Paddington Minds the House
Left to his own devices, Paddington decides to surprise the Browns. In between baking them a chocolate cake, he sets about giving the house a 'Spring Clean'. Unfortunately, the two don't always mix! Another appealing adventure for Paddington in the Little Library series. Young children will love this story featuring their favourite bear. With a simple text and delightful illustrations, this small format hardback book is perfect for reading to the very young, or for children just learning to read for themselves. Paddington is left home alone and he sets about completing some chores around the house including plans to bake a surprise. It's a funny book and of course there's some mishap to read about.

I'm a lifelong Paddington fan. In true Paddington style something always goes wrong. There is always the comedy when he has good intentions but has a mishap. This story teaches responsibility and rectifying things you've caused or cleaning up after yourself. Maybe Paddington learnt that multi-tasking wasn't such a good idea after all!

Another easy read fun-filled adventure full of Paddington's chaos and mishaps all coming from his good intentions to do some "Spring Cleaning". I feel his pain. He tries so hard to do a good deed but nothing seems to go in his favour. My boys loved the story and the illustrations but my eldest was sad "the hoover ate the cake mix" but loved the happy ending.

This was very funny. Classic Paddington is very silly and I was worried he would ruin the house and get in trouble. I’m glad the ending was different to that though.

Minding the house with Paddington. I'm no native speaker - so I actually learn new words by reading those children's books in English.. And it is so much fun!
