Alone in Montreal, Smith must face his past, and the women who shaped his ideas about romance. This is the thrilling conclusion of the 4-part Billionaire Novelist series.
Swapping points of view and the look into Smith's past that explains so much. Now that Tori has gone home after learning part of his past Smith is having to come to terms with his own romantic past so that he can move forward with the one he wants. But Tori is trying to move past the man that was consumed her for those two weeks and nearly destroyed her.
This summed up the story nicely - all loose ends tied up in a nice little bow and we get some explanations as to why Smith was the way he was. We also are given some hope that he can truly change for the girl that broke him.

Sometimes when I read a series or a book and I can't believe I'm still reading it, I stumble across something that makes me consider it differently. This part did that for me. For some reason I was a little more on board with this serial than I was before. I'll go into why soon enough but I'll start with a summary.
It was an okay serial for a quick read and I didn't hate it. I just had a lot of issues with it in general. I'm not sure if I would recommend it but for 99 cents (at the time), it was an okay experience. If you want to try her work or you're looking for an erotic serial, it might be worth the money.

Finally we get Smith’s back story. I feel like I know him so much better now. Some of what he has done in the past makes sense now. You can’t help but feel bad for him in the end. He is a damaged soul, that is for sure, but he has found a women he can love, and he takes the chance with Tori in the end.
After running away from Smith and his emotional (and a little scary) revelations, Tori goes home to mourn. What she finds is her mom and her friends supporting her in their own ways, and encouraging her to take a chance on love, even if it’s fucked up sometimes. These ladies were hilarious! I was cracking up the whole time as these old ladies talked about sex, love, and, well, sex.
Everything was wrapped up pretty well. A good ending, though not amazing.
The Bad
I still wish I fell in love with Smith more. I am happy we got his story, but he’s done too much crap to get over. I really wanted Smith to blow me away with getting Tori back, but really all it took was a hint of interest and she came running back.
The Snuggly
The sex is still fun, feisty, and raunchy. My fav part.
Final Thoughts
I am happy I read this series. It wasn’t the best from Mimi, but it was interesting, that’s for sure. Recommended.
Quotes
“What’s the hurry? Life is all the things that happen along the way.”
“If we’d crashed, my final mortal thought would have been , what is the plural of moose?”
“She was cranky from traveling, which forced me to be in a good mood, because you can’t have tow redheads cranky at the same time.”
In Typist 4 Mimi strong hits it out of the park ! She gives us all of smiths history. Once I read all about Smith it was plane to see he wan't a Douchebag even know he acted like it in the past- Thus making me fall in love with Smith. Lots of hot sex . Whew this installment was my favorite but I loved the whole series really . You'll have to read it to see if smith goes after tori or not and will they get their HEA? Ending was good- of course there's room to continue if Mimi feels it.
Quotes:
"You got the strawberry pie and you're done."
"What's the hurry? Life is all the things that happen along the way."
"If we'd crashed, my final mortal thought would have been , what is the plural of moose?"
"He has more tattoos than a junkyard dog has fleas."
"She was cranky from traveling, which forced me to be in a good mood, because you can't have tow redheads cranky at the same time."
I read all four instalments of Billionaire Novelist together, so this will be a blanket review of the complete story.
The whole story was fairly fast-paced, very hot, somewhat naughty, and actually quite funny in places.
Tori is a feisty redhead, who takes a two-week typing job (as she really needs the money), for a mysterious author, in a secluded cabin in Vermont.
The author turns out to be her mother’s favourite author, Smith, who’s a lot older and extremely sexy. He’s supposed to come across as a tough guy but we see glimpses of his vulnerability.
Their attraction is immediate. As the story unfolds, it’s revealed that Tori is not completely unknown to Smith. Also, Smith’s own troubled past is divulged.
All in all, a pretty good, fun, erotic story with snappy dialogue and laughs.
And, at long last, we finally get to see what makes Smith Wittingham tick. All the reasoning behind the things he did and how he ended up with Tori as his typist.
