A powerful vampire lost deep in his bloodlust, Snow is a savage animal, mindless with rage and a thirst for violence, and trapped with no hope of awakening from an endless nightmare… until a song draws him up from the abyss, restoring his sanity but leaving him haunted by the sweet feminine scent of lilies and snow, and fragmented familiar lyrics.
When the mysterious and beautiful songstress reappears in Snow’s room at Vampirerotique, she awakens a fierce protective streak and stirs dark desires that drive him to claim her as his female, even when he knows his touch will destroy her innocence.
A single forbidden taste is all it takes to unleash emotions in Aurora that she shouldn’t possess, tearing her between duty and desire, and luring her into surrendering to her wildfire passion and embracing hungers that burn so hotly they threaten to consume them both.
One act of kindness can lead to one thousand acts of sin though, each a black mark against the bearer’s soul and another grain of sand that slips through an hourglass. The clock is ticking and time is almost up. Can beauty save the beast?

I was fortunate to be asked to read this story prior to its release and was chomping at the bit to finally see what Ms Heaton had in store for our beloved Snow. Followers of the Vampire Erotic Theatre (VET) series would understand what I mean. The journey travelled so far with the other residents of VET, have always included Snow’s presence there in the background, waiting to emerge and knowing his combustible emotions may wreak havoc on all around him. I would recommend two things before you read this story; if you haven’t read the previous books, then do so. Snow plays a vital part throughout the series, and make sure you will not be interrupted when you start Unleash. The intro to this story is intense and complex and you don’t want to miss a thing! Felicity Heaton has created a family that continues to grow and evolve in the VET series, but if there was ever to be a father figure and protector to all, it is our Snow. Tortured emotionally for the crimes he committed in the past, Snow never ceases to put the safety and welfare of those he loves and treasures most, before his own life. I loved this story and can honestly say, it was all that I had hoped it would be.
Okay.. I am a bit sad with this one for many reasons. I've been waiting on Snow's story since I read book 1. I love this entire series. Some books I loved more than others, but I still felt satisfied when I closed the book. This one, was definitely a bittersweet read & ending to this series for me... I couldn't get into this story really for majority of the book. It was a chore to say the least. Which was surprising, considering how intriguing Snow & the mystery surrounding him is, in the other 5 books.
It took forever for me to finish this book. Mainly because Snow & Aurora had such long winded drawn out internal monologues. I'm never a fan of 80% tell and 20% show when it comes to my books. There must be balance there for me to truly enjoy and get lost in a story. This is because when you have main characters that internalize everything so much, everything they say becomes repetitive. I don't know how many times I was told the same things over & over again in this book. Whether I was in Aurora's or Snow's head, I was hearing the same doubts, fears, dilemmas etc.. over and over again. With hardly any dialogue between them. And as long as their inner monologues were in each chapter & POV, my eyes would cross at times.
There were a few touching, erotic moments here and there, but it wasn't until I hit the 70% mark, that this book FINALLY started to become intense & interesting. It even had a few LOL moments concerning Payne And guess what? This was around the time that people actually started to talk to each other more & the plot actually started to move to an actual conclusion as well.
The final scenes were great. I loved the action, the intensity & uncertainty of it all. And I loved how things came full circle for Snow. I just wish that most of the journey was executed alot better. It would have made for an epic finale to this series.
That said, overall this is a great series & I would recommend it. Please read in order.
I waited a long time for the final book in the Vampire Erotic Theatre series, Snow was one of my favourite characters from the very first book so I have been eagerly waiting for his story and to meet the woman who could bring him back from the edge of bloodlust. I was so invested in the outcome that I was actually nervous to read it though and I ended up putting off reading it for months after I had a copy because I was worried it wouldn't live up to my expectations. I should have known better though, Felicity Heaton has never let me down before and she didn't this time either, in fact Unleash is now my favourite instalment of the series!
Fans of the series have all seen how much Snow struggles with his bloodlust, how close he is to losing control forever and how worried his brother Antoine is about him. I loved the bond between the two brothers in Antoine's story (Seduce) and it was great to see more of their story through Snow's eyes in this one. They have a dark and tortured past and Snow has never forgiven himself for the things he did to Antoine and the rest of their family when the bloodlust had overtaken him. Snow doesn't believe he can be saved, he longs for death and the only thing keeping him alive is his promise to Antoine, he doesn't feel worthy of forgiveness and doesn't think that he will ever be able to gain full control of his dark side. Although the darkness is always close to the surface we have also seen evidence of a softer side to Snow, the way he is so protective when it comes to Antoine but also the way he interacts with the mates of his fellow theatre owners. Snow never sees the good in himself though and spends his time punishing himself for actions in the past.
