"Kennedy" by Reg Gadney is based on the 1983 American television miniseries that was written by Reg Gadney, and starred Martin Sheen and Blair Brown as JFK and Jacqueline.
This book is a good starter on Kennedy and gives you small insight to the political challenges he faced as President mainly, "The Bay of Pigs" fiasco, and "The Cuban Missile Crisis", and the rising violence towards blacks and the threat of nuclear war. This isn't a deep dive into his White House years but it gives you the basic facts and information about the issues he faced and how his administration dealt with them. His goals, such as putting a man on the moon would be a reality in 1969.
Easy to read and get a gist of the political situations of the time. Ends rather abruptly after his assassination. Very dated now but gives a good starting point for further reading.
