Rate this book
Rick Carson's Taming Your Gremlin ® has helped hundreds of thousands of people combat the inner saboteur lurking in the recesses of every human mind. Now Rick takes you to the next level by revealing new ways to escape your gremlin. Rick shows how to access the "natural you"—a place of clear feelings and pure potential. He also shares his powerful I CREATE seven keys for creating rewarding relationships, which our gremlins love to mess with. With wit, wisdom, and plenty of real-life vignettes, Rick helps gremlin-tamers at all levels give gremlins less than the time of day.

If my house catches on fire, my dog and this book go with me! I have read Taming your Gremlin and A Master Class in Gremlin-Taming several times each and recommend them to anyone interested in a mindfulness approach to successfully navigating all that daily life can throw at us. I recommend owning both books--they compliment one another. They're the ONLY self-help books anyone could possibly need--and I hate to throw them under that single genre because they really are in a genre of their own--self-help, philosophy, psychology, creative living...all of these descriptors apply. Although I hate audio books, I also own the audio version in order to absorb the wisdom of the method in another way. The author does the reading and his humor comes through even more than in the text version. I am so grateful for Rick Carson's work--both of these books have made such a difference --they have served as indispensable tools for learning how not only to navigate the rough and rocky times but also how to glean more enjoyment out of life in general!

At root, has a lot of overlap with Byron Katie. The image of the gremlin may be helpful or a hindrance.