What Snow doesn't realise is the effect his actions have had on others outside of his family though and he has completely forgotten meeting Aurora when they were both just children. Aurora has spent centuries watching over Snow from a distance and she has suffered for every single sin he has committed but in spite of that she sees the good in him and wants to give him the chance to save himself. It is completely forbidden for her to have direct contact with Snow but he needs the comfort she can offer him desperately and she has to do what she can to help him. It was her act of compassion when they were children that doomed him to a life of hell and although it cost her deeply too she still feels guilty about the part she played in his destruction. Now she has one final chance to make things right but if things go wrong it will cost them both everything.
I don't want to say too much more because I think you're best going into this book knowing as little as possible. What I will say is that I love Snow even more now than I did in the past which is saying something since he was always my favourite. I worried that no heroine would be good enough for him but Aurora is a fantastic match. She is strong enough to stand up to her man, willing to put her life on the line to fight for him and brave enough to risk it all for the things she loves the most. Unleash is a fabulous conclusion to the series and it was great to get a glimpse of the rest of the characters we've come to know and love and see how they have all become such a close knit family.
“Ms Heaton proves to be a wonderful storyteller with this last issue of VET. Not only that it was heart-warming, it was also hot as hell.” ~Under the Covers
This sixth and last installment of Vampire Erotic Theater (VET) lives up to all my expectations. I predicted Snow’s story to be EPIC and Ms Heaton wrote exactly that.
I have had my eyes Snow from the very start, and since then, I have been his number one fan. As much as I’ve read about him, I knew he had a twisted and effed up past that had cost him to have a terrible blood lust. Now I know that it was an act of compassion that doomed him. This book tells us Snow’s nitty gritty past and reveal the heroine who will UNLEASH him to his salvation.
Snow was very young when tragedy happened, and he’d lost his reason to live. Except his responsibility and love for his brother kept him alive. He has been to hell and back for him, literally. With his past, he’s never thought or want any happiness for himself. And now that his brother has found love, he yearns for what he’s missing. It’s hard for me to mention specifics in fear of giving spoilers. But I can tell you right now that his connection to this angel was a bit of a shock for me. If and when you read this book, you’ll see what I mean.
Ms Heaton had picked the perfect heroine for Snow. I was afraid no heroine can ever be good enough for him but Aurora proved to be more than just any Angel. She had turned out to be an alpha female that would do anything for Snow no matter the cost. I actually love her as well. It was wonderful to see that the VET crew had truly made a family. Not just by blood but everyone at Vampirotique. I love seeing everyone protect each other, to death if need be. And the focus to help or save Snow was just heart warming.
Ms Heaton proves to be a wonderful storyteller with this last issue of VET. Not only that it was heart-warming, it was also hot as hell. Wait until you see how Snow claims his mate. I am ecstatic that we finally get Snow’s book, but it also ends the series which I’m not happy about. Well done, Ms Heaton. I will look forward to your upcoming work. And maybe someday get a glimpse of Snow in your future novels.
I almost feel sorry for Felicity when it comes to Snow’s book. Can you imagine writing the hero that so many fans are eagerly anticipating? That had to have been a hefty weight for her to carry. I excited to say that she did not let Snow’s fans down. I have been waiting impatiently to find out all the juicy details about this vamp since the very beginning of the series with Covet. She gave him a remarkable heroine and an extraordinary tale of heartbreak, courage, and overcoming all obstacles.
Is it wrong that my favorite part of this book was when Snow was so out of his mind he went so far caveman that he grunted responses to Aurora, gifted her with a dead animal, and protected her from foes that were not even present? Rawr. He was complete alpha, wholly possessive, and absolutely protective. I thought it was the sexiest thing ever! I would never want this man in real life, but this is my preferred book boyfriend. Snow and all his inner turmoil, anger, and self-loathing was just one of the many reasons I’ve been dying to read his tale. The more we’ve read him we have also seen his gentle loving and caring side, or his gallant noble side that will sacrifice himself for another’s well-being.
Aurora has been punished for another’s bad deeds since childhood. She never gave up though. She knew that what she did to get that punishment was the right thing to do. The choice that she made as a small child has kept her ostracized among her people. Nothing in life has ever been easy for her. The life she has lived has given her everything she needs to stand by Snow’s side and fight for the man she wants. It is almost ironic how the choice of a child binds her to her future choices.
I was pleased to see the couples from all the previous Vampire Erotic Theatre books. Readers are treated to Callum and Kristina’s twins. We are also given plenty of page time for the enormous fight scene where every living being inside of the theatre has to fight for their lives in an epic battle of right and wrong, good and evil.
Oh my! The only explanation for Felicity Heaton's ability to be able to persistently produce amazing books in her V.E.T series, ones that are astoundingly refreshing and unique is her impressive craftsmanship.
Felicity Heaton has produced a full length novel of pretty epic proportions, following the much loved and painfully troubled Snow. For followers of the series, I'm sure we can appreciate the magnitude of Unleash. Snow has managed to capture our hearts throughout the series. Not only in Unleash do we get up close and personal with him, but it's also the series finale.
