First I want to say that I am a big fan of Emma Mills entire Witchblood Series. I was very happy to hear that Ms. Mills had chosen to add a fourth book even though originally this series was slotted to be a trilogy. I believe that her next book Witch Hunt will be another success.

Witch Love picks up with Jessica James three months after the devastating deaths of her best friend, Alex, along with Eva and her sire, Daniel, the vampire she had been in love with. They died when a null bomb was used. A null bomb is an efficient way of destroying any supernatural evidence. Once the null bomb has been detonated, any and all things supernatural are rendered to dust. Jess' grief was punctuated with moments where she was sure she still felt some little spark of a connection with Daniel. But Sebastian, the leader of the Northern district, convinced her that Eva and Daniel did not make it out alive before the bomb detonated.

Now it was time for Jessica, who is unique because she is half vampire and half witch, to confirm the facts of the incident that had already been given to the Council regarding the death of Prince Cole, the southern vampire leader who had tried to rape her. All involved assured her that this would just be a formality as it was clear that Jess killed Cole in self defense. In fact Jessica almost lost her own life in the process. If it wasn't for Luke allowing Jessica to feed when Daniel failed to arrive in time to save her, Jessica would never have made it through the tragedy alive. Now Luke and Brittany, a new friend who is also a witch, are going to the Council meeting with Jessica because both had been present during the event. Others were also present at the Counsel hearing, along with Sebastian there was a witch that Jess knew must belong to the Malden Coven, known now to be Jess' ancestors.

As the proceedings began, the statements were being read aloud as the boring minutes passed. But as none of the facts had changed since the original statements were given the council was almost immediately ready to render a verdict. As Jessica's fate was being decided a voice broke through the proceedings....Daniel Summers, who until this moment was presumed dead, stepped forward. Not only was he alive, but he interjected that he wanted guardianship of Jessica. As the reality of Daniel and Eva's deception was revealed Jessica knew that she would have to distance herself from Daniel and his jealousy. Going to the United States as a ward of the Malden Coven seemed the best solution and when the coven also agreed to sponsor Brittany the decision was made.

The adjustment to life with the Coven was interesting but challenging. Not everyone was thrilled with hosting a vampire within the Coven. But as her aunt trained her to use her magic, her extraordinary power started to reveal itself. But the balance between good magic and dark magic was difficult to keep under control. With her aunts guidance and Brittany's help she began to master spells at each level. She then meets Noah and he proposes a plan to help get his twin sister Susannah to return home by letting Jess feed on him. Noah was sure that when his twin "felt" the feeding through their twin bond that she would eventually come back. After 3 weeks of living off bagged blood, Jess was tempted but avoided Noah because she felt it was wrong to fed off him. But Noah kept pressing and in a moment of weakness Jessica succumbs and immediately Susannah appears angry and defiant along with their mother. After accusations are hurled back and forth the truth of how Noah tricked Jess into feeding off him and his purpose is finally revealed.

As the friendship grows between Jess and Noah, he arranges a way for Jess to get into a club where she can feed properly through his connections with an former vampire girlfriend, India. But underneath it all Jess wonders if she will ever stop missing and loving Daniel. When Daniel shows up begging forgiveness and promising to stay with Jessica no matter what the circumstances, Jess will have to make a choice, but that all takes a back seat when Noah informs Jess that Brittany has left for Louisiana to find her Voodoo family. Jessica takes off through the ley-lines to find Brittany. But is it a loving family that awaits Brittany in Louisiana or does her family coven have something sinister in mind for Brittany and Jess? Even after Jess witnesses a voodoo ritual, which she fears will have some kind of effect on Brittany, things seem to go on as normal until midway through October when Jess starts to notice subtle changes in Brittany. Sure that Brittany's grandmothers ritual is behind her strange behavior, Jess contacts Noah to come help her.

