I am trying to eat healthier. I am fortunate to have a friend who is a chef. He recommended I buy this book to learn more about cooking fish. As an experienced chef he uses the recipes in his restaurant and as an at home cook I have found this book to be especially helpful and resourceful.
I love this easy to follow and highly readable cookbook. I am not a confident cook yet I found those recipes easy to follow. With readily available ingredients and easy to follow instructions, I was able to prepare delicious fish with ease. It's also the kind of cook book that is fun to read whether you cook or not.. There is a lot of great information about fish and shellfish, how to purchase for freshness, how to prepare, how to select sustainable options. I enjoyed the author's personal stories that are included. Most of all, the author presents realistically. You have all the information and guidance you need to be successful with these recipes, not to mention there are some good laughs.
I highly recommend this book to cooks and non-cooks, especially reluctant cooks like me.