Once again, Felicity Heaton delivers the ultimate story, a story that is worthy of Snow and has such an emotional depth that it was impossible to not become completely immersed in his story.
The backstory created was moving and disturbing. I wept throughout. Yep, I'm a suck, but I was prepared; I was expecting it! But with the deeply emotive pain that we witness, comes a wonderful joy, a joy and happiness in Snow that is palpable in Felicity Heaton's story.
Enter Aurora.
Aurora was a significantly different character, a different heroine than we have previously seen in this series. This was refreshing. In Aurora we see an endearing and impassioned character. One that is desperate to do the right thing, but is destined to follow a path where she has little control. The creation and development of her character provided to be a real boon for the story.
Unleash is a rollercoaster of a book, with the author taking us to unbelievable, emotional highs and lows,in addition to amazing action scenes that kept me completely gripped. The ending was amazing and danced in the realm of epic proportions with ease.
A perfect finale to one of my favourite paranormal series.
Disclosure: An eARC was provided by the author in exchange for an HONEST and not necessarily positive review.
Unleash is the sixth and final book of the Vampire Erotic Theater series. Snow has been a slave to his bloodlust for centuries. He made a promise to his brother he would not take his own life, but living holds no joy when you can’t even trust yourself. Hidden in the shadows is someone who can give him new life.
Snow captured my attention from the moment I met him early in the series. I feel like I have waited forever for his story. I loved reading his back story, and glimpsing scenes of his childhood. In my opinion, Snow is the most intriguing character of the series. There are so many sides to him; the tortured soul who is in constant pain who can be extremely lethal, yet caring, protective, and loyal. His character absolutely touched my heart just as a certain beautiful angel touched his. My favorite part of the book is when he smiled. I am pretty sure I turned into a puddle on the floor!
After reading and reviewing this series from the start I am very much a fan of Heaton’s books. Her characters are exciting to read about, they are sexy, and even with her great storylines she still brings on the heat! The Vampire Erotic Theater is a series that improved with each and every book, with this last one being the best of all! I am sad to see these books end, but I am satisfied with the way they ended. I will certainly be picking up Heaton’s other works.
If you are a fan of the paranormal and erotica genres, check out this series from the beginning. The books aren’t incredibly long, but they are perfect for curling up and letting your imagination carry you away!
UNLEASH is not the Beauty and Beast story you read as a child.
This is a Vampire story with bite. The ultimate examples of both good and evil as well as life and death clash in this erotic paranormal romance by Felicity Heaton. All of the books in Ms. Heaton’s Vampire Erotic Theater series, and “Unleash” is no exception; are stories with real substance and entertainment value. Our male lead Vampire is named Snow. Discover how he handles his problems, both mental and physical. Our lead female is someone with a long history. She is not as good as she would like to be but she isn’t evil either. Will this story have a happily ever after? You’ll just have to read it and see. The trials and pitfalls that must be overcome are what you would expect in any romance, but the paranormal factor ramps the problems in the story to the roof. The suspense abounds and there are even a few “I did not see that coming” moments as well. This story (the whole series for that matter) sizzles.
Take “Unleash” or any of the other books in the Vampire Erotic Theater series for a test drive. You will enjoy the trip.
You don't have to have read previous books in the series to enjoy "Unleash", you get back ground on the other characters in the story, however, what little I learned about the others makes me want to read the other stories.
Oh, before I forget. You won’t be seeing this Beauty and Beast in any Disney castle. Everything about the book, (and series) is for adults only.
Felicity Heaton unleashed many emotions of mine in this wonderful book!
Unleash is book 6 and the final book in the VET series by Felicity Heaton. The story focuses on Snow. He is an elite, intense and exquisite vampire and an owner of the theatre. He suffers from bloodlust and has to be chained much of the time to keep him and others safe. He has a murderous history and can’t forgive himself for the consequences of his bloodlust and what he and his brother Antoine have lost due to his actions. Antoine’s story and important background on Snow is told in book three, Seduce. I have waited impatiently for this book and I absolutely loved it. It was exciting, sexy, steamy, sad, and happy. Snow’s lady, Aurora was a big surprise for me. She was not what I expected but it makes perfect sense they are destined for each other. I am sad to see the series end but I am hopeful that spin-offs may be in the future. I suppose this book could work as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the whole series to understand the characters. Snow will melt your heart!
SQUEEEEEEE!! Oh my oh my, Snow! I seriously don’t know where to start. I’m speechless! This book, wow. Just wow. If you have read the previous 5 books in the Vampire Erotic Theatre, you are going to drop to your knees with so many incredible feelings, learning Snow’s story. Yes, these books can be stand alone, but why would you do that? READ THEM ALL!!! I don’t know how Felicity Heaton does it, but she totally took everything to a new level. I would think one thing was going to happen and BAM! I was so thankful to have someone fake me out for once! This book is not predictable. You will not want to put it down, it will make you cry, it will make you laugh, it will make you swoon, it will make your heart race, and it will make you want to be Aurora. Seriously. To have such a strong, horribly damaged, even sometimes feared, Male, become the Male you know he can be….because of you? It’s what we all wish for. I highly, HIGHLY, recommend this book. It will go on my list of MUST READS!