Through everything Jess recognizes that she still feels a pull toward Daniel. She aches for him, thinks of him every night. But Jess knows that her focus has to be Brittany because something is terribly wrong. Noah and Susannah convince Jess that a cleansing ritual must be performed. Convinced it was successful, all chaos breaks out as Brittany disappears immediately before the witch licensing ritual is to begin. Even knowing that Brittany's disappearance could be a trap for the Louisiana coven to get their hands on Jessica, she knows that she must go to find her. But Jess realizing that she can't do this on her own goes to her aunt for help. With Susannah and Aunt Sarah by her side they head through the ley lines to find Brittany. In the end will they be strong enough to go up against this Louisiana coven with all their dark magic? And while Daniel and Jessica have renewed their devotion to each other would he be able to get to Jessica before the dark magic destroys her? These are the questions that are only answered in the last few pages of a book that you just can't turn the pages on fast enough.

Once again, Emma Mills captivates and titillates us with an action packed story that you will find impossible to put down. The incredibly well rounded characters each take you on a separate journey that has you on the edge of your seat and biting your nails! So enjoyable and well written. Well done!

I have to say that I really enjoyed this book, I cannot believe that I read it in less than a day, I was that hooked. Honestly I think I was 36% on my kindle app and then the next thing I knew I was on 70%. Anyways, most of the times I feel that the third book in a series can really be a let down, authors are beginning to feel a little too comfortable as they've already built up a fan base but not this book, I thought it was just as great as the first two books.

I love the characters in the book, especially Jess, I wouldn't say that she is a relatable character with her being a vampire but she is definitely someone to look up to. Her character has grown so much over the past two books and it has been enjoyable for me as a reader, there is so much depth, not just to her character but to all the characters throughout the books. I especially loved the dip into voodoo and dark magic. I want the next book now!

I have been an unabashed fan of Emma's books since the very first one, Witchblood. This series takes witchy stories and vampy stories and weaves them together in a completely unique way. I think that this one is my favorite thus far. Over the course of the books, Jess has grown a lot and it is obvious in this book, as she takes charge of her own life and her own future in ways she hadn't before. I loved that new confidence and maturity in her character. I was all kinds of angry at her love, Daniel, for big parts of the last two books, and I loved that Jess stood up to him and took charge of her own heart! There was a ton of action and mystery and intrigue in this book, with twists and turns all throughout the book. There is also a lot more darkness in this story, with dips into voodoo, zombies, and completely non-paranormal family dysfunction of all kinds!

Things to love about WitchLove...

***Jess. She has changed a lot over the course of the books and I loved her in this book. She is her own person now, able to stand up for herself and I loved seeing that in a character that is impossible not to love.

***The new American characters. Saffy is a real piece of work, but she added a lot to the story. Jess' American family and all of their different personalities added a lot to the story.

***Brittany and her Louisiana family. Brittany ad her family were a huge part of the plot in this book and they were the kind of people you love to hate. I just wanted to grab Brittany and hug her throughout the book!

My recommendation, RUN, don't walk, and buy this book and the previous two! This is a fantastic series that will keep you turning the pages to the very end and leave wanting MORE!!

I'm absolutely blown away by how amazing this series is. With each book it just gets better and better.

I loved that WitchLove focused more of Jess' witch heritage, as she left Manchester and headed to Boston to learn the ways of her coven. Even though she left on the pretense that she had to master her spell-wielding skills and reach level six to get her license, Jess also had to leave everything she knew, so she could find herself, before deciding if Daniel would be allowed back into her heart. Jess has grown so much from the first book and I love how strong and independent she has become.

Brittany is a great sub for Eva. She is young and innocent but also has lots of spunk. I particularly loved it when she asked Jess if American blood tasted different to British blood. It was also interesting to learn more about her, and her family. Although this caused more trouble for everyone, it resulted in an exciting and explosive battle.

Mills crafts an intriguing story with plenty of twists and turns, and you never really know what to expect. With a great mix of supernatural powers, magic and tons of mayhem, this book enthralled me to the very end.

