bed with her boyfriend, very much egged on by her brother. To do so she hires a hard up student, Ashley, to play the part of a fling for the summer frolic in the Hamptons. Poor Ashley is the only character I liked in this book.
Anyway if you are a fan of Mean Girls type drama then you will love this book.
I didn't like this book it wasn't for me mostly because it was just super slow for me. If the pace was faster I probably would have liked it better. The plot was weird I thought I would be into it but it didn't happen that way.
To be honest, I based my decision on reading this book just because of the cover at first because seriously, have you seen it? It's fun, gorgeous and simply amazing. But then, I read the blurb, and was intrigued by it.
And you know what? I loved it. It had a little bit of everything, from Mean Girls type of drama, to the most romantic and touching moments, and in between sexy banter and funny scenes. There were little twists and a few big twists in the story that kept making it more and more interesting.
I loved the whole revenge idea, but the book is also an expression of a girl who hasn't quite found out who she really is or who she wants to be in life. Cherry is such a sweet girl but has let herself fall into a web of not so good people. After she is the one taking the bullet, she decides she no longer wants to be that girl. And here comes Ashley. He is such a delight since the beginning. He is charming and completely irresistible, as Cherry found out real soon. Together they make of a touching and fun romance.
Fun, a bit angsty and a brilliant exposure on personal growth.
I’m going to be honest…I can’t remember why I thought I would enjoy this one! This is so not my typical read. I think I must have read a review of it somewhere and I was captivated by the reviewers enthusiasm (which is great) but I didn’t really account for the fact that this type of read generally never works for me.
Sadly, Fling Club just didn’t deliver at all for me though this was definitely a case of “it’s not you, it’s me”. I couldn’t even make it to 10% which is my usual cut off point before I give up on a read.
frankly the characters were just way too immature to hold my interest. I really wanted to stretch myself…but this just didn’t work out.

This book is packed with drama, and it stars in the opening pages.
I enjoyed this story. There weren't many twists and turns but it reminded me a lot of Mean Girls, and Cait made the perfect Regina George.
Cherry and her girlfriends have been leading the "Fling Club" since they were teenagers. Every summer they'd all head out to the Hamptons with their families, and for a few months, the girls ruled the world—and the boys.
Then Cherry catches Cait, the club leader, in bed with her boyfriend. And thus begins the plan to destroy Cait and the club.
I liked the way Brown crafted the characters in this book, even though I didn't like the characters themselves. (Does that make any sense?) The girls in Fling Club bring the term "mean girls" to life, hence the reason I didn't necessarily like them. But Brown did such a terrific job giving them these personas and bringing out that mean girl mentality, which is the mark of a good writer to me.
This book is well-written and has a good balance of humor, drama, and naughtiness. It was a super easy read, everything flowed well and meshed together, and the author did a terrific job of creating a world filled with spoiled rotten rich kids and all the glitz and glamor that comes with that lifestyle.
Ashley and Cherry ... gah! There was this connection between them that was very obvious and palpable to me as a reader. I loved watching the push and pull as they both tried to run from their feelings and act like they didn't exist.
I also love the cover of this book. The colors are so pretty!
I'm looking forward to book two in this series. And I'm hoping that maybe Brown will write a spin-off book (or two!) using some of the secondary characters, because they were just as much a part of the story and fun to read as the main ones were.
Check this story out if you're looking for a quick and fun read.
Salve lettrici.
While this is said to be a new adult read, I'd say that the realness of the story told here is something even young adults might need to hear. The story itself, while adding some much-needed lightness to an otherwise difficult story, is exactly what young girls will need to know about. Actions have repercussions and those wronged can break in ways you can never expect or understand.
I must express for younger readers that there are some sex scenes, so if you are not ready for these, maybe keep it on your reading list for when you're a bit older. If you are ready, know that some harsh truths might come out about friendship, loyalty and wanting to fit in and belong.
Tara's writing is intoxicating. As soon as I started reading, the story started with a bang you won't expect and spiral out from there. This is the best coming of age story that I've read in a while. I'll keep up with this series and hope that we get more soon.
The characters are real people. You'll see flaws and cracks and wrong choices and right ones. You will love them and hate them and possibly scream at them to stop this nonsense and grow up! And they will not listen... And you'll keep reading.
It is 100% worth the day I spent sucked in by the incredible story that will turn you inside out in the best way possible!
Imagine the Upper East Side, the Hamptons and the spoiled rich kids of those parts. Fling Club is created by the young ladies in order to pick their dates for the social events of the summers in Hamptons. It’s much crueler than it sounds, trust me. When the Queen Bee steals someone else’s boyfriend and that someone’s starts plotting revenge, you’ll get your drama.
It was an interesting read, totally different that what i would normally prefer, but it was a nice change. I can’t say too much about the characters, because they are somewhere in their very early twenties, so you can’t expect too much. The hero though, was a total nerd (MIT student), who showed signs of an alpha male, totally hot in bed, a little dominant, funny, cocky and of course, really smart. I liked him a lot.