This is the long awaited story of Snow. This story is the first to be a full length novel, and this made me very happy because I wanted to know all about the mysterious Snow. This story was a beautiful story of being saved several times and on many levels. This story had me engaged throughout as Felicity’s stories always do! I laughed, cried, got mad, and so much more while reading about Snow and Aurora’s journey over their lives together. Felicity has a way with words that draws you in and always keeps you guessing because her stories are never predictable. This story has everything from babies, brotherly love, vampires, werewolf, angels, stories of hell, Snow’s back story about what he did to his family, bloodlust, and so much more! If you love Paranormal Romance, you must read this series!! **This story was gifted to me for an honest review by the author!!**
I've been waiting to get my greedy little mitts on this book for a while now, even before it was written and we were first introduced to Snow back in the very early books of the VET series. He has been a re-appearing character throughout and what little Felicity revealed about Snow in each book was captivating leaving you yearning for more hence expectations were very high for this book.
And now I have it all I can say is WOW....
The depth of passion and emotion rolling around in Snow's character that he holds at bay, not letting anyone get to close except for his brother Antoine is breathtaking to say the least. Aurora is able to take this passion and emotion and release it not only onto her but also help Snow heal from the sins he is wrought with pain from.
The angel Snow forgot is able to calm his anger, feed his bloodlust with a calming rather than destructive presence and their devotion to each other is very clear from early on.
In this book we are treated to Snow's colourful past through Aurora and it's not pretty to see but it needs to be seen to understand Snow and why he punishes himself to such extremes. Aurora is beautiful, passionate and pure sensing the absolute good in Snow that he keeps hidden well from everyone else.
Trying to keep spoilers at bay there is drama, love, comedy (Payne is awesome), fighting with angels (yep, angels) it's all included an the story jumps from the page making you feel like your involved and part of the family.
It's such a beautiful story and I'm not surprised it's the last in the series as Felicity has saved the best till last.
I'd recommend all the books by Felicity not just this series, but this is without a doubt the winner of the series for me. Check out the VET series and join the family at Vampirerotique! It's one hell of a party!
**I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy of this book for an honest review. Well done Felicity, it's another scorcher!**
This book was the Ultimate in this fabulous series, Unleash is book 6. This is Snow's Story........ If you haven't read the previous 5 books in this series then you definitely should they are so fantastic with the build up to this Final book. Snow is a tortured Vampire lost in Bloodlust he's angry & violent like a caged animal, wild with his thirst for blood & trapped in his own nightmare until one day a song & a sweet fragrance she's called Aurora entices him & his desires to claim her as his Female. Theres loads of Action, Hot Sex, Romance Tears, Smiles, oohs & ahh's all of what a Good book should contain for me.
This book contains so many emotions and I can definitely vouch you may need tissues. This book seemed a long time coming ( although it wasn't ) but it was so definitely worth the wait.
For those of you that want to read this book, please, please read the the previous ones they are so fantastic and you will definitely fall in love with each and every one of the different characters & get to know all about the life & family at the Vampire Erotic Theatre.
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy of this book, for an honest review and by god Felicity you are one talented Lady, Congratulations Felicity, it was truly a captivating book.
I gave this book 5 Stars as the book was totally Awesome
Felicity Heaton is one of my favourite Authors.please check out her other Paranormal books.
Finally we are given insight into Snow's world and if you are an avid follower of this series you would know how big of a deal this is. Throughout the Vampire Erotic series we are given snippets of Snow. Lethal, dangerous, unpredictable Snow, tormented by the bloodlust that runs through his veins.
Little did he know that he had someone watching over him throughout his scarred life. Aurora.
Getting to know Snow was one emotional roller-coaster ride. Take away that tough exterior and we are left with this fragile, beautiful man who is just trying to fight his inner demons. And what demons they are. Felicity brought Snow to life with her amazing ability to create a character with such depth and emotion that anyone to read Unleash would find it hard not to form and emotional attachment to him. And let me tell you, to see him finally find that special someone warmed my heart. But it wasn't without some major hiccups along the way.
The storyline itself was intense, emotional and heartfelt. Deep psychological issues, angels and vampires at war, love, romance and it wouldn't be a Vampire Erotic series member without those toe curling, goosebump creating sex scenes that we all love to read. Felicity creates such vivid erotic scenes and delivers them in such a tasteful way that not only do you feel heated to the core but you feel the emotional connection between the characters.
I loved Unleash and I thank Felicity Heaton for giving it to us!
