3.5 stars.
I've got to say I love the heroine's superpower. How cool would it be if your teacher can just talk to you and everything is absorbed into your brain without having to study! I also liked that she can talk to the baddies into a trance and they just follow her voice...just like the Pied Piper!

I feel like giving this Science Fiction Romance 4 stars just for the awesomeness of the heroine's superpower-teaching! Yea!
The world building is good as well as the romance. The heroine is very clever and, again, a wonderful read for the superpower.