And, oh wow, what and end it was! The epilogue had me voicing a number of acronyms ranging from OMG to WTH.

I have to have the next book in this series...NOW!!!!

'WitchLove' is the third installment in the young adult paranormal romance series that continues to follow Jessica - "Jess" - as she continues to deal with the highs and lows of being a vampire and a witch. In this book, Jess is faced with the reappearance of an old love and she decides to run away to her family's coven to try and harness her powers and gain more independence. While in the United States, Jess will have to attempt to mend her broken heart and to forgive those that have hurt her in the past.

This was a fun and exciting third book in a unique young adult paranormal series. Jess continues to be your typical teenage girl - she's stubborn and demands to get her way, but we see her character changing with the growing responsibilities her powers have given her and the damage of a broken heart. None of the aspects of the plot or the concepts are new, but the mixture is truly interesting. This series continues to surprise me with its plot twists and the mix of paranormal aspects and creatures, and it still proves to be an interesting ride with an enjoyable plot and fun characters. Recommended for fans of YA paranormal fiction!

This book picks up where 'Witchcraft' left off, Jess believes Daniel and Eva are dead, it's been three months and there's been no word from them. After the council meeting Jess finds herself heading for the States and her family's coven in New England where she will hopefully learn to control her power.
My only real issue with the previous two books was Jess but she's much better in this book, she's matured and nowhere near as annoying as she was in fact I'm actually starting to like her.
This book is slower initially than the previous two partly due to the introduction of a new setting and people but it picks up and becomes an enjoyable read.
I'm giving 4 stars because it felt the plot had a few holes in it but despite these it was an entertaining read.

WitchLove
( Witchblood series. #3 )
By Emma Mills.

I'm quite that fan of the WitchBlood series. A mix between Emma Mills writing style and imagination gives you a good solid epic read!

Once again we are back with Jessica our Vampire / Witch Mix. We follow her growth into a controlled easily going light hearted Vampire & Watch her become a licensed witch with her family's clan.
In WitchLove we see witches, white Magic, Dark magic, Voodoo, zombies and more.
Jesses journey is exciting and gripping and I will be flying onto book Four!

This book actually flows very nicely and goes all too quickly. I found where I thought I may have been half way through, I was actually at the end, so I certainly went very quickly.

I love each and every character in this story.

You watch them grow and change, Daniel is a great example of this.
Jessica changes from that of a young girl who is very nieve to a lovely young adult.
and we get to meet some great new characters as well which i very much hope will follow through to book #4.

This is a must read! but you must start at the beginning at book #1.

Love this and 5-stars from me! Bring on book #4.

The following review is my opinion and not a paid review. I was given a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.

When we left off in Witchcraft book #2 in the Witchblood series, Jess and everyone else thought that Daniel, Jess' creator and the guy or vampire whom she is in love with along with his creator Eva think they both died in the explosion. The explosion that was caused by a null bomb that turns vampires into dust upon their death. Jess' is very upset over losing the love of her life. Jess is not convinced that Daniel is dead because she still feels a tiny spark of the connection that she and Daniel shared. Jess herself would have died in this explosion if it had not been for Luke an angel who Jess fed from when Daniel did not show up in time to let Jess feed from him. Jess' blood was drained from her causing her to almost die had it not been for Luke.

With Jess being half-vampire and half-witch she wants and needs to explore her witch side. So after going to court for killing the vampire that almost raped and killed her. The council concluded that she killed him in self defense and released into the custody of her Aunt who lives in American. Jess and her new friend Brittany who is also a witch both go to American to live with her aunt. Brittany being a minor and needing a sponsor like Jess convinces her aunt to take Brittany in as well and help her get her witch licenses too. Jess wants to be on her own, to be her own person and own boss. Having her licenses will help Jess and Brittany to accomplish this. Jess doesn't want to be connected to Daniel or anyone else in this way.