Another amazing story from Felicity Heaton!! Snow's much anticipated story did not disappoint in any way. Picking up right where Bewitch leaves off, Unleash starts with Snow caught in the throws of his worst case of bloodlust yet. Chained to his bed, everyone in VET visits him daily but unknown to them and him, there is another, an angel who has been watching him since he was a small child, the one he calls Aurora. Snow and Aurora's story exceeded my expectations!! It's packed with action, steam and a lot of emotions. For Snow, who has played a vital role throughout this series, to finally get his happy ending made this story probably one of my favorites!!! A definite must read but I have to highly recommend that you read the rest of the series first. Felicity has definitely made it up the list to a favorite of mine!!!!! I received an ARC of Unleash from the author for an honest review.
I was lucky enough to pre read this story for Felicity as one of her Mistresses of Midnight Street Team. I have been a fan of the Vampire Erotic Theatre series since the first book, and Unleash hasn't disappointed me in the slightest and was well worth the wait. The story of Snow and Aurora, is like a paranormal Romeo and Juliet, without the sad ending. :) I loved this book, everything about Snow makes for a good read. If you love vampires, enjoy romance with an edge of danger, then this book is the one for you! Well done Felicity, you aced it again.:)
Oh My Lord..... Snow is just beautiful, he is all your wildest bad boys rolled into one, impecable manners, old fashioned values and the desire to please, what more could a poor Angel need? Love Felicity has once again written a beautiful heartfelt story of love hate desire and raw sensuality. Thankyou for allowing me to escape to the the wonderful world of the Theatre once again...
I was waiting for Snow's story since the first book of this series. Although I liked it and IMO it's a good ending for the series, something didn't feel right for me. And I still can't pinpoint what it was that felt wrong.
I was graciously given an ARC of UNLEASH by Felicity Heaton to read. This book is the 6th in the VET or Vampire Erotic Theater series and a much anticipated book for readers because we finally are given our novel concerning Snow, the tortured brother of Vampirerotique. Since book one, Snow has been a sexy mystery to us, but also a male who shows a dark and tortured past that has lead to a now dismal future. Each installment has given us more and more glimpses of Snow’s history and his current interactions with each new member of the theater. UNLEASH is his story and time for all to find out if he will ever have any happiness.
I would like to caveat this review by saying Snow’s character has intrigued me from the start of the series and I was very interested to see what the author would do with his book. I was pleased with how the book ended up and the author’s view of Snow’s life and who his perfect mate final ended up to be. Snow has been lost to blood lust most of his vampire adult life, an affliction caused in vampires who try to keep their blood lines pure. He fell to blood lust early, pushed to the condition, because of his many sacrifices he performed for his family in order to either make his mother and father proud, or save his brother from suffering the same atrocities. Snow served in the equivalent to the vampire armed guard and did a tour of duty in hell. While there he is exposed to many horrible events that escalate his blood lust. Snow realizes this cannot happen to his brother and guarantees that his brother never has to do a day in service to the guard, keeping his rick for blood lust at bay. Unfortunately, Snow does not realizes he has lost control of his blood lust, comes home and kills his entire house hold, including his mother and father. It is only the love of his brother that brings him back from the brink enough to muster control and save Antoine’s life. This single event, the annihilation of his family, and the scars he leaves on his brother, will haunt him, guilt him, and continually crack his control on his blood lust for the next 2 centuries of his life.
What UNLEASH shows us about Snow’s life is that he has had a guardian angel. Snow, as a young, innocent, vampire should have died while falling through some ice in a frozen lake. He lives because an angel saves him. This was not supposed to happen; she was supposed to let him die. Vampires are considered demons, and this was a sin to save the life of one, especially one meant to die. The angel cannot understand this concept, because she can only see innocence and goodness in this young vampire. The vampire calls the angel, Aurora. Aurora, as punishment, is then bound to the vampire, so that for every time he sins, it is reflected on her soul as well. This is manifested as her white feathers turn black, one at a time, with each sin, starting with the original one of saving him from the ice.
UNLEASH opens at the closing scene from BEWITCH. Snow has been lost to blood lust for weeks now due to the incubus battle that threatened Antoine and the theater. Everyone has been trying to reach him, but to know avail, and are very much worried he will not recover and come back to them this time. Aurora can not stand to see him suffer any longer and gives him some of her blood, the blood lust ends, but her last and final white feather turns black. She is then punished to be his judge to determine if he is safe to live or should be put to death. Snow, not knowing who she is, is captivated by this female, who is not scarred of him and has the ability to calm his heart. He sees her as his salvation. Aurora must get Snow see he has many reasons to live, and Snow must learn to forgive his past enough to fight. Together they can physically and mentally get over anything if they can trust and love each other and can see where the true dangers are hidden. There are a lot of very passionate and sexy seasons, as well as fighting, and family bonding. UNLEASH offers many things to the series and is a great novel to offer us Snow’s story. 4 stars

I think my heart is in pieces, still. Between the hell of Snow's past with his brother, and over as present with her master, I really think my heart has been ground to dust. So much pain and hurt and betrayal, my heart bled for them throughout this book. However, their connection and relationship would have been nowhere near as strong as it was without the hardships they had. I swear if any two people were meant to be together, it was them.
