Ozzy and Black Sabbath: What Evil Lurks is a amazing biography. I don't read to many biography's but when it comes to The Prince Of Darkness-Ozzy, I'm going to read every bit of it.

Ozzy and Black Sabbath: What Evil Lurks is about the rise and fall of Ozzy and Black Sabbath. This book goes into detail of the triumphs the band succeeded and why the band split. As most fans know, drugs and alcohol played a huge factor with a lot of issues that occurred with the band and ultimately lead the split.

This book does mention Ozzy's first wife and also how Ozzy met lovely Sharon, who would eventually become his wife. Sharon had became Ozzy's manager when he went solo. She kept him straight for the most part.

Ozzy always put on a good concert and he was known for his chaotic, bizarre behavior but everyone loved that about Ozzy.

This biography goes in detail what every fan wants to know. This book will give you everything you want to know about Ozzy life before and after Black Sabbath. There is detail about Ozzy going Solo, his marriage to Sharon, the downright crazy, bizarre things Ozzy has done and he has done ALOT. People not only loved Ozzy for his music but everyone loved him for him not caring what others say about him, or him not bothered by the crazy stuff he has done and people talking bad about him.

This biography is exceptionally written well. The pictures added are amazing and very nostalgic. For any Ozzy and Black Sabbath fan, this is a must have in your collection. I know i will be grabbing one when its available for my brother, he is a huge Ozzy fan with the same tattoo as Ozzy, Ozzy across his knuckles. So i am will be getting this for my brother and he will love it.

I have to admit, I am not really an avid reader of biographies, but there are just some people out there who intrigue me and Ozzy Osbourne has always been one of those people. Known for being the lead singer of Black Sabbath his weird and wonderful antics over the years have been well documented. But then having watched 'The Osbornes' reality tv show back in the day and see his wife Sharon on tv often, we also got to see a more gentle and caring side to his character.

This book is a must for all Black Sabbath and Ozzy fans out there. It documents his early life in Alson, Birmingham, to how he met his band mates and them becoming one of the greatest metal bands of all time. Love by all generations. No details are spared about the drugs and alcohol abuse that eventually lead the band to split or his relationship with his first wife and how he came to meet Sharon when he decided to go solo and she became his manager. Nor do we miss out on any of the crazy things he has done, and there are plenty. He was totally insane in places.

This is a really lovely tribute to the man himself and indeed his other bandmates. It Is filled with photographs and interview snippets which I am sure will be loved by anyone interested in the bank or even music in general.

My thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for giving me a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A fabulous book looking at the history of Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath from whence the individuals were born up to the groups farewell tour in 2016.

Full of images, information, discographies for the group and each band member.

Note: this is a republished book and the text only goes up to 2016 - anything any of the band has done since is not included.

I received this book from Netgalley in return for a honest review.

There's a lot of times when I gasps and surprised while reading this book. I didn't know that they've been through A LOT of changing line-ups, and all the drama from the rock and roll scene based on the release of their albums and reunion. On top of that, they're definitely a legend!

A real treat for fans of the band and of music history alike. It doesn’t present as well on kindle as it would in hard copy, but it still looks good and there are some terrific images included.