After moving to America Brittany wants to find her family and eventually become a part of their coven. She wants to know and be with her mother's family. When she meets Jess' cousin Noah they make a deal with each other. Brittany wants Noah to help her find her family while Noah wants her to talk Jess into feeding from him so that he can get his sister Susannah to come home. Brittany's family are into voodoo, hoodoo or whatever you want to call it. They are both very close and similar. She believes that her family are good people and not bad people. She is so innocent that she thinks her family would not hurt her much less dabble in dark magick. But when Brittany goes to visit them and Jess comes after her to rescue her she is in for a very big whopper of a surprise.

While Brittany has gone in search of her family Jess meets up with Daniel. She didn't know that he was in America. But when she sees him and he tells her again how sorry he is for making everyone think he was dead and tells her how much he still loves her and wants to be with her. She is not ready to forgive him. Daniel loves Jess and will do or wait as long as he has to in order for Jess to be a part of his life again. Jess loves Daniel but he hurt her so much that she not sure if she can trust him.

You know I have really, really loved all three books in the Witchblood series but book #3 Witchlove is my favorite one. I loved that in Witchlove we get to see the witch side of Jess. Not that I don't l don't love the vampire side. I love reading about both witches and vampires. So with the Witchblood series I get to read about both. I think Emma has out done herself in writing Witchlove. The first two books Witchblood book #1 and Witchcraft book #2 are both excellent books don't get me wrong here but Witchlove was out of this world. I can not wait to read the next book in the series Witch Hunt. I was so happy to hear that there would be a fourth book. This is such fantastical news. Thanks Emma for writing a fourth book and I hope you continue writing more and more books in this series.

I was so surprised and happy at the same time after reading the ending of Witchlove. I couldn't believe it but I am so happy for Jess. I can't wait to find out how Jess will feel when learns of this news. Will she be happy or will she be sad? In one way I think she will be happy but then in another way I think she maybe kind of sad too. Emma please, please, pleaseeeeeee hurry and write Witch Hunt.

If you have not read the Witchblood series well the only thing I can say then is that you need to go right now and pick up a copy of all three books. If you like reading about vampires, witches or angels then there is no way you could not like the Witchblood series. I can honestly say that Emma will not let you down with her writing or with the Witchblood series. Emma is another writer that I think no not think know that we should all keep our eyes on. Why you ask? Well not that she's not already but she is and will be a star one day. She is going to be right there with the big dogs like Stephen King.

In WitchLove, the third installment of her “Witchblood” series, Emma Mills seems determined to prove that her bag o’ tricks is far from exhausted. I mean, the series already features vampires, witches, and angels ... and she tosses zombies into the mix.

So, what’s next? What else can she possibly throw into the cauldron? Dragons? Dwarves? It’ll be interesting to find out.

Nevertheless, WitchLove finds us returning to poor Jess—if you can call being a vampire and a witch poor—a trio of months after the catastrophic conclusion of Witchcraft. Not much has happened during those months, beyond grief, but things heat up quickly. In short time, Jess responds to yet another surprise by fleeing her home and taking up residence with her witch family in the States.

The transition is less than smooth. Along the way, she finds that one love interest kisses like a brother (not cool), another has serious jealousy issues (even worse), and yet another sneaks into her room one night and tricks her into sucking his blood (could be worse, I suppose). Oh yeah; she’s also unwelcomed by a jealous cousin and has to deal with the aforementioned zombies.

I loved the nod to “The Little Mermaid” and the discussion of whether or not “American tasted different.” The book’s pace was markedly slower than its predecessors—far more YA drama than action—which isn’t my preference, but the ending more than made up for that.

About the ending: if anyone had asked, I would have said it was unlikely that WitchLove would deliver an ending to trump Witchcraft. No one asked, of course. No one asks me anything … but that isn’t the point. Nor is it the point to explain that any doubt I harbored had nothing to do with Emma’s abilities—which are tremendous—and everything to do with the jaded New Yorker in me, who finds faults with endings far more than the average reader might. The point is that amazing endings are hard to find and even harder to write … and by this point, Mills doesn’t need an amazing ending to hook people into the next book.