Though it didnt’t hook me up (it took me a couple of days to finish it), i honestly enjoyed it.

Stayed up until 3 AM reading this and couldn't put it down!
As always I can't wait to read more from Tara Brown and more in this series! I'm super curious to know who book 2 will be about!
The story is fascinating and took turns I could've never imagined! Cherry and Ashley are so much more than they appear to be and I loved the sort of reverse Pygmalion theme! Give me a hot intelligent guy any day! Plus the chemistry they had was off the charts!
I loved everything, except for the way some things were handled near the end of the book. Parts of the resolution felt right and others didn't. It's a hard thing to describe without ruining the story for anyone, and since it's also sensitive, you may or may not agree with me.
However it's been a while since I stayed up late reading so I'm excited and hoping to continue my reading streak!
Fling Club is an enjoyable read. While revenge can be fun, It’s not all it’s cracked up to be.
Cherry has lived the luxurious life, huge houses, old money and summers in the Hamptons. One person she didn’t ever think she’d meet was Ashley. The nerdy guy from MIT. There’s a plan for revenge, and they're all in the mix.
I always try to write my reviews with little spoilers as possible. I think what I liked most about this story. Is that Cherry grew as a character. She goes from this Rich girl, who doesn’t stand up for herself. To a girl who knows exactly what she wants. Even though, the basis of the story is revenge. I find that all of them found themselves in the process.
I’ve read Tara Brown before, and I loved what I had read. She has a way of building a story that you're able to lose yourself in it. The only reason this didn’t get a five, is that I didn’t emotionally connect with the characters. But there was never a moment that I wanted to stop reading.
I received a copy of FLING CLUB on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to the publisher and author.
Five stars and here's why:
FLING CLUB is BRILLIANT. No joke. I laughed. I cried. I even dropped my phone/kindle app several times from laughing so hard some more. Tara Brown delivers an entertaining and original modern-day "Cruel Intentions" love story. Seriously.
I love the premise. One rich girl. One poor guy. And a major payback scheme of epic proportions. What could possibly go wrong? I simply devoured this story in one sitting. You will, too.
If you love hella-hot, nerdy guys, sassy, smart girls, and a rom-com ending that’ll make your head spin, then this book is for you! Highly recommend!
Cherry Kennedy has had enough of her friend taking everything that Cherry has. So she decides to exact her revenge by hiring a guy to break her arch nemesis's heart. I really loved how the story developed at a steady pace. The dialogue was spot on, and the characters were believable. I cannot wait to read the next one.
The women in this book were so shallow. They created a club where they pick their dates that'll accompany them to all the elite social events. The rules for this club called, Fling Club, is crazy. I guess rich people just needs more ways to keep themselves entertained. The only character I really liked is Ashley. He was the only saving factor in this book.
Let me just say, this book was exactly what I was in the mood for when I picked it up. Initially, I thought Fling Club was going to be a cheesy, romantic mess, and to be honest, I was here for it, but it actually ended up being way more than that. The book starts off with Cherry Kennedy discovering her boyfriend cheating on her with her now ex-best friend, and with a little coercion from her siblings, a revenge plot begins to take shape. Enter Ashley Jardine, gorgeous MIT scholarship student with flexible morals who is in need of some money for the rest of his schooling. As the revenge plot ensues the chemistry between Cherry and Ashley grows and electrifies, creating a contrast between the realness of their emotions to the plastic fakeness of the Hampton's elite social class.
What I Liked: +The chemistry between Cherry and Ashley is palpable and only intensifies as the slow burn heats up. There were a lot of adorable moments that I couldn’t get enough of, and then there were a few moments where I felt like flinging my Kindle across the room and yelling “TALK TO EACH OTHER YOU IDIOTS.” +There were more plot twists and turns than usually expected when reading a romance novel. The plot kept building way past what I was expecting upon starting this book. +I truly enjoyed Cherry’s little sister, Ella, as a character. She’s very much a badass, who doesn’t take anyone’s crap.
What I Did Not Like: -The “rich that hate on the rich” cliché that made an appearance here. I get that it’s a central pillar of the plot, but I just think the brother’s waxing on and on lays it on a bit thick for my tastes. -At some points Cherry is just the most weak-willed, spineless character I have ever met. I get that she has to start somewhere for character development to take place, but honestly, I don’t think she stands up for herself the entire book, and that just frustrates me to my limit. -Certain character’s snobbery and intolerance drove me nuts to even have to read about.
Recap: In the end I really did enjoy this book and I do recommend it to anyone who is looking for a romance novel with a little bit more plot than just raw sexual attraction. The sex scenes are intense, yet tasteful and not too much. The characters (for the most part) are well written and relatable. And as for me, I was hooked on the Cherry/Ashley ship from the very beginning. This book is exactly what I was looking for in when I picked it up, and I will definitely be reading the next book in the Serendipity series when it comes out October 23rd.
