Yeah, not bad. Wish it was a bit more clever (and rhythmical) with the comparisons. My son LOVES to rock (well, he's only 11 months, but...) especially jamming with his Mum. I guess this book is ok, but doesn't compare to the real thing.

Yesterday (1/8/19) was our first day back at Book Babies after our Winter Break! We only had one baby for our story time, which is normal for the first day back. I gave this four stars merely because it was a bit long for our little one yesterday. I did tell the mom that it's okay to not finish books! We do what baby wants, and if baby doesn't like the book, we can do something else! That's one of the best ways to get kids to love reading. We will try this book again next week (hopefully more babies will be attending!), and see how it goes.

When I read this to myself, I thought it was just ok. When I heard my husband read it aloud to our 6-month-old, I really heard its cleverness. Creative world-play and a fun exploration of some basic music vocabulary.

A really excellent board book. Not too long, not too short. Really clever and pun-ny.

2.5 stars. One of the baby books funnier for the adults than for child. Cute, "punny".

This is a cute book for fans of music.

cute illustrations. some of the words have colored boxes around them which sometimes rhyme. I wish there was consistency in this. fun board book, could be a discussion starter about different types of music.

A mystifying tale...however, I'm not usually a fan of the case being solved by the title of the book, but I don't think it's intended audience is looking for any big twists.
If you like animals and music, you'll probably think this book is a cutie.

As kids books go this one was at least kept it's adult cred, no pandering, cute and clever characterizations of different types of music and animals that emulate those genres. Great gift from auntie Chia and Uncle Dave!

Delightful puns and colorful illustrations make this a fun read for a toddler and family.
(I wouldn't ordinarily count a book so small toward my goal, but some of the longer Spanish one's I'm reading with the big kid aren't listed on Goodreads.)

Fun... but I wish it was in a bigger format to make it easier to use for toddler storytime. May have to make story cards for this one...

Love all the animals rocking out in the colorful lively pictures!

I found the rhythm in this one so odd. It felt like it ought to rhyme somehow and didn't, at all. Feel like it would make an awkward readaloud.

I got this book for my 3 year old but my 5 year old decided to read her sisters books. LOL!

A gift from Dave and Chia which made Luxmi want to give it 5 stars. Another fun board book that keeps you guessing until the end!

This book is so awesome. It's a board book and it's just so adorable, each of the animals has their own style of music. I love the illustrations too, very bright and colorful and fun.

I'm a musician myself and I found it fun and educational for my babies. Daddy really got into screaming "Who Loves to Rock?!".

My baby does not love this book, but I think it's adorable, blending animals, music genres, and the double-meaning of rock.
