About the author

DENEANE ELISE CLARK lives in South Carolina, just across the border from Charlotte, North Carolina, with her teenage daughter and son, and a cat clinging in ignorant bliss to her three remaining lives. The eldest of three girls, she grew up just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana, wandering through her childhood with her nose buried in a book when she should have been cleaning her room.

Currently, she spends her days working full time, her nights writing, and the in-between times sitting on bleachers and selling concessions for the high school booster club. To relax, she likes to go to a local restaurant on a nearby lake and sit on the deck enjoying laughter and drinks with an amazing group of friends.

I hate the big "misunderstanding" and stupid heroine. There were some scenes that were ok but I just didn't get the romance.

Much like Grace, I really liked this book. It was right up my alley. The only thing that kept me from giving it the same rating is how fed up I was with Faith by the end. How hard is it to talk to your husband??? I noticed I seem to have this problem- I hate when 21st century ideas are imposed on 19th century characters (as with Grace) but when 19th century characters are authentic to the time period (as with Faith) I get fed up.

That being said... TALK TO YOUR HUSBAND FAITH! You could have saved 100 pages of distress! I'd much rather read about how amazing Gareth is, rather than how you don't know why he's angry (which you do, you just don't want to admit it!)

Also, I was more aware of the impending twist this time, which is not surprising since I read this back to back with the other.

Nothing wrong with the writing. My complaints are solely towards the plot: I hate a romance novel that has as a main plot the couple's misunderstanding each other. If you hate it too, give this one a pass.

Bir skandala sebebiyle apar topar evlenmek zorunda kalan Faith ve Gareth in zorluklarla dolu evlilik hayatını okuduk.

Bundan önce historical kitapların en iyilerini okumamış olsam enler listeme iyi bir giriş yapardı seri. Ancak şu an sadece piyasada mükemmel historical kalmadığı için güzel vakit geçirmek için birebir denilebilir.

Ayrıca çevirmen ya da editör her kimse tutarlılığından ötürü kutluyorum kendisini. Çünkü ısrarla "lort" kelimesini kullanmaya büyük bir aşkla devam ediyor. Sinir bozucu...

Romanlarını okudum..Yayınevini aslında bir seriden ardaarda iki romanı yayınladığı için tebrik etmek istiyorum...Bu uygulama sanırım bir ilk romans grubunda ..Umarım bu uygulamayı diğer yayın evlerimizde uygulamaya başlar...

Denane Clark'ı ilk defa okuyorum..Judith McNaugh'tan çok etkilenmiş olsada asla onun kalem gücü yok..Bunu peşinen belirteyim..Ama bu iki kitabı ard arda okuyunca okuma sürecim çok keyifli oldu...Özellikle Issız Bir Aşkın Kıyısında'yı daha çok beğendim kurgulama bakımından..
Kalbim Evine Döndü Judith McNaught'un İçinde Aşk saklı romanından alıntılar olsada yazar sanki sıkılmış gibi Nişanlık sözleşmesini es geçiverdi vee olaylara bir de bir kaçırma macerası ekledi...Bu ilk kitapta Grace Ackeryl ve Kont Travor Caldwell'in hikayesi vardı..

İkinci hikayede ise KIzkardeş Faith Ackeryl ve GAreth Lloyd'un hikayesi idi...
İkinci hikayedeki kız kardeş Faith Grace'e nazaran daha içe kapanık,dingin ablası ise daha fevri tabiatlı idi..Ama bu iki genç kızın aşklarındaki gel gitlerin okurken bazen yorulduğumu hissettim..
Yine de Judith McNaught'ubu adar özlemişken okurkenkeyifle okudum..

Serinin Devamını sabırsızlıkla bekliyorum..Özellikle en küçük kızkardeş Mercy'nin Dük Sebastian ile hikayesi çok ilginç olacağa benzer..Yazar umarım yayın evi ile sorunu halleder...

Faza beklenti içine girmeden okursanız büyük bir keyif alacağınıza inanıyorum...

İlk kitap bittiği gibi başladım bu kitaba da. Buzlar Prensesi Faith ile sonradan başına unvan ile birlikte kocaman bir miras kalan, Faith'in sorumsuz olarak gördüğü Gareth'in geçtiği, en az ilk kitaptaki kadar güzel bir hikaye okudum.

Olaylar ilk kitaba göre biraz daha hızlı gelişiyor. Burada da yanlış anlaşılmalar var yine, kızımız biraz soğuk ve bazı şeyleri kabullenemiyor. Ablasından almış biraz inatçılık.

Gareth ise ah, tam benlik bir eleman. Trevor'a göre daha katı, sert bir kişiliği var. Ama sevdiği kızın karşısında eriyor, bitiyor zavallı. Neyse ki çiftimizin mutlu sahneleri sayesinde çok fazla sinirlenmedim. Ama Faith'i de pek sevemedim orası ayrı.

How naive of me thought this book would be better than Grace. =_=
The heroine is a hysteric at the beginning of the book and people call her "ice princess", mind you. Now I can see the sarcasm in there :D.
Then, she becomes a typical TSTL heroine and I'm finishing this book.
The extra 1 star is for the hero, he's got my sympathy.

Main Story is of Faith and Gareth
Sides story is of the Ackerley sisters : Patience, Grace, Amity, Charity, Faith and Mercy the youngest at 13 nearly 14!!
The story is delightful and enjoyable to read.
Mercy is a Hoot will she every get her Dashing Duke!!
Recommend Highly.
Historical Romance, with Drama and a slight bit of Ton Action.

Great example of the lack of effective communication in some marriages/relationships. The lack of communication and unwarranted anger was annoying at times; overall the book was ok. I liked the first one more. Hopefully, the author's choice of plots get better with Charity's story.

Faith

Faith was a delightful read with enough intrigue and romance to keep the reader engaged till the very end.

If I had one complaint it was how quick Gareth was to condemn Faith.

Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.