Nevertheless, Mills delivers a killer ending. Anyone who says he/she saw it coming is lying. Period.

I highly recommend the WitchLove series to YA, paranormal romance, and even light horror fans everywhere.

I can’t wait for book four. Let there be dragons!

"I Daniel Summers of the Northern Vampire Clan have come here to claim guardianship over Jessica James"

That quote made me swoon! Seriously I was so worried about Daniel but then THAT happened :) I was still really mad at him but... I got over it, I mean *sigh* I love him

But onto the rest of the book shall we?

So I finally got over hating Luke so much, I totally dont like him, but he is actually an OK guy. The fact that he did something that could actually get him in trouble by saving Jess's life put him back in my good books. BUT he better not try anything with Jess! She totally belongs with Daniel!

Although I loved this book, I didnt like it AS much as I liked WitchCraft, this book was much slower for me after everything that happened in the last book I just wanted MORE. What I did love about this book though was the friendship that formed between Jess and Brittany. At first Brittany was the bad guy... helping Cole and all that, but she is honestly just a scared girl, and because Jess is able to hold onto so much of her human side she sees this and befriends her almost immediately.

Also, as much as I love hearing about the UK, it was awesome that they came over to the US where some things make just a bit more sense to me. But I will admit throughout this book, as well as the others there were certain phrases and words that I had NO idea what they meant and had me jumping on google to find out the meaning.

This book was able to show just how much Jess has grown, she is also not as impulsive anymore, but man is she powerful! Even her Aunt didnt realize she would be that powerful! (kinda like Bonny Bennet when she uses Expression)

I am super loving this series, and I am so sad that the next book is not out yet, Mary is still running around out there, and now this whole thing with Alex? I NEED to know what happens! But, as I am a reader I am use to having to wait for the next book in the series, so i will wait patiently until it comes out.

If you havnt read this series yet? Check it out NOW! The way this book weaves Vampires and magic, as well as Angels is fantastic and you dont want to miss it!

This story continues a couple months after the last one ends. Jess is about to go to court for killing Cole while being held prisoner in the cellar. Since Daniel and Eva have not shown up since then, they are still thought to be dead. So with that in mind, someone else has to provide a place for Jess to live while she is learning about her witch side. That's where her coven side of the family comes in. They offer to provide a home and tutelage for her until she passes the tests necessary to become an independent individual. Bonus, they also agree that her new friend Brittany can come.

The action and suspense continued with this book, and I was not let down. Emma Mills has managed to keep the storyline fresh and intriguing, while introducing new characters and dramatic plots. I loved seeing Jess come to America, but I only wish she had explored more of it. For the most part, when it comes down to it, it takes place at her family's home. Luckily the home and the surrounding grounds are large and varied that you don't feel like you are stifled. And its not like the entire story takes place there, but it just would have been fun to see her very English side interact with our very American ways.

I love how Jess is growing to be such a mature young woman in such a relatively short time. When all is said and done, its only been six months since her transformation. But she is showing a large capacity for love and forgiveness, and growing more and more independent every day. And her new friend Brittany is certainly a lot of fun, and I think she is a great addition to the story.

I'd definitely recommend this series to my friends. It takes the time to shift focus from vampire side to witch side, so you get to know both very well. There are surprises around every corner, and I found myself yelling "yeah!" once or twice during this story. It's great to watch how Jess deals with new circumstances and how she handles herself. I'm anxiously awaiting book four.

This review may contain minor spoilers for book 1 and book 2 as well as some spoilers for the very start of book 3 (sorry but it is impossible to review the book otherwise due to a huge twist at the start. I don’t say what happens but you will be able to guess simply from the characters I mention etc. To be honest you will probably guess it from the book’s synopsis anyway.)

I have loved this British UK/NA vampire series since first reading WitchBlood and WitchCraft was equally fantastic. The ending of book 2 left me very anxious to read WitchLove as several big events occurred that would obviously greatly affect the series and I wasn’t sure if I would love or hate the direction things seemed they would take.