Snow had my heart in a vice for the longest time. I felt the pain he felt, I felt how tortured and anguished he felt. It was like I was living his hell right along with him. There was no way I could do anything but read faster so his happy ending got there sooner. He was perfection in my eyes. Yes, he was severely broken and had given up on life, but that made everything he said and did so much more powerful. He was beautiful in his brokenness, and when Aurora healed him, he became magnificent. And I swooned so hard during one bloodlust scene in particular. There is no way you can hate this man. His flaws are what made him pure.
I think Aurora was amazing as a heroine. She was innocent enough for me to believe she was an angel (despite obvious proof), but she was experienced enough for me to believe that she could have this naughty side to her. She was tainted, but in the best of ways. Now her master, on the other hand, I want to completely backhand into the next century and then some. For him to treat her in such a way was despicable, and I applaud her for her strength and determination in the face of very impossible odds. She was the perfect mate for Snow. Her love, compassion, and total belief that he was not a monster was the reason she was able to help him. Her pure heart healed his broken one, and her love and presence tamed. She was the antidote to Snow's broken will.
A really felt for all the characters in this book. Not only were the main characters completely captivating, but everyone else we've grown to love had a big role in it too. To see the family they are come together in Snow's biggest time of need was wonderful. Especially in that big epic fight scene, I swear I was holding my breath hoping everyone came out alive.
And the angels? Seriously, I have never wanted to maim celestial beings in my life. But these ones were just ridiculous. It definitely added to the story, them being the way they are, but I just couldn't believe how they treated not only Aurora, but everyone at Vampirerotique. Don't mess with the family! They gonna kick yo ass!
Another phenomenal story by Heaton. Snow and Aurora's relationship was beautiful, even with all the pain and darkness that it was drowned in. Their coming together, their love for each other, everything was so deep and so true that I was completely immersed in it.
Unleash is an intense, wild rollercoaster ride with fiery characters, tortured souls and a past that pulls at the heart strings.
I was given an Arc of Unleash and have to say I devoured it. I’m sure that I was not the only one awaiting the arrival of Snow's story. ** sigh **
Felicity certainly did not disappoint in this much awaited instalment. We see a different side to Snow we have never seen and I have to say he is just pure ** Smoking Hotness**. Perfectly flawed - sexyliscious and a soul that just needed a little understanding. Many a times I felt for Snow - his past that still haunts him, his future that awaits him and a woman who is willing to look past his past flaws just to love him. I have to say that many a times, my heart broke for Snow - reliving past mistakes seemed to take its toll on his overall willingness to believe he deserved something more.
I loved Aurora's such caring side. I have to say this is my favourite book in this series, and will be re-reading it again.
Her character was certainly not flawless; she was angelic in her own ways more than the celestial beings that ended up in the end of the story.
Snow and Aurora are from two different worlds, but when the chemistry becomes apparent neither can stop it. Aurora‘s constant faith in Snow just gave me Goosebumps. I think she is one of my favourite characters to date. So very brave, loving and strong. Beautiful inside and out and willing to do anything to save him, and his soul. (( sniff sniff )
But a love like this - there is consequences. The one above is not impressed and will wreak havoc on both Snow and Aurora testing Snow like no one has ever.
The romance sub-plot between Snow and Aurora weaves its way throughout the story. The romance is gradually paced and the love is just sizzling. Hot and downright – Volcanic ….. You will feel the steam wafting off the pages. I had to say I was just a tad jealous of Aurora at times ;) grins.
Overall, if you love romance stories and characters with enough depth to match the action, suspense and kick arse scenes. Then this story is for you.
Unleashed is packed to the brim with a strong plot. Memorable characters with a loveable heroine and a kick arse strong and caring Vampire. Who certainly knows how to protect the ones he loves, right till the very end.
Felicity Heaton once again weaves her magic in this instalment - giving us vivid descriptions throughout, memorable characters, and characters brought forth from previous instalments.
This is a full length novel, and I have to say -----
The best yet in this series.
A must read.
Snow and UNLEASH is everything I could’ve wanted in this book and more
I've been a big fan on the VET series from Felicity Heaton since I read the first book, Covet!!
UNLEASH is SNOW'S story and is, sadly, the 6th and final book involving the Vampirerotique Theatre and the group of vampires that live and work there! Fans of Felicity's books & the girls over at her Mistress of Midnight Street Team have waited a good while for the big guys story but gods, I'm sure they'd all agree it was well worth it!!!!
Snow has been involved in each of the VET characters books from the beginning and we have watched as he fought hard to overcome his bloodlust & try to lead as good & quiet a life as he could - not easy to live when you need to be chained hand and foot to a bed on an almost daily basis to avoid hurting yourself and/or others!!!
