Hmm, think I'll give this one a rating of 3.75 🌟.
I found this one the most engrossing of the series so far. We got a whole group of new characters, lotsa pretty harass ladies & we got to see some new demon blades 🔪 My favorite is Evadine.
This volume felt like we got more plot for our pages vs the previous two volumes seemed more ground work. I liked the change of pace 👌 And can't wait to see where the next volume takes us.
My only issue with this was Cecily had sudden changes in stance/emotion on things that just didn't feel wholly realistic. Doris, Margot & Penelope attacked her & tried to steal Aria to give her to Charlotte. Cecily is rightfully furious. Then about halfway through she's like all mellow and chill with all the girls, like huh? 😕 They still intended to steal Aria but now Cecily deeply cares for them all? She's a more forgiving soul than I'd be in that situation 🙈😅

The demand for demon blades is very high and they are being horded.

This is the third volume in the Sacred Blacksmith series. I found this volume to be pretty boring, again with a lot of focus on how huge Cecily's breasts are (I am really not sure why that has to play such a big role in these fight scenes).
This book introduces us to Charlotte E. Firobisher, who demands that Cecily give her Aria (a Demon Blade). When Cecily refuses Charlotte commands her three guards (who all wield demon blades) to attack Cecily.
Cecily again is pretty lame in the ensuing fight and Luke has to step in to save her....again. The plot creeps forward just a small amount and Cecily shows absolutely no character growth.
The illustration is decent and I like some of the characters. But mostly I thought this was boring and I continue to dislike that Cecily is defined mainly by her breast size. In fact a couple of the other women who are wielding demon-blades seem to hate her explicitly for her big boobs...so weird.
Overall this is an okay fantasy manga, but not great. I don’t enjoy how much Cecily’s breast size drives the story and how lame Cecily is as a character. On top of that this volume was just plain boring. I think I am done with this series and wouldn’t recommend. If you are looking for a good fantasy manga series check out Claymore or Beserk.

I have no idea why Goodreads failed to translate the description to English, but this is the correct ISBN. The Kindle version has the English translation (of course!).
I'm tiring of this story; is there anyone I can admire in this manga? If so, I've failed to find them. 3 down and 6 to go - ugh!

The third book in the series introduces the readers to the Lady Charlotte and her three companions as they come to the city Housman for Luke and the Demon Sword Aria. I have found the character development in this manga to be good so far and the artwork has been beautiful and scary at times. It has not failed to impress me yet. I still don't understand the need to have the breasts of females exposed in one way or another in recent manga I have read but considering how nice the art is I don't mind so much(note this is an older teen series so don't let anyone under 16 read it.)
If you have already read the first two books You will have more Cecily growing into a stronger person and you will also see more into what has made Luke the type of person he is so I hope you enjoy. :)
Personally my favorite part of the book is toward the end when Cecily exhausted from training confronted her opponent(not saying who)and shows her determination to grow stronger to protect those she cares for. Course the extras at the end of the book are really neat as well. :)

To be honest, I don't know why this volume was necessary. I got absolutely nothing out of it, not even an actual advancement to the plot. Had I skipped this volume and gone to the next, I don't think I would actually feel the slightest bit lost.

This is a strange sort of Manga, that defies categorization. I love it. The fanservice is ridiculous. That is all.

This series is so....meh. It has great art and a cool premise...though it's an idea a lot of stories have, to be honest. I mean having swords of odd and unwieldy power is the basis of a good chunk of manga and anime. So it's already on a steep incline directly into the whole 'why even bother' category. The characters are kind of generic for this genre as well. They are super into training and proving themselves for whatever reason and there is the one character who sweeps in when things get too crazy to set things right. So it loses it's footing and slides down the incline a bit more. Then there is the fanservice.
This falls into Ecchi, because it's less gratuitous panty shots and more 'look boobs' in areas. (Also seriously artists? Manga is full of boob sock shirts but boob sock armor? That just looks ridiculous and I just keep thinking of her having to stuff her boobs individually into these metal holders and I cringe. And she runs and jumps and her chest has to have bruising, it just has to....) I'm not opposed to either to be honest...so long as it doesn't disrupt the flow of the story or has an actual point and purpose. If your shirt gets blown off in an explosion...cool whatever...I mean it's stupid but fine. If at every opportunity someone rants about how obscene your fully clothed chest is? It gets old quick. We get it, her boobs are huge and she has a problem with people looking at them (which makes me question why she goes the trouble of stuffing them in a metal boob casing in the first place)...but to remind me of her gigantic boobs (which I can clearly see) every freaking chapter is idiotic. You either have a story or you don't, and this barely has a story.
This volume, in particular, is one you can just skip. The selling point would be if you really really want to see naked girls. I mean there isn't anything wrong with that...but I mean we need, to be honest here, this is barely even quality ecchi. It's just sort of shoehorned in and it's usually during the most emotional portions.
Will I continue the series? Yeah, sure. It's a completed series as of this year (2017) and each volume takes maybe an hour to read, I can spare 6 more hours somewhere in my life I guess. It'll eat away at the time I spend staring blankly into space, which is some of my best work.

this one took longer to finish, don’t know why...(maybe it was more boring idk) i gave it 4/5 stars because of the fact that EVERYONE is so obsessed with how big Cecily’s boobs are! seriously though, why does that make the new characters not like her? cause her chest is bigger and your flat?!? it makes no sense... anyways, i’m excited for the next volume