Daniel has always been my favourite character in this series so I didn’t love this book was quite as good as the others due to thing concerning him. I don’t ever want to start loving the hero less; luckily I felt that he redeemed himself later in the book.

Despite missing some of my favourite characters I enjoyed the fact that Jess was away from them all in America for most of the book facing new challenges. Also despite partially wanting more of Daniel, I liked that this book focused more on Jess discovering who she truly was without his presence or their blood bond getting in the way.

Britt proves herself to be a kick-ass character in this book and to also have a huge heart even though it wouldn’t have seemed that way when we first met her in book 2. This book also redeemed a few other characters who had less than dazzling starts and introduced a few more great ones such as Noah.

Overall I thought this was a great continuation to the series and I have very high hopes for the fourth book WitchHunt which I believe is the final one in this series.

This is the third book in the Witchblood series. I absolutely LOVED it!

Jess is a fantastic character! As the story has progressed over the previous two books (and now this one), she has grown in depth emotionally. She has had to face loss several times, which has hardened her slightly. That's not to say she is not caring, far from it. She probably cares too much.

This is a fantastic continuation of the story. I was hooked from the first page. As I started reading this book, I realised that I had missed these characters! Jess, Daniel, Eva, Luke and even Brittany, felt like old friends you haven't heard from for a while, and then you hear from them again, and suddenly you remember why you liked them. They are wonderful characters and very likeable. I was also happy to meet Noah and Susannah, but not so much Saffy (who is a piece of work, let me tell you!). This story has a slightly darker feel to it. You would think that being a vampire/witch, Jess couldn't get into further trouble. However, think again! This book takes a dip into Voodoo, with zombies and dark magic. The last few scenes in the book are hard to describe without giving anything away. However, I was completely shocked and surprised at the epilogue! I certainly didn't see that coming!!! My first thought was, "What the...", closely followed by "Oh, no!!" and then "Urghhh, how could she (the author) do that to me?!". I will say that I hate cliffhangers with a passion, but I also love them too! They make me frustrated, and craving the next part of the story RIGHT NOW!

Emma Mills has written a fast paced story that flows beautifully. It is also a masterpiece of originality. I have never read anything like it before. I highly recommend this YA Paranormal Romance if you love stories with vampires, witches and angels. - Lynn Worton

I LOVE THIS.

It is sad that her and Daniel have such a bad falling out. Great she sticks up for herself and you actually start to see a kick ass heroine instead of the little miss you have previously seen

I was unsure about the new character introduced, if I am honest ALL the new characters introduced were a little bit untrustworthy. Her aunt, I wasn't certain was going to be good. Her cousin Saffy obviously going to be evil. The boy cousin (whose name escapes me) I liked but I wondered if he was going to be as evil as his twin. And the new friend/witch, I saw her causing issues (this isn't me saying she does or doesn't).

I loved this book because it focus' less on the drama between her and the love interest but all on just her and I think the author actually shows us why we should like her or not as some people may do. She shows how kick ass she can be as a witch but also shows her fierceness when it comes to her loyalty, to daniel and to her friends.

I was sad that the book doesn't clear up things about her friend but drops that lovely little bomb at the end. I must admit, I don't want to buy the next book yet as I would like to stop my binge on these books for a while to see if I actually like them after a cooling off, of an initial result...

Don't get me wrong, this book as flaws like Daniel does have a personality issue, but no more than previously shown in books. But so does she although I am happy with the initial ending, I kind of would have liked a different love interest to be formed. And NO not angel vampire, that would be far toooo easy...

WitchLove, by Emma Mills, is a magic fuelled, romance driven, paranormal romance.

The book opens pretty dramatically with an effective build up of tension. This immediately sets the pace and tone for the rest of the book. Not only is WitchLove an engaging read, but the way that Emma Mills has successfully crafted book three in her WitchBlood Series is impressive. The author has enabled the reader to continue to bond with the main character Jess, and develop Jess's character in interesting ways.