In Unleash we find out about Snow's past, what has happened in his very long life and the tragic events that led to him being so tortured & haunted. We discover why his brother, Antoine, worries about him so much and we find that there may just be a small glimmer of hope for his future!!!
This is a true love story - however, it was no bed of roses or all heart and flowers!!!- No - reading Snow's story was absolutely heartbreaking at times!! I cried (a lot) from nearly the beginning of the book and used up a not so small pile of tissues throughout!!! Aurora - Snow's lady love - is not what you'd expect and she has quite a sad tale to tell too!
I was so torn about the fact that Snow's story was the final book in the series as, while I was desperate to read it, I was sad that this was the end of our time with everyone at the theatre.... Thankfully, Felicity has hinted that this might not be the last we that we come across our vampires and their 'family'!!
We get a chance to see all of our favourite characters for one last time!! This was a fabulous finale to a wonderful series and for me it's a definite 5* read
While you could most likely read Unleash as a standalone , I honestly think that to enjoy it fully you should read the rest of the series in order. Hope you love them as much as I did!!!!
** I was very fortunate to receive an ARC copy of Unleash from Felicity Heaton in exchange for an honest review**
I started reading this series on a whim, and I got so wrapped up into the characters that just I couldn't stop. The vampires at Vampireotique are really like family, and to see each or their struggles and how they pull through together is really what makes these books so great...in addition to the romance. :) And this final book made the series truly great!! Having watched Snow's struggles with his bloodlust throughout the series made me very anxious for his story, and it wasn't disappointing!
Snow's true history finally comes out, and it is far from pretty. Despite his past, there are stil those that believe in him and encourage him to move on towards the future. Although he has his brother and family in those at Vampireotique, he has always, however, wished for death...a death he feels he deserves more than anything. When an angel comes back to him from his dreams, however...everything changes.
Aurora has always seen the good in Snow, ever since the night she first saved him so long ago. Despite her master's wishes and the "curse" she is forced to bare because of him, she can't get him out of her head and has always kept a close watch over him. When she finally comes to him after a really bad bout of bloodlust, it begins to become clear that she has a positive affect on him, and she challenges him to the extreme. While sent to judge him for his past, she is driven to prove his worthiness for a second chance at life.
I laughed and I got teary eyed! Unleash was my favorite book in the series, and I will really miss it now that it is finished!! The characters are all great, but I think I really loved Snow and Aurora's the best! I am officially a fan of Heaton, and can't wait to read more from her!
Oh, Snow! I've been waiting for your story since... well, for a while now. And you didn't disappoint. You're all tortured and tormented and full of guilt and other things that don't sound very fun. I'm not going to lie, that makes you AWESOME to read about. It doesn't hurt that you have that smoldering sexual thing working for you. It's probably all the pent up tension. It has to come out somehow.
Yes, Snow is awesome. That's kind of a given. He finds an excellent match in Aurora, the woman who has been tied to him for centuries without him realizing it. That whole THING they had KILLED me. It was hard reading how Aurora was punished years before for an act of compassion. In fact, Aurora's master's actions were disturbing on a lot of levels.
I liked seeing Snow's bloodlust in all it's ugly glory. I liked that we got answers to what had happened with his family and we got to see it through his eyes. I liked that Aurora pushed him to face what he had done so he could start the healing process.
All that was great but the final battle was EPICALLY AWESOME. Seriously, having all the players come together to fight for the things they believed in made me all swoony on the inside. They were bound by blood and purpose and it WORKED. It was an outstanding ending and I loved it to pieces.
I'm sad to see this series end but I must say that it's ending on a high note. Goodbye, naughty vampires and the various other beings who populate the theatre. You and your sexy ways will be missed!
This was probably the most anticipated book in this series among the fans and Felicity knew that and was cruel enough to write this last. Nonetheless, noone can be mad at her, because with Unleash she has delivered an eminent ending to the series. Although I have a little hope, that she will give us a few more books about the next generation, maybe (hint, hint).
Snow's and Aurora's story is captivating, dramatic, emotional and very intense. It's about salvation, forgiveness and second chances, betrayal, but most of all, it's about what's worth living...Love.
This book is not action packed (I should mention the final battel part because, Devil, that was freaking E-P-I-C), but this story digs deep into the reader's heart and soul. The characters' fascinating history and their connection, their goals worked perfectly with the main conflict of the story.
Aurora's true identity brought something fresh, some plus to this world. And Snow was exactly the character I hoped for. As for the side characters, it was great to see the wole crew together several times and I can easily believe this is a freaking big, but a real family.
The reason I give it 4,5 stars instead of 5 is because there was much more internal monologue and way less real dialogue. I think Snow and Aurora should have comunicated more.
Unleash took the series to a whole new level. It was already more than just an erotic paranormal romance series for a while now, but the icing on the cake was definitely Snow's divine story. Absolute favorite of mine in the series. Perfect ending!
