A great companion to her first cake mix book, with similiar sytle of recipes. I own both the Kindle and paperback versions-so that I can plan and shop for ingredients on the go. A cookbook that should be in every parent's home--just the right thing for those "I need something for tomorrow's school party" times.

A very useful book for cooks

I find books like this and get so wistful. I wish there were some that were gluten-free. However, that said there are recipes here that could easily be turned gluten-free by utilizing gluten-free cake mixes. I plan on trying this myself.

just got this one for Mother's Day. I love this one! I'll admit, it has a lot of super easy recipes that hardly need writing down, and she uses variations on the same thing over and over. But if you are a beginning cook, a book like this would be a great resource until you develop a little confidence to do this yourself. And even if you are an experienced cook, it's still a source of great ideas and some tasty things. I love the coffee cake, and I can't wait to try the cookie pizzas, especially the peanut butter one. Yum.

Not horrible, not great. Interesting ideas...but I have too little counter space to roll out dough.
