The Transcend Time Saga is about a high school student named Lizzie who has been reincarnated from 1815, England, but doesn't realize it until she meets her soul mate from the past and he triggers her memories to gradually return.
Michelle Madow is a USA Today bestselling author of fantasy romance novels filled with forbidden love, elemental magic, and epic twists that readers never see coming. With over three million books sold and translations in multiple languages, her addictive stories have captured hearts around the world.
She wrote her first novel in college and never looked back. Now, with 50 books published (and counting), she spends her time dreaming up magical realms and devastating romances that keep readers hooked from page one.
Originally from Maryland, she spent nearly two decades in Florida before a brief chapter in NYC—and now she’s back in the Sunshine State, where golden days fuel her creativity and moonlight sparks her imagination.
When she’s not writing, she’s likely getting lost in the magical world of reading, plotting her next big twist, or reminiscing about her travels to all seven continents.
If you're a fan of Michelle Madow's transcend time series you will love Transcendence! Michelle included deleted scenes, character interviews, how she began her journey writing the series, and my personal favorite part, her journey to publishing Remembrance. Michelle is an inspiration to all aspiring writers, I want to congratulate her on her next series, which was sold to Harlequin Teen. Thank you Michelle for writing this book for all of us who loved following Lizzie and Drew on there journey to keep true love "alive"
I've read the whole Transcend Time Saga, and I absolutely loved it! I really liked this extra book as well! I really liked that the author explained how much work it actually is to write and publish a book. I also liked the short stories and the character interviews and facts.
Wow, I love Michelle's writing! This book was beyond amazing. I love the whole reincarnation plot, the themes of Pride and Prejudices and the parallels. I sympathized with Drew and how conflicted he was with everything, I loved Jeremy and how possessive he was. Michelle writes characters that you can always relate to and see yourself in. This time around Lizzie hates winter, even though the current place that she resides has winter about 9 months out of the year (I feel like this applies to my life situation). I enjoyed how complex each character was, and how developed they became in this short novel. I am super duper excited to see where the future takes them! W00t!
This book is for everyone-for people who want to read the saga & for those who are done. ( And those who are waiting to graba copy of Timeless, like me:))) I really enjoyed this book since it showed some extras, and I also learned a little bit more about the characters of the story, esp, Lizzie. But watch out though, because, I read a chapter of Timeless here, which I didn't read yet, but at least I get a preview of the book:)) 5 stars:))
I did not gain a lot from reading this. It was interesting to see the author's development of the characters but I did not find the additional information to endear me any more to the characters. The sample chapters from the books were useless to be because I read all of the others first.
Read this book only if you really like the saga. It contains a few chapters from the first book, some deleted scenes, the characters' bio, and some stories about Michelle's effort in getting this book published. Her effort deserves some serious applause. Congrats on the progress!
I'm still trying to find out why Chelsea had a different name in her previous life but not Lizzie and Drew, and I also still want to have Chelsea's HEA, preferably with her soul mate! I felt the saga was too short and missing many plots. Anyway, because I've read Michelle's other latest series, what she's capable of, and this was her debut saga, I'll let this one slip away.
A cute little book best described as bits and pieces from and about the series. There are "deleted scenes" and "interviews" with the characters as well as character bios. It's a nice little companion piece.
I found Transcendence to be very unique in its approach to a bonus package. I had not read any of the books in the series, but I had chosen this book because of its cover. (Yes, I'm a cover freak.)
I thoroughly enjoyed the peek inside Remembrance and plan to read it. I was getting into the characters Drew, Jeremy, Chelsea, and Liz, and then the sneak preview ended. But it gave enough to pique my interest.
At the end of the bonus package Michelle Madow gave the reader a really good view of all of the characters and laid out very nicely in interview format who they are and their likes and dislikes. For example, a character might have a list of his or her favorite books or movies. In the case of one of the characters, Chelsea, it even had a list of her make-up.
Finally the author told of her experience trying to get published, how she began writing, about her many rejections prior to publishing independently. Plus she gives some sound advice to up-and-coming authors.
Recommendation Definitely a good addition; however, I think it's better to read the other books first.
This book is not really necessary when reading The Transcend Time Sage, but I do recommended reading it. I enjoyed getting to read more from Chelsea's point of view with the bonus scene. I felt that that scene was perfect for Chelsea and Drew. You get to see how Drew acted with her when they were dating. The deleted chapter from Timeless did not seem to slow the pace of the novel at all, but I do see where it would have been a little awkward for Lizzie telling Keelie. My favorite part of The Bonus Packet was defiantly the Character Extras! They just added so much more the the characters in the series. It was the perfect touch.