I have been wanting to see Snow get his HEA since Covet! Figures that he would be last.
I love Snow. I have since the beginning, as I said. But Aurora…I don't know. I don't hate her, but I don't know if I really like her, either. She should have broken the damn rules and helped Snow centuries earlier. That alone makes me not her biggest fan. She just strikes me as shady and pretending to be sweeter and more innocent than she is.
Snow is like the poster boy for all tormented, damaged Heros. I *do* like how Aurora gets Snow to remember everything and I love her for showing him that he is not just a mindless killer while in bloodlust.
And, Snow with babies? Love, love, love him!
So, I really loved the last two books, so I expected to really love this one, too. After all, I already love Snow! But, no. Aurora just didn't really do it for me. I can't even really pinpoint what exactly she did to make me not like her (other than being damn late). But, it's still a good story, and so worth it just to see Snow get saved! Everyone else seems to love her and this book, I'm definitely in the minority here. If you've read the previous five books, I'm sure you'll read this one, too. And, like the majority, probably love it.
I am sad that this series is over, but looking forward to more from Felicity in her Eternal Mates series.
Unleash is last and most awaited book in the Vampire Erotic Theatre series. This is Snow’s story. He is an old troubled soul who recently, over the last century, has found his compassion for family and friends even though he has not ventured out of the Theatre over this time.
An angel, given the name Aurora, by Snow, has been looking out for him for the last two thousand years and through all the evilness that Snow has endured and created, she has stood by him throughout, at times rebelling against her own kind to support him.
This story is about Snow and Aurora finally coming together and discovering how much they need each other even though their time together is running out.
Like most fans of this series, this is the story that I’ve been waiting for. I’m a sucker for troubled souls and they come no more troubled than Snow.
Unleash has everything that you expect from Ms. Heaton’s series, passion, erotica as well as endearing moments, especially when Snow’s protectiveness for those who he loves comes out.
Unleash is a rollercoaster of emotions and an excellent way to finish a brilliant series. This book wraps up the series nicely as all the main characters are involved and detailed snippets of what has been happening within their own lives are mentioned throughout.
Unleash by Felicity Heaton is the sixth and final book in the Vampire Erotic Theatre Romance Series. It features Snow and Aurora. When the book begins Snow is in a fierce battle with his bloodlust. A battle that he feels he cannot win. A battle that he hopes will finally end him and his life of guilt and torment. He is a tortured soul and Aurora, though she has reason to hate him, finds her heart going out to him. She comes to offer a soothing touch and song during the height of Snow’s bloodlust and when he awakens he finds himself teased by a long forgotten scent and the memory of a song…
Unleash is a wonderful story of two very compelling characters finding an impossible love. Snow must find the strength to battle his bloodlust and find redemption against a ticking clock. And with Aurora’s help Snow might just have a chance to win against all the odds. Aurora is a great heroine. She is good and strong, wise and compassionate. It is a joy seeing these two characters come together and grow to love each other. Their love is both tender and scorching hot.
I really enjoyed Unleash. It is fast paced, interesting, touching and erotic. An entertaining battle for hope and love. I recommend it to fans of Paranormal Romance.
This is the sixth and final installment on the V.E.T vampire romance series. I have been eagerly awaiting the release of this book since I first read Covet because Snow is my favourite character. We have seen snippets of him throughout the other 5 books but this one is set wholly around him and his mate, Aurora.
And it does not disappoint.
It picks up about 3 weeks after the end of the Bewitch, book 5 in the series, with Snow coming round from his latest bout of blood lust. It introduces the woman set to bring light to his life as she helps him out of this darkness, refusing to give up on him.
The books builds gently with the two main characters getting to know each other, falling in love and it culminates with a great battle in theatre involving all the main characters. Not wanting to give any spoilers away, basically it ruled!
This is an amazing ending to this series and I would highly recommend this author and this series to anyone looking for a new paranormal romance series to sink their teeth into.
Felicity Heaton is very talented and I eagerly await any new releases from her.
At last the most tormented soul on the VET series gets his chance of redemption and some peace. And for those of us that have been eagerly awaiting his story this book will not be a disappointment.
Since he killed his family and almost his brother all those centuries ago, Snow has wanted nothing more than to pay for his sins with his life. Bound by a promise that if broken would chatter his brother's heart, Snow lives a tortured existence where survival means being chained, and where the brief moments of clarity just leave him longing for a happiness that is just beyond his reach, just outside any realm of possibility.
Unknown to Snow, an angel has been watching him since the time he almost died as a small child. As they grew up, she has watched her pure white wings gets tainted with each of his sins, and yet she does not regret her decision to save his life.
Snow and Aurora are bounded by fate but their destiny is in their hands.
It was a pleasure to watch their story unfold. Their struggles felt real as did their emotions. A fitting ending for a great series.