On Tori's side, we get to see how she truly feels about Smith and whether or not they're just a fling or if there's something more there.
This installment ties up the series nicely and answers all the questions raised, plus a few we had no idea about. These two are utterly cracked at times, but they make for a very entertaining read.
I do not like to show interest in a book if an author takes what should be one book and splits it in to a zillion pieces! But this author, whom I have never read her work, offered all 4 books for free and I downloaded every single one and read one right after the other. I loved these characters and the story was body humming hot! Thank you for the humor, class of writing hot sizzling scenes and providing me with a great few days with this spectacular duo! Love it and will miss both main characters like mad! Yummy book, awesome writer, sexy, funny, frustrating, maddening and worth paying for! No fluff here just honest and great writing!
All I can say is wow! What a fantastic finish to a great series! I was very happy to read some of Smith's background and understood a lot of the feelings he had inside. That didn't excuse the way he treated Tori but I began to understand that there was more to it. The background made me like Smith even more and I really wanted everything to work out. I was also glad that Tori wasn't immune to Smith and that there were feelings hidden deep inside. The ending was good with everything getting resolved between Tori and Smith. Really really loved this series!
I REALLY wanted to love this book but I just didn't...it felt like a wrap up instead of an actual book. I love that they got their HEA but something was just missing for me in this whole series. It was a great concept and maybe if it got fleshed out more I would have a different outlook on it. I do encourage others to read the series for themselves and not take my review as being "BAD" because I did like the series as a whole. I just felt it was lacking something...
Oh Smith, we found out so much more about him in this last installment. I felt bad for the guy after finding out about his past and what happened to his ex-wife. It was sad when Tori left but who can blame the gal. Being hit with all that info at once it takes time to take it all in. They both needed time apart. Dinners at any fancy restaurant is always pure excitement that Smith will always wonder what will happen, will she behave or will I be left at the table again. Nice ending.
Not too sure what I felt with this series. There's attraction and a lot of sex but not a lot of emotional attachment. Poor girl meets rich famous author and becomes his typist and of course he's attractive but she clearly throws herself at him. Each book just felt they were missing key components to make it a great series.
This series has made me a HUGE Mimi fan. I loved how she told a story within a story. It was so neat to read and watch another story unfold. I wasn't quite sure that I would like this book simply because the beginning kind of threw me off. How it would go from Smith remembering past events to Tori talking about present things. Once I got used to that, I loved it!
I loved the series. The characters are very real. You cannot help but be involved with these characters and their decisions. Mimi Strong's humor is visible thru this series. The conclusion is like the icing of this "cake".
This last one is my favorite of the series! This one goes deeper into Smith's life. I'm glad to learn everything that went on to influence the decisions he makes in the relationships he's in. Love the ending! Great job Mimi!
4 of 4 in series Tori goes to work as a live in Typist for a very successful author Smith Wittingham. This series follows their attraction to each other their discovery and the final reveal of all truths.
Wow - there were a few omg did that just happen moments in this series but the characters were so strong and snarky and the action was hot - erotica with humour, I was sniggering all the way through, and the hea fitted the story without being corny .. Fab
Now the author wants to get serious? The first three books were total smut with the third being utterly disgusting and then all of the plot is in this book. But it's no real surprise, messed up girl with older man issues falls in love with messed up older man with red-head issues.
Perfect fireplace book. True he is a billionaire but she is everything he wants... She took him back too easily but love make people do stupid things. I was hoping for one last firework at the end.
I liked this story but this part I didn't understand what the purpose of this part was I also wish that the ending of this was more like an ending just didn't get it
This was a pretty good ending for a series that was characterized by shallow characters who were not well-developed. However, by the conclusion, Smith was more well-rounded and Tori was not as immature. I actually liked this novel but felt that more questions were created by the ending.
Nice finish to the story although is a book, it helps sometimes for stories to be a bit more realistic & to be honest this 4 books were anything but that
Yes!! Third book had me almost changing my mind but I am so glad I read this conclusion. I'm a bit speechless at the moment. What a fine ending it was!
