I was really looking forward to this author after all the good reviews. Instead what I got was writting for the teenage set. Unfortunately with a limply written foursome sex scene I couldn't even let my daughter read this. I found nothing engaging about thiese books. Although, in full disclosure I gave up after the second book. In addition, I would recommend to the author a new proof reader. Not a bunch of mistakes, but enough to be noticeable.
I'm giving this 3 stars because of the editing. The books are excellent stories and very interesting however they are hard to read due to the inconsistencies in the editing. People get up when they're already sitting, names are confused within situations and that's just the beginning. I these are on Kindle so editing shouldn't be that difficult. Really sad.
The books were well written but they tended to conflict in timelines for me and I found that after the first three books I was growing tired of the stories. This boxed set is also not labelled well. It is more werewolves than vampires and I do not have a strong liking for werewolves.
H.T. Knight writes well so I cannot fault the author for my lack of not being able to finish the stories. Josiah Reign is a fascinating hero. I rather wish all the books had been about him.
The price -- currently 2.99 and what I paid -- is a super fair price so you are probably going to have to read these books for yourself in order to make a judgement. Knight IS a good writer so I might go looking for just one book of his rather than a boxed set.
A lot of things have happened since. 2014 Was a very hard year for myself so all the reviews are showing up on the same date. I can't explain why they are, if the ratings are justice or accurate I can also not say when I truly read these. I'm just going to say 2014 on the same day added just to keep the year right if not the month...
An interesting compilation of various started series. I liked them well enough nice easy reads a few surprises and lots of down to earth characters. Hard to recommend when some of the stories are different from others. They are worth a quick read through but not high up on the list.
Thought I was buying a whole series. Instead I got 4 of Vampire Love Story; 3 of Entwined; and 1 of Spider. I hate being left hanging and sucked into buying the next book. Writing was okay but more "telling " than "experiencing "
Enjoying this vampire werewolf love story. I'm on book 3 Forever and always chapter 2 and noticed when you were talking about the inflight movies you mentioned that Sean Connery was Welsh when he is I fact Scottish.