Emma Mills provides a shocking twist that will blow fans of this series away. One that is sure to pull at your heart strings and play havoc with your emotions. It really is that big!

It was fun to follow Jess to the different locations across The Pond. Not only was there a lovely level of description that really helped my to visualise Jess's journey, but the array of characters that she meets along the way, are an eclectic bunch. This is a testimony to the author's skill to be able to craft such an interesting and realistic collection of characters.

If you are looking for a treat of a read, filled with hot vamps, sexy witches and other things that go bump in the night, led by a strong female protagonist, be sure to check out Emma Mills's WitchBlood Series.

*Update 6 April 2013*

I have to admit, this my favourite book of the three simply because I prefer witches to vamps, and boy, there's a hell of a lot of witches in this book. Good and bad ones.

After Jess appears before the Supernatural Council, and gets the shock of her life, she decides to go to America to her family's coven.

With her new friend Brittany in tow, Jess begins to learn about how to use and control her magic. They also discover some pretty scary things about Brittay's family. Put it this way, Hoodoo scares the bejesus out of me, and this book didn't rectify that.

With the help of her cousins Noah and Susannah (yeah, that surprised me too), and other members of the Malden Coven, Jess and Brittany deal with a very dark side to magic and manage to become very powerful witches who are a force to be reckoned with.

Also, Jess discovers that she and Luke are not meant to be (sob) and that Daniel is the one for her. - I can handle this now.

I gave this book 4 stars rather than 5 simply because I felt there was more of the story left to tell, so much so I emailed the author asking. She told me there will be a 4th book called WitchHunt and she is currently writing a novella about Eve and Sebastian which should be available to buy next month (yay).

I will definitely read more of this series.

3 1/2 stars.... I'd like to thank the tour company and the author for providing me a copy of all three books in exchange for an honest review. I have to say, this was a much better book than the second book. It was a much smoother transition from book two to book three, compared to the transition between books one and two.
The one part I found the most interesting was the places where the characters were....Malden, Massachussetts (literally next door to the town I live in now), and outside of New Orleans, Louisiana (where I was born and raised).
The story line itself leaves a little to be desired, but it was enough to keep me going through the story. The cliffhanger at the end of the second book was resolved in a rather expected way, so I was kind of disappointed in that.
Overall, though, it was enough of a suspenseful book to keep me going through to the last page.

This book was all about the witches, for the most part. I've grown so attached to the vampires in this series, so I really missed them a lot in this book. But, I know this had to happen too. Jess had to find her roots at some point, so why not now? There was a lot of adventure, suspense, and some all out evil witches through this story. There are also some unexpected allies which I enjoyed.

"WitchLove" is the 3rd book in the 'WitchBlood Series' and it picks up where "WitchCraft" ended. Emma continues to fascinate me with her writing in the series. Another fast paced, smoothly flowing plot that just hooked me in right away. A total must read for all YA paranormal romance, vampire, and witches fans.

This was the story of Jess mother's family and her witch training. I missed Daniel and Jess's relationship but it had some interesting twists and turns.

With the title WitchLove I expected it to be about Jess and Daniel but it was about the love of family.

I really like the new characters they were all very different and made the story more interesting.

Honestly I was a bit disappointed with the 3rd book. For waiting as long as I did for its release, I expected more. I was over 80% into the book on my kindle when there was finally some action, basically just enough to get you excited about the story and then bam, it's over. What a letdown.

This was AWESOME! I loved these books...after reading the first two I couldn't wait for the third. It was better than I ever expected. This is some of the best writing.....everyone should go and get these and read them now. Thanks Emma for three great books.....I only wish there were more.

Great read, probably my favourite of the trilogy ( Though I think a 4th book is being written, please correct me if I am wrong Emma. )
I enjoyed that we found out more about Jess' witch side of the family. Lots of drama, great characters, thoroughly recommend!
